Ohhhh.. I will still check those out with an open mind, but Kool Keith gets on my tits a bit (he was pretty good live though).
You need to check out Dr Octagon - Dr Octagoneacologist, fucking great hip hop album.
I really like Half Sharkalligator Half Man, http://youtu.be/wfrShCSEg9E

My fucking arms are bigger than his legs, I swear my thighs are wider than his waist. He must only weight about 8 stone soaking wet.
-
Some of the Max Normal stuff is excellent, with rhyming and flow that remin me a lot of Kool Keith, Die Antwoord still has some excellent lyricism about it though.
-
It may not be Spieder-Man and more likely to be Deadpool, who looks similar.
The Crow doesn't need rebooting, in the same way it didn't need sequels or an awful TV show.

I wouldn't bother with Commando drinking game, just get drunk and watch Commando. Everyone's a winner in that situation, you could follow it up with Running Man or Total Recall whilst carrying on drinking.

Wait does this mean David has gone? He was one of the few who spoke sense in the MMA threads.

Fourteen more bands to be announced next week for Download, including 2 second stage headliners. There's still not been any bands officially announced for Sonisphere yet though.

All 3 of the ...Your Own Damn Movie books are incredibly interesting and entertaining. He breaks down that person's role in making a film and gives a lot of hints and tips on how to do your own micro budget film making.

Their cover of Sabotage by the Beastie Boys is pretty good. Though it's a track that doesn't really need a cover.

You say that like Roger Corman isn't still making films.
Â
I try and erase the made-for-SyFy Crabosaurus v Mega-Donkey shite that he produces these days from my memory on a daily basis
Sharktopus is a hilariously bad campy treasure. As long as you don't watch the TV edits of the films there's some good stuff in there.

There's a documentary called All The Love You Cannes, about them going to the Cannes film festival to get distribution, which doesn't paint the company in a good light at all. Aside from Lloyd, who's mostly great, every single person on that crew is indescribably obnoxious, violent, and happy to ruin people's days and property for a laugh.
All the Love you Cannes is a very interesting documentary, the big problem with it is they do the entire thing on a shoestring budget, so the people who go are unpaid interns. So the one guy was just a complete dick who didn't want to work and spent a lot of the time dicking about. The whole documentary was more about how to promote your own films on an international market with very little cash. Lloyd Kaufman's books So You Think You Can Direct/Produce are extremely interesting and informative, whilst being very entertaining to read.

Announced on facebook and Twitter, here's the full lineup for Download this year. http://yfrog.com/kfz6kqvj
-
Well each seaosn is basically just 3 film length episodes and the first one really helps to set up the characters who become more integral parts of the second.
-
Next Monday, the 16th. In a simialr vein has there been any news from Sonisphere for this year's lineup.

The thing is it's 30 odd billion as the projected budget and that's just for stage one. So I do see the London to Birmingham getting completed in 15 years and it will go massively over budget as well as being late, it's the British way. Though the idea that you could get on a train in Edinburgh and when you leave the train you're in France is a great idea, never mind all the freight that could be sent abroad on the line as well. So I'm all for it in principle, just I know it's going to put together by a load of incompetent cowboys looking for a way to make an easy buck.
-
Never mind the actual financial boost it will bring in jobs, not only for the construction of the line, but the rolling stock as well as staff for it once it's fully up and running. The idea is to start with London to Birmingham, eventually making it's way up to Manchester then onto Edinburgh. Having a hig speed rail system as the spine of the country is a great idea, the problem is how well it actually goes once it's gotten up and running, since this country doesn't have the best record when it comes to rail travel.

I've been signed out quite a lot lately, especially on my phone which is annoying when I'm trying to skive.

ATDI makes me happy, I was really disappointed by Mars Volta. I'll be listening to one armed scissor and rolodex propaganda in the car when I finish work.

That seems fair I hate poeple who do that.
I usually do, unless I can't be arsed, but this one wasn't me, and 1 day suspensions are the standard punishment for quoting a huge bunch of text just to add a line of your thoughts at the bottom, so it was probably that.
Why suspend people then don't tell em why?
Were you quoting like an idiot?I got 1 day suspension last week and never found out why? Any idea Rick?

Digital watches make you look a bit remedial though, like you can't tell the time properly. I did get bought a heart monitor watch, but I can't stand the rubber strap on it so it never gets worn.
-
That's the one I wear most of the time, though I do also have the all black one of these, which was a birthday present from the mrs last year. http://uk.nixonnow.com/watches/mens/the-axe-A322.html

She used a body double, you can tell it's not her during the underwater scenes especially.

Frankie is utterly wrong Piranha 3D is a camp, tongue in cheek bit of joy. I was seriously gutted I never got the chance to see it in the cinema. I honestly can't wait for the sequel Piranha 3DD, starring the Hoff and Ving Rhames with a shotgun leg.

Me and the mrs at a burlesque show last night, it will be the last time I have a drink for 6 weeks, so I needed to blow off some steam before I ramp up the training.
