I thought that The A Team figures would go for a decent price on ebay but they actually don't. I remember when i took mine to school and some bastard stole Face.

It doesn't matter how much the collector needs that figure if it's not in mint condition and in the original packaging they wouldn't be interested. Most collectors wouldn't remove them from the packaging to start with.

I know that most of the movies made by WWE have been flops. But if you haven't seen The Call with Halle Berry it's defo worth a watch. I've got Oculus too but haven't watched it yet. Anyone seen it?

It's a shame he got injured i loved his gimmick and his theme was decent too.

Just finished watching the Hart episode in the Monday Night War series and although i still enjoyed it there was nothing new thrown in. It was pretty much the Greatest Rivalries with Bret and Shawn cut down to an hour. They finished it off with Bret's return to Raw in 2010 when he and Shawn buried the hatchet. But these episodes seem to have the same talking head segments thrown in almost every time.

When that other script from Raw leaked out a couple of weeks ago i was surprised to find that almost everything Triple H had said in the promo on Jericho's highlight reel was all on paper. If anybody was to ad-lib it would be Hunter.

Did anyone see Trish Stratus's collection? She had hundreds.

Nowhere is it more evident that scripted promos suck than when Reigns is doing one. He's playing the ice cool, man of few words destruction machine. But he sounds like a man geeing himself up for another difficult trip to the toilet and it's really hard to get behind him. And there's no reason for it not to suck - the people writing it clearly have no concept of coolness or toughness so it immediately sounds like a 13 year old's promo. Couple it with his wooden delivery and the guy's getting noticeably colder every week.

I think his delivery is decent. I don't think it works especially well in the backstage promos, he seems too quiet and the crowd can't hear it.

 

Is there such an absence of trust in letting the wrestlers talk for themselves, they think they'll say something homophobic/racist/offensive if they dare let them go off script? Surely that's what all the media handling training is for? I know we're in the traditional lull period now, but almost everything, bar Cena/Lesnar, is so sterile.

Watch TNA if you want unscripted rambling shit promos. WWE have it right I think. They script promos but there is room for the delivery to be improvised. It's miles better than the alternative. As much as we harp back to great unscripted promos of the past, we seem to forget most were boring, nonsensical or both.

He'll be a champion that the fans would get tired of real soon. His character sucks now that he's on his own. Give me Ambrose and Rollins over Reigns anyday. Point is Nash looked like a good champion on paper but look how it turned out. He's like Nash in many ways i think. Just quicker.

I can confirm the one I had never had "free Hulk Hogan" on the box. It came in its own box. So chances are Littlewoods just threw it for free.

Yes the figure came in its own packaging inside. But it had a picture advertising the free figure inside on the ring box.

I would've kept the box if i had known back then that some guy online was going to doubt it 20 years later.

Bret vs Bulldog in december 95 is one I can think off, another In Your House belter.

 I think i have watched that match more than their Wembley encounter. Which is saying something.

I actually enjoyed the Final Four PPV aswell. The worst IYH for me was It's Time. Nothing stood out from that show.
