I suppose I should throw my hat into the ring with the Women of Wrestling Podcast. I know women's wrestling isn't exactly that popular, but some of the stories you hear are pretty cool, especially ones Sweet Saraya tells of going blind, wrestling while not knowing she was pregnant and almost being killed by gypsies at a show.

A heartbreaker.

I sold the copy of FHM she was in for

New York had it pretty shitty during the depression, didn't it? Daleks in 1930 making pig slaves, and statues sending people back in time...
-
Because I can't walk it's been lots of TV for me recently. I've been watching 'Pawn Stars', it's weird... like a frightning ghetto version of the gong show. There's a woman in it (with my bloody name as well) who works there and she is the most unbearable shit. Seth is a good dude though.
You mean Hardcore Pawn - Pawn Stars is a different show, based in Las Vegas instead of Detroit.

I think Ashley is pretty cute.

It's not youtube but here is Ted DiBiasi's WWF debut from mid-1987

It's not. He was wrestling in the WWF in 1979.

Bought a Nerf gun to cause havoc at work.

RVD had some sort of agreement to debut after Eric Bischoff bought the company, but the deal dragged on, and then never happened.

In the latest issue in the Wrestlemania review Fin writes alot of fucking annoying smarky shite.
Â
Example,
Â
He's talking about the backstage segment with Johnny Ace and says:
Â
"John Laurinitius then said his team's victory would be a Wrestlemania moment greater than Stone Cold tapping out to Bret Hart. He didn't mention that Stone Cold was bleeding heavily at the time. The WWE doesn't want to remind viewers of it's strict no-blood PG policy."
Â
So fucking snarky and nerdy. Such a knob.
In his criticism, Fin also seemed to overlook that Austin never tapped out, which was the point of the match.
-
That's completely brilliant.
-
That was really cool, and beautifully creepy.
-
That's amazing.

After not giving her a second thought for about 3 years, I googled Julia Bond recently.

1) Being a cowardous bastard letting myself get the run around by a woman for three years of my life.
Sounds familiar.

When I was 19, I was given the come-on by a hot girl at university. She would seek me out at the Union to dance and talk to me. Now considering I was in my afro and Hawaiian shirt phase this was puzzling, as I was easily the uncoolest person there, but she found me each time. One particular night, after a mountain of tequila, I decided that fortune favours the bold and went for it, finally kissing her while My Heart Will Go On was playing. That should have been the low point, but it got worse.
Â
Four days later, we bumped into each other again, and I was expecting a repeat of the weekend, only to be hit with the bomb that she never really fancied me and that she wanted to get with one of my best friends at the time instead. Being an insecure fool, I agreed to put in a good word for her - it turns out he wasn't interested. I kept in touch with her just in case she ever changed her mind, as was her personal lapdog for about a year. I helped her get a show on the student radio station, I bought her drinks on nights out and even helped to set her up with ANOTHER of my friends when she revealed she had taken a liking to him - he wasn't interested either. I constantly kept setting myself up for falls with this girl.
Â
It took me about a year to get over her, then I met up with her three years after I graduated, completely over her by this point. What followed was she got in contact with a third friend of mine and they got together, bought an apartment and were in a relatioship for about 4 years before going their separate ways.
Â
Louise, I love you and hate you in equal measures. Easily the most maddening and wonderful woman I have ever met.

Rita would have made a good future assistant if not for the whole dying thing.
Didn't stop Freema Agyeman.

I'm fairly sure it was from his match with Davey Boy Smith at One Night Only 97.
I don't know when it was from, but I know for sure it wasn't from One Night Only.
Â
While I'm here though, does anyone have the ONO theme music or know from where I can download it?

I'm having so many problems with my HTC Desire at the moment. It keeps overheating and restarting, only to get stuck on the bootup screen, requiring a battery pull. This happened 10 times during one day recently.
Â
I sent it back to Vodafone to fix it and they returned it to me, saying a software upgrade should have solved the problem. I was using it for 10 minutes and it overheated and restarted again.
Â
Giving them one more shot to fix it before I start with the letters.
Â
Anybody else had this problem with their Desire?
-
That's utterly amazing.

Random thought rolling on from current events but did Savage ever wrestle Roddy Piper in WCW ? Sounds like an obvious yes but the more i thought about it the less and less i can actually pinpoint anything.
Yes, at The Great American Bash 1998, after they lost a tag team match to Hollywood Hogan and Bret Hart. The match lasted less than two minutes, with Piper winning.

Forget it, RJ answered it ahead of me.

I stumbled across the Facebook of Lee Davey from Big Brother 3 who was a semi-closet wrestling fan on the show - we have a mutual friend. He's got pictures of him at WrestleMania this year with a replica WWE Title belt. He may be up for some wrestling chat, or he may be too far below the Z-list for you.
