Does anyone have any hidden gems on the original Xbox they'd recommend? I picked up the 1st Buffy game for 20p and it's bloody good, especially for the time and I'm thinking of starting a little collection. Jet Set Radio Future is gonna be the first game I properly keep an eye out for, what a game that was.

I just bought JSRF, one of my favourite games of all time. I've heard the backwards compatibility on 360 is a bit wonky though so might have to dig out my original Xbox.

Gun Valkyrie was great on Xbox, you should pick that up if you get the chance.

The commentary is the one thing I really don't enjoy about Progress. Especially as it seems to be mixed so high, and sounds atrocious when they start shouting. Callum done good, but I'd just rather no commentary at all.

I can't stop playing the new EDF game. Such dumb fun, but its a blast especially in co-op. I'm told there's some missions where you get to pilot a giant robot, can't wait to get to those.

 

So I can't be the only one that gets disproportionately annoyed at that weird "one fall" thing everyone parrots during the introductions at literally all of the Brit Wres shows these last couple of years.

Yeah, 5 year old me would rather take live action Dino-Fighters over poncey feely cartoon. But my favourite films were Chucky, Aliens and The Goonies when I was a kid so I'm not sure it's a fair representation.

I thought that was a part of most young boys upbringing? I remember some of my favourite films being Robocop, Die Hard and Predator thanks to my dear old Dad. Almost made up for him being gone for months at a time and beating the shit out of me with his slipper. 

You need to watch 'On Death Row' too which is like a sister piece to Into The Abyss.

Decline of Western Civilisation is getting a box set release at the end of the month, pretty excited for it. Part 3 has been impossible to get a decent copy of as far as I can tell, so will be a treat to have it on blu-ray

That Rare Replay is an absolute bargain. Only cost me £16, so far I've spent 14 hours collecting everything in Banjo Kazooie. Only 29 more games to play through.

I'd agree with those points. Must be a hard position to be in though, as those UK promotions are the ones FSM are targeting to take out adverts in the mag.

Overall I really like the balance of articles, there's been a couple on historic Japanese matches and shows which I've loved. I was never part of the tape trading scene so its opened my eyes to some great classics I've never heard of.

That was a staple food while I was at uni. Stuffed crust sausage pizza, mozzarella sticks and wedges weekly for about 3 years.
