  1. Aye, add me to those who were utterly bricking it at the prospect of drowning on Labyrinth Zone. Worst one is when you hear the music getting faster and you're waiting for one of those frigging bubbles to pop up and it's a second too late!

Sonic Mania has really done a great job of capturing that vibe like. The reworking of the classic levels is great and then the new levels hold up quite well with them.

Though I still hate the bonus stages. Rage inducing bastards that they are!

So I need some new games so has anyone played or have thoughts on the following?

Crash Bandicoot (reboot) - I know its a remake of the three originals but is it worth picking up? I had the originals back in the day.

Gran Turismo - I know the new one came out today, but any good? I loved the originals back in the day but do kind of feel it can be repetitive.

Pro Evo - Always was a Pro Evo guy growing up, heard the latest is heading in the right direction, is it quite there yet?

Played the hell out of the Crash remake, still as addictive as it was back then.

GT: Sport beta was enjoyable, though will never hold a candle to the majesty of GT3. Still worth picking up though for sure.

As for ProEvo, gameplay is always improving (going by demo as not picked it up yet) and they really have put some work in between releases unlike Fifa which feels just like last years' bar new kits and league licenses.

    I thought the very same.

I'm a very casual viewer and don't know the ins and outs, but there isn't any way the night king could be the zombie version of the mad king or anything daft like that?  His mate looks like a mulletted Tywin as well.

Aye I'd thought that too, especially with the main white walkers under him having long white/blonde hair, similar to Rhaegar/Viserys. It's probably utter bollocks and have nothing to it though.

FailedPromoter, that's some really good work! I'm going to have to give it a look.

I assume it'll be possible to install AllWrestling or WatchWrestling etc to it, and add it on, for recent episodes of Raw/Smackdown?

Cheers bud. It has WWE On Demand in it for access to the very latest Raw/SD episodes. Seems more reliable than AW and WW.

That build that FailedPromoter has looks interesting. Is it purely for WWE content?

It'll primarily be for the Network but has some other content in it. Sections on it are: WWE Network Live, WWE PPV, Raw, SD Live (205 Live in the submenu with it), NXT, WCW, ECW, Originals, Vault, More Wrestling (US indy/UK/Mexico/Japan + wrestling YT channels.), Movies (Exodus/Specto), TV Shows (Exodus/Specto), Other Add-ons (UK Turk/Evolve/Bob etc).

Brief video I did showing it in use.

  6. As above, Jarvis working fine mate. Personally using that still.

But for under £100 you can't go wrong with the Amazon Fire TV 4K (2nd gen). Kicks the arse of any other box in the price range. Even a Firestick will do the job just fine (my only gripe with them was overheating all too often.)

Anyway, been tinkering lately with the WWE Network addon (account required) and knocked up a custom skin/build for my set-up to work alongside it. Miles better than using the official app solely for bypassing the ads as I'm sick of the sight of that annoying Tapout ad every 2/3 vids I go through. Has the usual suspects in it too (UK Turk, Exodus, Evolve etc).

If any Network subscribers use Kodi and want it, I'll hook you up.

  7. CavemanLynn is spot on. I had been doing it the other way round and seeing small progress, mainly cos by the time I'd finish cardio work, my body would be fucked for weights. Swapped over after doing some digging online and in past 4 weeks I've dropped 22lbs.

If there's an Xercise 4 Less near you, they've got an offer on til 10pm tonight on their site if you use the promo code "NOW", you get first month free (barring an admin fee of £15-20 I believe) then each following month is £9.99. Only negative is a lack of pool, but I end up using my local pool for a couple of quid a pop once a week so it counters that for me.

  8. Anyone picked up Ghost Recon: Wildlands yet? Been playing it on XB1 and gotta say it's a brilliant game. Some people are miffed at lack of PVP atm but going through the campaign either alone or co-op with a few people is great fun. After GR: Future Soldier turned out to be a bit of a flop campaign wise, it's good to see Ubisoft hit this one out of the park.

  9. It's fine mate. It's just a counter measure done by the sites that are scraped from. Basically when watching via a source in Kodi, you're bypassing the actual site the stream is on, meaning they get no ad revenue or anything of the sort, which was affecting some sites as that's often their only means of income to keep it running. So places like Openload/TheVideo started this method. Once paired, it lasts 3 hours, then you'd need to re-pair it.

  10. The snakes were banned by Jack Tunney after the Macho Man snake bite incident. Think Monsoon mentions it during that WM8 match too as some juncture.

But WyattSheepMask is probably also right in that he would have been smacked off his tits anyway.

  11. If my set-up was just for me I'd probably go the free route as I'm generally only fussed with live sport (plenty individual streams come game time) but in terms of keeping the Mrs and the young'un happy, I see it as worthwhile paying for the things I use within Kodi (more reliable live channels/kids tv etc). Works out around £100 or so a year for me and it keeps the Mrs from asking me how to do everything on it haha. Pays for itself in that regard!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8B-eDY4QfY This is what I run, UltimateMania for live tv (UK/US channels and the Sport on Demand stuff shown), On-Tapp TV guide and Real Debrid/Trakt connected to Exodus to keep my TV and Movies organised. (Trakt is free and is a belter to have for any Kodi user, keeps your watchlist and episode progress synced)

  12. He can just make a dummy amazon account and put it on the stick. It just needs an open account attached to the device. So if you want to avoid giving your details, just whip up a dummy acc and give him the details for that one.

  13. I used to love spaghetti bolognese and had it for months, every night. I had to stop when every time I took it, I vomited it back up. It was very odd. I loved it as well. Think it must have been the Dolmio sauce. Years ago now, but I ain't risking it. Mumzie would make it with some really greasy mince too. Must have been too rich for me.

I had this problem as well, even when making it myself. I too put it down to it being too rich haha as I go mad with the ol' Dolmio. The one thing I found which helped was breaking up a couple of Oxo cubes in it while cooking. Never had issues hoying up ever since.

  14. If you're not using P2P style streaming (AceStream/Plexus), then a VPN isn't a necessity. Stuff like SportsDevil for the most part will be perfectly fine as you're just receiving the stream, not simultaneously uploading it as is the case with P2P.

As for other alternatives, I don't use many free add-ons as I use a paid Kodi addon (haven't the patience to be jumping around for links and just want my channels to work there and then haha). But stuff like UK Turk, Moneysports and Phoenix are decent options along with SportsDevil.
