  1. For you guys using AceStreams/Plexus make sure you protect yourselves with a VPN as it's P2P streaming so you're dropping your IP out there for anyone to see. Cracking deal on StackSocial atm for VPNUnlimited, worked out around £21 for a lifetime acc with them, been using it for 6 months now and it's been perfect. Android/Windows/Apple apps available for it too.

  2. Had a few Android devices in the past but always end up jumping back to Windows for Kodi. Currently running my own custom "build" based on the Titan skin on i5 laptop which just lives behind tv. Just seems to run much smoother. Noticed addons like Exodus/Specto/Salts returning more links via Windows than Android too. Highly recommend using a trakt.tv account too to sync your viewing between addons/creating watchlists etc.

Any people on here using paid subs for sports/live tv? Free addons just dropping a lot in quality lately. Vidtime's decent but seems to be more focused on US/CA sport channels.

  3. ^^ Good shoot. As with other guys wanting to remain on good terms, he holds back a little. Great story about him and his dislike for Hornswoggle on it though haha! Description of the rat scene is brilliant too.

  4. so who went to Download? how was it?

I quite enjoyed it this year, definitely a lot smaller crowd-wise, but the bands still brought it. Only saw a select few bands so can't judge on the rest.

Friday started things off great for me, Crossfaith, who I'd never heard much of, came out and surprised me, with a ridiculously energetic, punishing set...complete polar opposite to the next band, Powerman 5000, crowd didn't seem to respond well to them and in return the band didn't look too thrilled, could notice it in their performance, good throwback hearing the old Dudley Boyz and MLW themes though haha! Skindred picked up the ball afterwards though, great set, one of the best frontmen out there atm, got the crowd doing a huge DL sized Harlem Shake, plus had everyone taking their tops off for the Newport Helicopter, I happened to be heading to the crapper at that point, turned back around to face the stage and was taken aback by the sight of thousands spinning their shirts over their heads, looked insane from the back. Black Label Society on after them, Wylde solos and punishing riffs as expected. Took a break after that to sample the food around the arena, horrid pricing as always,

  5. Just downloaded the Kega Fusion Mega Drive emulator...holy fuck! It's like my childhood all over again, getting majorly pissed at Ghouls and Ghosts but loving it...Streets of Rage II and Shinobi up next haha :) Never tried an emulator before, bit wary of things like that incase they fuck my laptop up but so glad I plumped for this one, bloody fantastic!

  6. This really shocked me in a big way, takes a lot to render me speechless, but when I heard about this from his family, it shocked the hell out of me. The 2 years that I knew him, he was a far cry from his "Terminator" gimmick when we talked, one of the nicest guys I knew in wrestling. Yet, one of the nastiest, toughest motherfuckers inside the ring.

He had his demons as I'm sure some will know, but I never thought it would come to this. R.I.P big man!

  7. anybody playing madden on 360 this year I've just bought this years game and was thinking about joining an on-line league. I've never done it before and really want to try does anyone know of a uk based league that would let a beginner join?

I know it's not a UK based tourney but give Gamebattles a try, list yourself as a free agent, post on the forum saying that you're after a team and see if anyone will pick you up :) GB is part of the reason I still play shooters and FIFA, makes it a little more competitive lol xD For Madden, there's a singles ladder and a team play ladder, might be worth a shot on the singles to meet a few other good players and then team up :)

  8. Just finished Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Actually that's a lie, I got so pissed off with the final mission I decided to fuck it off. It's a fairly decent point and shoot game that requires some level of intelligence for tactics (and I do love tactical games) but it really fell short in terms of story (I just couldn't give a fuck and skipped the cut scenes), graphics (mainly the cut scenes and not the game play. It looked like it was on PS2), and the length of time to reload from checkpoint. The last point in particular was incredibly annoying, especially those difficult missions where you had to restart a few times. It would play part of a cut scene which you couldn't skip through and a load of on screen bullshit as to where you are, time of day etc. I just wanted to get straight back into it. The last mission in particular really pissed me off. Yes the mission was hard but I had every intention of completing it, but having to wait 20 odd seconds before actually getting stuck in again each time just got incredibly tedious.

I have a few other games to get started on but not sure which one to go with yet. I have Killzone 3, Rage & GTA IV. GTA I'll just play every now and again I imagine, having played through it twice before. And I will more than likely purchase Arckham City soon, and maybe the last Assassins Creed also.

Have you tried the campaign on co-op, much better with a group like, plus thanks to the new title update today, online multiplayer is MUCH smoother, less lag, people actually dying when they get hit lol, only thing now that annoys me online is people who don't use mics...it's a tactical shooter ffs...lol. Went into a Decoy game, went 52-7 overall and my team still lost cos the rest were headless chickens constantly getting hacked going for objectives, not listening to me lol xD

  9. Just got Counter Strike: Global Offensive today...perfect example of a PC game that should never go to console...very sluggish gameplay even with sensitivity turned up, glitches everywhere too...gutted I spent the points to get it, think I'll stick to GRFS til new Rainbow Six drops :)

It's a game from 1999, Valve have kept it close to the original vision with only a few visual tweaks and extra weapons etc. It's really not meant for the modern console gamer but personally i think it's great, it's simple, doesn't hold your hand and thankfully won't be full of 12 year old Americans as they can't play it without all the bells and whistles of CoD and BF3.

Yeah, I can see how some love it, I'll keep trying occasionally with it like, but I'll most likely stick to my PC for CS. Definitely agree it's not for CoD players though haha, they'll be like deer in the headlights when they play that.

  11. Currently enjoying Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on Xbox atm, got it when it came out but the servers were awful, seemingly better now, a good hybrid between CoD and GoW, cover system is great too, much better than previous GR games.

Also grabbed Tony Hawk's HD too, good for a lil while but limited...DLC coming soon though :)

Anyone got Sleeping Dogs yet? Any good?
