The chance Triple H doesn’t know of any prosecution-worthy actions of Vince is zero.

There’s still time for Boss Man to finish his story at the Rumble.

I can’t dislike Peter Hitchens.
He’s a deeply weird reactionary with legitimately hideous views. And I know the lovable weirdo shtick is a shtick. But still I root for him.Â

Can you imagine him using the word ‘spiritually’?
They’re working something. Be fun if he goes down the route of those bro podcast twerps and turns to things like ‘mindfulness’, positive mental attitude and spirituality etc, before Seth Rollins tries to tear him down and prove he’s a lying sack of shit.
I actually like the fantasy booking but this isn’t new for Punk, he’s been a Positive Mental Attitude wally for years. Has it tattooed on his finger:
Let’s not forget he PMA’d himself into taking a UFC fight while still functionally a white belt. In his late 30s.Â

I wasn't imagining those boos for Punk was I?
Are we going to get Cena and Punk across a ring from eachother, and its Cena being cheered while Punk has to do the 'they paid their money they can boo me if they want' shtick?

At this point, I wouldn’t even be shocked if they get Moxley back at some point.
H should take it as a personal project to finally do the Shield triple threat as a Mania main event, right before smiling and evaporating into the aether.

Breathtaking stuff. Attacking Jungle Boy seems to have turned him into Benjamin Button.
It's not too late for those speculating whether Rollins' reaction was real to edit their posts. It's fine, we're all in shock.

Get the TKO brass to make some calls and have Mickey Gall win the Rumble.

The idea that Vince has been "had" in some way is just... the guy has just banked an insanely large cheque, still has a very high level job. Â He's not an idiot, he's been doing this for years. Â He knew when he sold the company that it was the end of one way of working.
This would be true if it was a normal merger, but the way Vince forced himself back into the company after the board had unanimously voted against it (his daughter included) suggests Vince had to get some new owners in lest he be frozen out.
In that light, the Endeavour sale was the lesser of two evils for Vince in terms of power, rather than a straightforward cashing out. If not for the board mutiny you’d never have seen Vince dilute his own power to such an extent.

Its not always that people want Punk to live up to the gimmick in real life, but for the character to live up to it. The two get confused because they overlap, particularly in Punk’s case.
It does detract from Punk’s on-screen gimmick if he goes back to the company after building a character around opposition to the company. That’s not the end of the world, but it is true.

If H's ticker wasn't fucked I'd be all up for Hunter getting Punk to come back and finally face him at Mania. Third match from the top, just like he was offered last time.
Even let Punk go over, but with a 'Don't Forget, You're Here Forever' on the wall of his locker room on the night.

Punk vs Eddie Kingston was the best one PPV feud of all time.

Nick Jackson's bald spot is becoming an issue.

Foley’s bit on that ‘Rage Party’ MTV thing from the night before Mania 15 is the only slow segment in the whole thing.
Comes out and does a tight five of stand-up based around a succession of punchlines that rhyme with ‘pimping ain’t easy.’ Comes across like he never consumes any non-wrestling media, worse than Vince even. Even the crowd of drunken frat boys don’t really go for it.

A Sting title win is a mad shout. All for giving him a big moment but it would devalue MJF and the belt to have a sexagenarian take it from him even briefly.
If you really want the rhyme with the WCW tour from ‘93 then having Darby unseat MJF for a few days with Sting as back-up would be a better shout. And I’m not even a Darby fan.

I just saw the word 'puroresu' for the first time in donkeys' years and got a powerful rush of that bittersweet nostalgia for the big green DVDVR forum.

They must have had the same thought as everyone else when Collision went off the air with no hook for the following week. Punk run-in on the opening segment of the next Dynamite to announce a main event then. EVPs be damned.

You don't get to flip the table over because you're losing the game and storm off, then turn round at the people picking up the pieces and say, "See! Look at the mess you're in without me!"
Sure, but to say that the show carried on 'without any bother at all' is just revisionist.

2. His on screen/in-ring contributions were not missed one bit. The show on didn't suffer and the actual real life superstars such as Sting, Moxley, Danielson, Cassidy, Allin, MJF carried the roster without any bother at all.
Does anyone actually believe this? Dynamite felt directionless for months after Punk disappeared, and most agreed that MJF’s title reign was a damp squib until the Iron Man match.
They’re definitely sucking diesel again the last month or so, but One Bill Phil’s absence was absolutely felt when he first left and it took them ages to get the shows working again. It’s only really with the BCC/Elite feud clicking into gear that they got their groove back.
-
Was Punk wearing them Kanye West boots when he came out for his promo?
-
Punk elevated MJF more than anything else Max has ever done. And his title reign fell flat early on precisely because Punk wasn't there to give him the title win he should have had.
Punk's promo has the potential to lead to some very interesting stuff. He should have gone off the air holding the 'Real' World title over his head though.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall when the Dynamite whatsapp group find out Collision have got Sir Elton while their big guest star for next week is Ray J. Johnson.

If a load of lads on the UKFF know Vince did at least $14.6m worth of NDA-worthy stuff then his son-in-law/member of the board who investigated the NDAs must know some details.
