Collision will be just fine without him; and heck, maybe they could use the freed-up time to properly develop the women's division.

I know this is off topic but, it's not gonna happen. It should. It won't.

  2. I know I've said this before but it just seems like wrestling is a miserable experience for Punk.

It feels like Collision was his best chance at being happy, a rich promoter who let's him book what he wants on his own show. Short of another one coming along and letting him run the whole promotion it just seems like he's never not going to reach a place where he can be fully content in wrestling.

Obviously nobody really knows what's going on, but in a weird way Punk's story feels like it's heading in the same direction as all those wrestlers who couldn't let go of something that brought them misery, only this time there's no substance abuse.

I dunno, maybe that's just who he is and getting out of wrestling again wouldn't really make much difference. Maybe he's burning through those savings. Maybe he needs a creative outlet and there's nothing else that's worked for him. But, even though I've never particularly been a fan and think that he's vastly overrated as a wrestler, I do feel sorry for him. And I do wonder what it's doing to his mental health to constantly be in shit at work.

Kind of wished it started a little later but that's life

Don't tempt them. It's gonna be impossible for everyone to get home as it is!

Production wise, I'm looking forward to how awful the Jericho performance is going to sound.

I don't like pints at events with massive crowds due to having the bladder of a 90 year old, but would 100% choose wine over fucking Budweiser.

When it first opened Wembley had the most toilets of any stadium/building in Europe.

  5. I hate video game trophies. I realise that it encourages some people to get more out of a game but when that more is collecting 500 feathers or 6 billion headshots or something it just sounds like a miserable slog. And worse, I'm sure some game developers use it in place of generating actual interesting content.

The most I've ever got out of them is a "oh, that's a pun."

  6. I was more thinking that it's hard for a crowd to remain at a fever pitch for 5 hours and actually you might want to let them deflate for a bit.

I mean visually Sting and Darby in a coffin match probably looks better at night but then, Sting going into a coffin at sunset would be a pretty sweet image too. I don't think they should aim for that because I don't think they'd hit their mark but still.

In terms of getting the right light I think they'll want the Stadium Stampede out while there's still daylight.

  7. I think it's difficult to predict the coffin match unless you know where its placed on the card. I could see it being a bit deflating if Sting loses but if its positioned right that's not necessarily a bad thing.

  8. I'm surprised we don't seem to be getting a Casino Rumble thing to chuck load of bodies on the card. I can see a fair few pissed off wrestlers if they don't at least get a pre show match and Cole and MJF do.

  9. Take the Lucha Bros out of the Stadium Stampede and put them in a tag match with the Young Bucks. Put Sue and Statlander in their place.

Chuck Martinez and Diamante on the other side.

Or, run Young Bucks vs Golden Lovers and run an Adam Page singles match against Jay White or something.

    Edit:

Sorry, I know fantasy booking is boring so is Edge so...

  10. For all the speculating, it wouldn't surprise me if they genuinely don't know who all the mystery people are.

They could he waiting on hearing how Danielson is getting on, amongst other things.

It's Kenny, Hangman and Ibushi who can easily have a 5+ snowflake trios match if on form. I'm good with that.

I mean, based on Ibushi's last appearance I think it's safe to say he isn't on form.

  12. There's a distinct lack of "oh shit, I want to see that" singles matches for me but I realise that's probably what MJF/Cole and Jericho/Ospreay are for other people.

I dunno, I guess it's the lack of Omega or Moxley single matches.

People are starting to open their eyes and see that AEW is just another promotion where the wrestlers are milking the clueless money mark for all they can.

    It's a shame.

Is that really anymore or less true than it was in 2019?
