  1. Great show (it's all on dailymotion if you're still looking)

Thought Okada vs Omega was great, not the greatest match ever, not even the best match on the card. Tanahashi vs Naito was my favourite match, absolutely loved it and enjoyed it so much. Tanahashi is so great.

  2. Just looked at poster, Cabana and MVP are missing too. There's plenty of room for all three without removing anyone and you'd think MVP would be front and centre (WWE name). Pentagon too, just because he just looks the bollocks.

Interesting/important year for PCW I reckon. They seem to be struggling to shift tickets for Liverpool show in February and theres no competition on the same night this time from ROH. New promotions popping up everywhere and you have more shows happening in and around the country, PCW need to up their game a bit, not alienating regulars might be a start.

  3. I reckon he's a perfect fit for NXT, he's definitely got more upside than Ospreay and ZSJ, even Tommy End who has signed.

He was killing it in PWG and Evolve which helps a lot when trying to get the attention of WWE/NXT folk but he's just signed with ROH hasn't he?

  4. I think Marty has it all now, the improvement he's made is staggering, he's really worked on all aspects. He's a great foil for Ospreay, ZSJ and can match them in the ring and he's a far better storyteller than either of them. The gimmick, his promos, the facials, he's got them all down to a tee. His Progress work has been excellent and if you were to watch just one match, check out his match v Chris Hero. Wonderful pro wrestling.

  5. PCW got around 150 which was still good considering. But i feel i made the right choice going to pcw who put on a unexpected great show.

Bubblegum vs Allmark 2 was just as good as the first one.

Went to PCW show and now have no regrets about missing ROH. PCW knocked it out of the park, a brilliant show. Main event was fantastic. The CZW lads really put on a show and several people I spoke to who hadn't really heard of them were really impressed. Honky Tonk Man and Douglas were loads of fun.

Show drew better than I expected considering but I'd be curious to have seen how many more they could have fit in the venue anyway, it's quite small.

  6. I found all the pivotshare demand sites (Progress, ICW, PCW, CZW etc) to be pretty poor on every device I tried. Until I bought a roku stick, £25 from Argos, and they all work a treat, no issues at all.

I don't bother with any demand sites now unless they have an app on roku.

  7. Lillard, Davis and Kawhi have been the standouts so far. Like the look of Turner of the Pacers too.

I know it's early days yet but I'm loving this Bulls side. Rondo and Lopez were great last night.

Really enjoyed the Wolves-Kings match. Great finish. Really want the Wolves to do well, young squad with huge potential, but they can't seem to finish teams off. Once again, early days yet.

Early game on BT tonight with Clippers-Jazz at 2030. Nice week of the year where we get games an hour earlier than usual until US clocks change

  8. Enjoyed the three games. Haha I think everyone but Warriors fans will be taking delight in their losses. Superteam dismantled by the Spurs, who looked so good, but was that ever in doubt?

Knicks didn't look like a team at all, what did they do in pre-season? Early days yet.

Stuck a fiver on Blazers winning Western Conference a few weeks back, 66/1. Just a hunch but in Lillard they have a guy who could drag them to the finals.

Bulls tomorrow. Slightly optimistic they can mount a play off challenge but fearful at the same time that we'll crash spectacularly.

  9. Wouldn't say the Olympia is run down but to say it could do with a lick of paint is an understatement, it is still a cracking venue and has its charm.

Really enjoyed every show I've been to there (although the last NGW show was ridiculously cold). Not a bad seat in the house either.

  10. For hugely selfish and sentimental reasons I'd love the Olympia again. However better production values since 2007 would it film well in there?

NGW have filmed there and it looks decent, excellent by current standards, not as dark as when ROH were there in 06/07.

The O2 Ritz in Manchester would be a nice venue too.

Be interesting to see where they announce with many of their target audience most likely already committed to PCW and ICW shows the same weekend. Plus the PCW/ROH weekender the week after which many ROH fans may have already bought tickets for.

I'd like to think ROH will get tickets on sale sooner rather than later.

Haven't watched ROH much at all the past year or two after over 10 years of religiously following them. The thought of ROH at the Olympia has evoked some top memories so really looking forward to it and now playing catch up. Now holding off buying PCW tickets and Comic Con tickets until announcements are made.

  11. Enjoyed the show, good family show. We had to leave early missing the last match because the last train was 2120.

Got to give PCW credit it ran very smoothly as far as fans getting and finding seats etc

Another story I'd like to share. RVD was meant to be part of the pre show meet and greet but missed it because of flight delays. Me and the lad were disappointed, it was the big factor in me buying the gold VIP to ensure we got the meet with RVD. PCW announced that the m&g will take place post show. There was word that maybe some VIP holders might meet him during intermission but intermission never happened.

I spoke to Fludder, now I was kind of dreading this having heard stories but lad was gutted and I got to try, explained that my last train was at 2120 and he told me they over running but straight after RVD match to come and find him. Actually expected it to be a fob off, the match finished at about 5 past (cutting it fine) we found Fludder and to his absolute credit he kept to his word, took us to the back and straight to Rob, who in turn was an absolute gent. My son got his pic and left buzzing, we both did. Fludder kept to his word and was super nice (considering they were running an ippv and big crowd he probably had every right not to be). So a massive thank you to Fludder and PCW.

  12. Phenomenal, such a tense game, I imagine fans of both sides were put through the ringer.

The last 2 minutes were heart in mouth stuff, even as a neutral. Nothing would land and that block by LeBron on Igoudala, superhuman.

Then LeBron goes down, looked nasty and he's clearly in agony, he misses the first free throw but nets the 2nd. Proper Hollywood ending, amazing.

Thoroughly deserved and LeBron wasn't letting go of those trophies was he!

An amazing end to an enthralling series.

  13. An absolutely atrocious performance by the Cavs last night. Kyrie, JR and Love combine for 20 points...really?

Lebron played well but looked tired and completely overwhelmed at times. Plus, Love exited with a concussion so will he play game 3?

They also made the mistake of just allowing Draymond to shoot uncontested 3s over and over. It's not looking good for the Cavs.

More thoughts later. I'm still tired...

Watching now, in 4th quarter (usually stay offline but its game over with 10 to go). Cavs were indeed shocking, they made Barbosa and Bogut look like superstars. The GSW bench is winning these finals so far.

Really hope Cavs win game 3, I want to see a proper finals, but based on first two games a sweep isn't out of the question now.

  14. Really can't call it.

Cavs have Love and Irving fit and healthy this time, fancy them to take one of the road games from game 1 or 2.

Going to be an epic series. I'm a neutral for these finals so hoping for a 7 game thriller and that we see the absolute best of Curry and Lebron. Can't wait
