Refused

Quite a few Rev Pro shows I went to have some interesting match-ups looking back. First one that comes to mind is Ospreay vs Okada in Reading in 2015.

Finally got my first booked in for next Friday. Might take the day off work and get a haircut beforehand, make a proper day of it.

Watched Return of the Living Dead 3 last night, and now I'm sad I don't have an undead goth gf.

Had some Squares for the first time in years the other day. Is it my imagination or are they thicker/crunchier than they used to be? Wasn't a fan.

Was always a massive Xbox fanboy, but that's completely changed this generation. Especially as someone into Japanese games - Yakuza, Persona, Nier. Been some great ps4 exclusives. 

Really hope Microsoft can turn things around, at least they have Battlegrounds in the near future. That game is a phenomenon on PC, be interesting to see how it does on console. 

I finally got round to watching The Godfather trilogy, only took me about a decade. I would rank them - 

1) De Niro sections of Part 2

2) The Godfather

3) The rest of Part 2

4) Part 3

After three years, I finally finished all 25 films in the Zatoichi boxset. I don't think there was a bad one in the bunch, certainly a handful I didn't enjoy quite so much but every single entry had something going for it. 

People complain about too many sequels and remakes these days, but they released 25 Zatoichi films in 11 years. An insane pace.

Her whole channel is incredible. I recommend the lasagne one, a true abomination. 

Never had a problem with a Rev Pro crowd personally, so hopefully you'll be fine! 

Managed to get out of work 15 mins early, so I should just about make it to the venue for bell time. 

I had a burger with peanut butter in the other week, it was wild. Got charged extra for bacon though. All burgers should include cheese & bacon by default.

All those WWN shows are so far out of town.  I'd like to go, and maybe I will, but getting back to my hotel from there at 3am will not be fun.

I was staying quite close to them, until they moved the shows. Not that they bothered letting paying customers know, I had to find out second hand from a Facebook group. 

Yakuza 0 is out on Tuesday. No sign of it for Europe though despite various sites saying it was coming out so pre ordered the US version.

 

Can't bloody wait. Yakuza 80's style.

The physical version is on sale, like, everywhere. No preorder on the digital version, but it'll be on the UK PlayStation store on release day.

My copy arrived Saturday, and it's excellent. The po-faced gangster story mixes really well with the sense of humour in the game. Quite a lot to do as well if you dug into it, maybe not quite as much as previous entries in the series from what I've seen. That's no bad thing though, as there's plenty there and it doesn't feel overwhelming.

It's annoying that bell time is 7pm for the London show, being a Sunday, I'm bound to miss the end.

I have a lovely rail replacement bus to look forward to. Will be home at 2am if I'm lucky.

Tempted just to knock it on the head, use the train fare for a pizza and watch ICW instead.

Went to Canada the other month and had so much poutine. Burger King? Side of poutine. Takeaway pizza? Add an order of poutine. English style pub? You better believe I ordered the bacon poutine.

Being a chubby bastard I was pouring with sweat just being sat in work. Can't even wear shorts due to ill thought out teenage tattoos.

Luckily my flat never gets any sunlight, so at least it's somewhat cooler at home.

Obviously I can't read, as Sexy Dad already mentioned it. Rose's sister died recently though I believe, can't imagine he's in a good place at the moment. 

Only the PCC election in my area today. Helping out with the count, it's pretty fun and a decent payday considering I've mostly sat on my arse eating the free biscuits.

Not sold on Bailey at all, but then he's only about 12 isn't he? Plenty of time to improve. Not surprised he's taking more bookings over here after his visa fuck up in the US.
