  1. Hi WyattSheepMask,

We don't sell one off Crates at this stage (we will down the line once we have a nice collection of left over stock from previous month's Crates, but this will be limited to set times per year). However, unlike other Crate and Loot services, we are 100% obligation-free, meaning that you can sign up and cancel straight away - therefore only paying for and receiving one month's Crate. You can cancel, re-activate and even skip a month very easily from within your account upon sign-up.

    Thanks,

    Richard

  2. Hi Ryan,

The short answer is 'hopefully'. We start shipping on the 18th of each month which should ensure UK boxes get to UK customers between the 20th and 25th of each month. However I'd hate to promise delivery pre-Christmas as there is a very real chance that the slower postage impacts the speed our stock arrives to us, how quickly the Crates arrive to you or even both.

With that being said, should stock arrive late on our end, my team and I will be working night and day to do everything that we can to hit our Dec 18th ship date (which the Royal Mai tell us is in time for Christmas delivery).

    Thanks,

    Richard

  3. Hi all,

Just to let you know that there is four days left to sign up if you're looking to become a member in time for our December Crate.

Enter the code UKFF10 at checkout to get 10% off your first Crate.

I'll post the contents of December's Crate in here a week or so after it's release (so as to wait before posting spoilers) to show what this month's Crate contained. What I will say is that it's a good mix of exclusive-to-Wrestle-Crate items as well as branded stuff.

    Thanks,

    Richard

  4. Hi TheGameHHH,

Possible - but it's some way off yet. The reason Wrestle Crate can offer the best, 'brand' content is we hand-pick an item (as opposed to taking somebody's left over stock that people didn't buy) and then we buy so LOTS of the same thing. If we were to split a DVD order into say 50% DVDs and 50% Blurays then the cost per unit goes up, meaning that we can't put as much other stuff into the Crate. Personally, I want each Crate to be a mix of really good content as well as excellent value for our members.

It's an option down the line but I wouldn't expect it in the next month or two.

    Thanks for your interest man,

    Richard

  5. Hey BradyIsGod

Thank you for your interest, my man. We certainly do take Visa Debit (that's my bank card of choice too). A very small handful of people have reported the same thing previously. It appears to be down to Stripe (our payment processing company) having super strict security checks in place which on the rare occasion declines cards incorrectly.

Have you tried again since this morning? If so, did you have luck the second time?

Please email me (info@wrestlecrate.co.uk) or hit me up via the Wrestle Crate UK Twitter/Facebook if you're still having the issue. I'll grab some details from you and look into it personally :)

    Thanks,

    Richard

  6. Hi again Edgehead,

Do you mean more UK content than not UK content or do you mean more UK content than the US-based variant?

I'll answer both; the mix of where the content is from will vary. I said in the opening post that my intention is to have the best British wrestling represented in the UK and US Crates, ensuring that I utilise the popularity of Wrestle Crate to support pro wrestling close to home. With that being said, our first crate featured three UK items and five non-UK items, making it "more " non-UK. If I'm honest, that wasn't an active decision, and something I've only really thought about now.

If you meant more UK content than the US Crates then I'd say yes, although that isn't a hard and fast rule, just what I anticipate. In time there will be UK content in both US and UK Crates - we're actually talking to some promoters, wrestlers and creative people to get some exclusive-to-Wrestle-Crate items in there. But generally speaking, if I don't think the cost of importing a certain items represents great value for our member's hard-earned money then I'll substitute it; possibly with a UK-based item (example: this month we replaced a Young Bucks coffee cup with a PCW DVD).

No offence taken at all, my good man. That's the beauty of the mystery box; some months will feature content that is exactly your cup of tea and others not so much. I'd be a fool to be offended by that. As I said when we last spoke though; I genuinely want to listen to what our members want (as it happens, I actually sent a survey to members this week and asked that very question on our Facebook page no more than 30 minutes ago), so please feel free to email me (info@wrestlecrate.co.uk) or use this forum to let us know the type of content you really want to see.

    Thanks,

    Richard

  7. Hey KurruptZhun,

Good feedback, and great to hear another opinion like this as I too am often dubious too so it's good to hear that I am not alone in that.

For what it's worth, we generally only deal with the wrestlers directly. Partly because we want to give back to the people who sacrifice their bodies for a market that we are now trading in but also so that WE can trust that they are legitimate. The only exception to this is when we go through somebody's manager or suchlike. As a rule we never ever deal with autograph traders or online merchants selling autographs. We go to the source.

Although it is perhaps the worst evidence of all time, if you hit me up on Facebook or Twitter I'll happy send you the photo that Reby Sky sent us while Matt Hardy was signing the promo photos for us. I have never posted this online (as it's a pretty boring photo of the back of Matt's head) so I can't dump the URL in here but happy to share.

It may also be worth noting that not every Crate will feature an autograph. Next month's Standard Crate currently (and things do change quickly) looks like it will not have an autograph inside. I can't say the same for the Ultimate Crate though.

As I say, thank you for the constructive feedback and for the best wishes. Just give me a shout if you do have any questions.

    Cheers,

    Richard

  8. Hey WestLondonMist,

Yeah, although it isn't the be all and end all, we do aim to get great value into the Crates. There was at least £55 RRP of content in this month's Crate, including some items that were either 100% exclusive (The Boss shirt, artwork) or limited edition variants of a product (Funko) which are more difficult to find.

I'm not sure how much this counts as Mexican, as he made his name in the US, but our American counterparts (before we joined the team) had Chavo Guerrero Lucha Underground merch in a recent Crate. Throughout 2016 I personally intend to have as many countries represented in both the UK and US based Crates as I can.

Toys and collectibles are polarising, to use a WWE cliche. Personally, I'm not much of a collector. But I know a LOT of people who are. The beauty of the Crate is the mix. I love that people haven't loved one item and been "meh" on the rest. Lots of people have loved lots of different items. Oh and all of the autographs are of course hand-signed and we purchase directly from the talent, not third party autograph distros. When I hand-pick and subsequently buy stock I want to put money into the pockets of wrestlers, good wrestling promoters and trustworthy creative people (artists and suchlike).

If you ever have any questions just hit us up here or on Twitter @@WrestleCrateUK and I'll be happy to help.

    Thank you for the interest.

    Richard

  9. Hey Krytie.

Thank you very much for taking time to write up your thoughts on the first UK-based Wrestle Crate. We really appreciate the kind words and the support, both of our new venture and of the magazine.

As a fan of the magazine, you may be interested in a Wrestle Crate exclusive in a Crate very shortly.

Regarding the rebill date on the 23rd - if you ever want us to push that back a week to save you the hassle just drop us a line at info@wrestlecrate.co.uk and I'll happily sort that out for you.

    Thanks again, my good man,

    Richard

  10. Hi Freebird,

The retail price of the Crate's contents does, absolutely. We buy enough to bring the total cost down but if you went and bought the contents of the Crate from Amazon, wrestling promotion's websites, etc you'd definitely pay a lot more.

I'm actually just putting the finishing touches on the first UK-based Crate's content today and I've estimated the RRP of the Standard Crate at £28-£32 and the Ultimate Crate at £54-£59 if you bought one of each item separately. The £5 discrepancy is due to one particular item being a Wrestle Crate exclusive, therefore with no definitive RRP, so I've looked at what companies selling similar things charge.

I hope that this helps. There is three more days to sign up for the November Crate.

    Thanks for your interest,

    Rich

  11. Hi Edgehead.

Thank you for coming to check out our US counterpart. You're right, it's totally a lottery in the sense of the mystery element. For me personally, the charm lies in the unknown element.

The originators of Wrestle Crate strive to deliver both a diverse mix as well good quality content in each box, always ensuring that it's contents value is significantly more than the price of the Crate. We will continue with that ethos but one of our aims is to have our own influence over what goes into the Crates each month. With that in mind, I encourage feedback and suggestions of content you'd like to see more or less of.

    Cheers,

    Rich

  12. Hey Ralphy.

Absolutely. When you order, once you've picked your Crate type you're asked to select your shirt size.

The only caveat which I'd add is that we cannot absolutely guarantee shirt sizes on the off chance we get a huge influx of orders in one size of tee after we order them. Based on the seven months that we've been doing this in the States, this almost never happens! But I'd rather you knew how that worked :)

If you have any other questions, please just give me a shout. Thank you for checking it out man.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi guys.

Wrestle Crate brings their service to the UK and Europe, without needing to pay such high shipping and import fees.

I don't want to give you a sales pitch or bore you with all of the details from the press release. I also appreciate that a mystery box of wrestling loot isn't going to be something that everybody wants to spend their money on, but if you do find yourself buying wrestling tees, DVDs, autographs, figures and other collectables each month then this might be something you'd dig. The purpose of this post is to simply let you know what it is, why we're doing it and answer any questions that anybody may have.

Crates start at just £11.99 with shipping at £5 within the UK. You can read more or sign up at www.WrestleCrate.co.uk

Better yet - as an exclusive bonus for the UKFF faithful, if you enter the promo code UKFF10 at the checkout you'll get three FREE autographs inside your first Crate!

I've posted some further details below if you'd like to read them. If you have any questions, please just give me a shout.

    Thanks for reading,
