I still want Astro's book in physical format!
Â
Get with the times, grandad!
Â
(There almost definitely won't ever be a paperback. Phones, tablets and computers are physical though. There literally is a free app for that)
Â
Â
Are you not able to stick it up on one of those "on demand" printing sites like lulu.com? I have no idea how they work, or if they'd be worth the effort. I'm with grandad on this, I'd much prefer a physical book.

The waiting is a right pain. After travel, standing in a queue and then up to 2 hours wait inside before the show I'm ready for a little snooze.
-
Saw a video of a woman getting her beef curtains stung by a wasp, she didn't seem to enjoy it too much.
-
Got out of bed last week and saw a huge spider scuttle out from under the covers. I haven't slept since. The depressing thing is, it's the first living thing I've had in my bed for months.

If Peppa Pig was Prime Minister why would she advocate eating ham sandwiches?
-
They've been tightening their belts for a while now, so no chance of any interesting new PPV sets unfortunately. Seems a shame they don't dust off some bits from old sets to reuse, aren't they still in this mythical WWE warehouse?

the adverts during matches is just ridiculous, it's almost like telling the audience...'dont worry, the next three minutes of this match is going to be completely meaningless'.
Â
But you can watch it the WWE app.
"....as Raw rolls on!"
-
Does anyone here actually stay up til over 4am to watch Raw live? I have to watch it the next day i can't stand sitting through adverts every 10 minutes for 3 hours.
Â
I use to watch it live as a student, I can't even stand sitting through the whole thing without adverts these days though.

El Ligero posted on his Facebook that he was invited to the King of Trios shows but would have to pay his own flight. He told them where to go and had a go at any wrestlers that would effectively work for free. He didnt mention the names of the 3 UK guys who were going.
Â
The three guys obviously believe they will benefit by paying for their own flights, not that CHIKARA will give them much exposure.
Â
Does Quackenbush still run/own CHIKARA? Isn't he supposedly a tight arse when it comes to money.
Â
Seems fair enough if you can pick up some other bookings, or just treat it as a bit of a holiday. Gives all the BritWres promoters something else to stick on their posters too - "as seen in Chikara".

Still got a front row superticket going for the ROH weekend if anyone is interested?Â
-
It's his US working visa that expired, so it shouldn't effect him coming the the UK. Unless he's just too thick to sort out working visas correctly I guess.
-
I hope Brown wins, he actually looks like a wrestler and he's sexy too.

After recently watching the PWG event 11 and seeing Chris Hero vs Kyle O'Reily, i actually think Hero's weight gain could be worked as a positive. Â With his beard, he just looks like a big tough guy who like to hurt people. Â A change of gimmick and ring attire would help. Â His ring style is hard-hitting and would only need a slight tweak. Â On the indies, a gimmick change would be hard i guess, if he was still on NXT a 'mans man' Regal type gimmick or a lumberjack gimmick might work.
Â
Maybe he could be a fat trucker.
I don't usually mind fat lads in wrestling, but Hero just looks like a hideous bloated version of his former self. It both depresses and disgusts me.

What type of merch is for sale at WWE UK shows? Obviously there will be T-Shirts but do they sell other stuff? taking kids, nephews to the november shows and was wondering what to expect
Â
I remember there being programmes, and the obvious stuff like Cena armbands. I think Wyatt sheep masks too.
Apologies for the pretty vague answer!

I believe Slipknot's new drummer is Jay Weinberg, formerly of Against Me!.
Â
Thought he left Against Me to go make tacos or something. Although you'd have to fucking love tacos to turn down Slipknot money.
Â
EDIT: I was thinking of a different Against Me drummer. I'm hungry for tacos now.

I finally gave in and bought a PS4 the other day with Last of Us and Watch Dogs. I've mostly spent my time playing the update of Abe's Oddysee though, what a cracking game.
-
Bloody brilliant, thanks for that. I think the only film out of those I've seen is Project A, which I used to watch constantly.Â
Shame the old Hing Kong Legends label is now defunct, but hopefully I can pick up a few of those on the cheap before I resort to downloading.

Lots of words about films
Â
Â
Which Sammo Hung films would you recommend checking out? I used to love Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee as a young teen, but never delved into the genre much further than that.
-
I always imagined him as Vito Corleone, running around with a bit of orange in his gob before keeling over.
-
The Video Nasties DVDs are worth it for the trailers alone. I love all the introductions on there, I could listen to Kim Newman talk all day. What a snappy dresser.
-
Daniel Bryan has an autobiography out next year. Can't see him being the sort to dish any dirt on anybody, but looking forward to giving it a read regardless.
-
Looks like I have a spare front row superticket for the ROH weekender in November if anyone is interested?

Should hopefully have Alien: Isolation waiting for me when I get home from work. Looking forward to giving it a go, but despite my love of horror films I'm an absolute wimp when it comes to horror games.
