I wasn't going to buy this again, but it's payday and the shops are on my way home from work. I don't know if I can restrain myself.

Anyone picked up the Master Chief Collection? The online multiplayer is broken beyond belief, and the single player is riddled with bugs, but damn am I having a good time with it. The remade cut scenes for Halo 2 are absolutely stunning.

I'm all up for Zayn getting the call up, just as long as he stops that bloody awful skanking.

I've heard it on a few US indies, although that tends to be after a sequence of chain wrestling so it at least makes some sort of sense. Seems Brit crowds do it whenever it takes their fancy.

I made these in muffin tins instead ot the normal 12-slot yorkie tin. They rose like triffids!

Made toad in the hole for the first time the other week, and used a roasting tin. The stuff wouldn't stop bloody rising, and the underside of the sausages ended up undercooked. I still ate it all though.

The problem down south is finding a place that does decent chips AND decent gravy, it's always one or the other. Last place I tried gave me something they called "gravy sauce", which was a thin watery onion gravy. No use to anybody.

Only decent place I've found was in Winchester, and that was because a Northern mate tipped me off about it.

The new Civilization game is out tomorrow. Guess that's the rest of my year sorted.

I don't even have gravy on my roast because it's absolutely vile.  I realise this will make me seem like a mentalist, but as far as I'm concerned you're all repulsive for even touching the stuff.

If you have a PS4 and you're not using it to play The Last Of Us then you're wasting your time. It's about the only Playstation exclusive worth a damn at the moment.

What about this new craze of burgers and hot dogs on brioche buns - anyone tried those? It's all a bit too middle class for me.

A 5 Guys is opening in our town centre next week, I'm pretty excited about it because I'm a sucker for American dinner style places. They have that Coca-Cola gimmick where you can have over a 100 different styles of soft drink- I fucking hope one of them is Root Beer.

 

Burger presses? Fuck that. Use your hands, crack an egg open and use flower when shaping the thing and get messy while you're doing it. Then whack it on the George- job done.

Those Coke machines are bloody awesome, the cherry coke out of them takes just like it did back in the 90s when it was sold as "Cherry Coke" rather than this "Coca-Cola Cherry" nonsense. I think they have orange Coke too, and peach Sprite. It's my favourite invention of the 21st century.

There was a "Netflix going bankrupt" one doing the rounds too. People just read the headlines and then share it. Reading an entire article, or god forbid doing a small amount of research, is beyond most people.

I don't listen to Colt's podcast anymore as he's too annoying, maybe others feel the same.

Yeah, I stopped listening to it. He's dumb as a box of rocks.

On the subject of book reading, a friend of mine was being a sanctimonious prick about reading the Game of Thrones books. Turned out he'd just listened to the audiobooks - that doesn't fucking count!

Watched Pink Flamingo last night as I haven't seen it in years. I don't know why I bothered. I've never seen the appeal of the film. Are there any fans of it here? If there is, what do you actually like about this film?

Does anyone else suffer with motion sickness when playing certain games? It all started with Goldeneye on the N64 then with Turok and Doom. I pretty much avoid any first person view games but for some reason the driving on GTA V knocks me sick.

I'm fine if I'm the one playing, but watching anyone else makes me feel terrible.

Went a bit mental this weekend and ended up buying an Xbox One with Forza Horizon 2. One of the best racing games I've played in ages, and there seems to be an insane amount of stuff to do. I've put in about 15 hours and completed 10 or so championships - there's over 100 of the bloody things to do.

Was there ever anyone good on the mic in ROH?

I quite liked Bryan when he was a pirate, and Homicide because he's OG as fuck.

Briscoes too cause they talk funny and swear a lot.

Rollins was absolute turd on the mic back in ROH, miles better now but he's still got a ways to go.
