  1. Public Enema - ECW's partying tag team delve deeper in to the extreme.

    Rim Powers - @Scott Malbranque's hero.

The Hung Dragons - Natural fit for their true leader, Jimmy Wang.

The Young Cucks - Having taken inspiration from the Woods/Maddox dynamic, the Cucks find new use for their YouTube channel.

Razor Damon - Hill swaps the monotonous punditry of F1 for a stint in the ring.

Brush - Always using sweeping takedowns on opponents.

  2. I use it mainly on Android TV and also via my Win10 laptop. Both have start/finish markers for matches on most shows. Sometimes the odd obscure shows may be without them but generally 99% spot on.

Haven't seen PS4 layout so can't vouch on how different it is but both PC/AndroidTV apps are very user friendly.

  3. Aye picked that set up for my little'un for his birthday this week. Though he was a little disappointed there wasn't any actual cereal in it! So now the figures are in the ring and friggin Cheerios are in the box! Cracking set for the price though!

  4. After perusing XWT-Classics, I ended up getting a hold of all the old Wrestling Challenge and Superstars weekly shows. Nearly all squash matches, but it's amazing how easy it is to consume compared to the long winded shows we get these days. Me and my young'un have been watching these shows pretty much all week and have loved it, yet we can barely get through a whole episode of Raw nowadays.

Also amazing is how they make every match, every moment and every promo feel important, Heenan and Monsoon are on fire every episode. Cracking stuff.

  5. Finally hooked Kodi up to my NAS drive (for Heat/Thunder/Wrestling Challenge/Superstars etc) and the WWE Network addon signed in (no ads to put up with as opposed to the official app/site!) for the main widgets and Network live stream. Got a few more bits to add but loving how it's grafting so far.

Question I have though, what addons are decent for movie and tv series these days? I used to use Covenant but that seems naff for me now.

Yeah I seem to remember him using it during his singles run. In fact, I can't think of any other moves he did, other than his little boxing shuffle.

Aye, he didn't seem to have anything that stuck out, despite on these home video releases touting his as "most improved athlete" and the like. Obviously that just ties to how much they tried to put people over back then. But seeing that sleeper put on Herc, it just completely threw me.

It's great seeing a lot of these tapes again. Hoping Fan Favourites from '89 goes up at some point, lost that tape years ago. Decent one with matches "requested" by fans, including the sure fire 5* classic, Koko B.Ware v Brooklyn Brawler. Though there was a class Perfect v Santana match on that too.

  7. Watching Supertape '92 and Alfred Hayes has a segment named Call of the Action where he goes into detail on some holds, including a sleeper (though in this case it's the Million Dollar Dream, but that goes unmentioned). The example shown on the vid is Virgil slapping it on Hercules of all people and putting him to sleep.

Had Virgil actually used this much at all after the split from DiBiase? Not sure if it's my mind just blanking but I can not ever remember him using it in the feud with MDM or onwards from that. Just looked so odd him putting it on Herc.

  8. It's amazing how much it's changed over the years. Benn watching some of the home video classics, in which they constantly put over the importance of superstars "ticking the win column" or "going home with the winners/losers share of the purse money". I love little nuances like that.

Now it's pointed out pretty much that no-one could give a shit and as said in this thread, it mean fans don't give a shit.

    I miss the 80's/90's.

  9. Bashed in the USA '93, fucking amazing. Mr Perfect showing his interest in bloody stamp collecting, searching for the perfect stamp. Shawn Michaels v Kamala followed by 2 other HBK IC title defenses and a 40 man battle royale. Love seeing some of the jobbers that turn out in those. This is me set for the bloody week. Just reinforces how great the Network is for the price.

  10. First thing I hoy on is WrestleFest '92 and within a minute, Gene and Bobby discuss the differences between tennis and table tennis. Heenan slaying me with "Let's play table tennis, you play with a Chinese guy and he brings you egg rolls!"

Imagine that flying in todays' product. Amazing.

No sign of UK Rampage '93 featuring such classics  as Luger Vs Jim Duggan,Doink Vs Kamala and Backlund Vs Damien DeMento.

It's on the list of tapes due to go up on Monday. I posted the full list on last page mate.

Can't wait for those classics. Kamala v Doink just sounds utterly delightful.

Some belters on there like, the old Rampage tapes were class IIRC. Warrior teaming with Undertaker on one of them blew my mind as a young'un.

I would like Scott D’Amore to approve my ranking of the members of Team Canada:

    1) Bobby Roode

    2) Johnny Devine

    3) Eric Young

    4) Petey Williams

    5) A1

I'm biased because this cracks me everytime, but A1 should be higher, solely for the story D'Amore told about him on Talk'n Shop.

Skip to 13:20 for the story, then 20:50 when D'Amore gets A1 on the phone, can't seem to set timestamps from mobile app.

  14. Madden 16 was the last really good one gameplay wise for last gen consoles, they've tinkered too much with 17 and 18. 18 especially is horrendous on Franchise mode, more so if playing as a sole player. Playing as a receiver is nigh on impossible.

As Chest says, it's fell into that bad yearly pattern, similar to FIFA.

  15. My list is a little similar, with a couple of Kiss/Motorhead songs making it into top 10 for me, in amongst the Mrs' ravey techno shite. Only allowed as she has to "put up" with me playing Kiss stuff all the time on my guitars or when I blast them on the sound system. She hates them for some mad reason.
