"as a trainee work as many shows you can no matter how shit they are. You can train as much as you want but the real learning happens in front of a crowd." James mason 2012.

Shitarse promotions are a necessary evil. To give wrestlers who are not ready to be booked elsewhere experience.

I see where this is coming from, but the idea of Shitarse promotions being necessary bothers me

New guys need to get as much experience as possible and when first starting out and taking free jobs is a great way to get that and make a name for yourself. However this doesn't have to be with shitarse promotions. Who are only picking you because you are wrestling for free , where everyone else on the show is a shit arse and you are working with shit arses who will give you shit arse advice and you are never going to learn anything other than how to be a shit arse (over used that now i think)

On the other hand there are plenty of promotions who will give hard working, promising , less experienced guys a chance on their shows to work with guys (or girls) who can help them reach another level. (one example I can think of is Southside)  whether that is being paid a small amount of working for free.

Couldn't say it any better - the problem is when guys have been wrestling a few years and still working for free !!!!!

I always pay everbody but if I feel somebody is new and earning there stripes then will be on low wage that would get adjusted as they improve.

Take 'The Pledge' who works for me , pretty new to the business but I see huge huge potential in him , he has been training for little over a year and looks fantastic - also only 18 years old !  So for myself he has had the opportunity to already wrestle X-Pac , Soldier Ant , El Ligero , Stixx - people that are only help him improve. He is then in a faction with Joseph Conners , Jimmy Havoc and Kay Lee Ray - all of whom will help him on his journey.  Truthfully I think even if I didn't pay him it would be worth his while but going to wrestle for some shit arse promotion where he will learn nothing - whats the point ?

Simular things could be said for Dan Moloney and Tyler Bate at fight club - both so young yet so good - that's due to FCP giving them that opportunity at such a young age - something that many other promotions are benifiting from.

if a guy is new and willing to work for free and get an education then cool , but still working for free another 12 months later shows they have no value in there own ability.

  2. Nostalgia Nonce let me ask u something Do you have kids? or does anyone here have kids, if so How would you feel if they were getting the same treatment as I am getting from all you?

Adam - you are not a child though

From what you say you are a fully fledged Adult so why do you keep comparing the situation to bullying a child.

Please think long and hard before replying - you are an adult right , you are sensible enough to make Adult decisions - like for example running a wrestling show

  3. Series 3 as I said before

Its not jokes is it, its bullying. I mean look at the title of the thread, free tickets for UKFF That is not going to happen, its lies. PowerButchi should not be a mod or deserves to be a mod on here due to the threats he made, the bullying and lies he has posted. I could do a better job than him

BOWLER FOR MOD - C'mon man , everybody deserves a second chance :)

  4. You are not reserve for anything on the show. If anyone wants to be booked for future shows please contact the

LPW page. There is no MC match, no rumble, no pies, or any daft stuff. Please can we

    keep this thread professional.

    Real Kind.

If you want to buy tickets or LPW dvds please contact the LPW page.

The next match is Irish World Order vs The Silver Age.

Can you sell this match to me , who are they , why are they fighting - is it worth me buying a ticket ?

  5. This show does have public entertainment license. The insurance I have been told by a number of people BUT they could be wrong but wrestlers and promoters have told me they have their own IF I AM WRONG I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH THAT.

What rumble are you on about as their Is no rumble booked for this show

Hang on , you mean you have run 6 shows with out Public Liability Insurance - what if someone had got hurt ?

Mine only cost a shade over £600 , sure you have that stashed ok :)

  6. KotM match will be Jeff Jarrett v Eric Young v Bobby Roode v Drew Galloway v Matt Hardy. What's at stake is completely unclear. Thinking more and more this is just a way to generate some cheap internet buzz on probably their last PPV and that Jarrett will just go into their pointless Hall of Fame. Also Angle is on the poster for Slammiversary but doesn't seem to have a match. They better pull some major shit out for this.

Low Ki says on twitter he's done with the company too, want it to be an angle but feel I'm grasping now

    Isn't Angle wrestling EC3 ?

  7. I have spoke to Andy today and he has worked for hours trying to resolve this , I'm sure everyone will be surprised but happy when he announces the replacement.

The show looks great , Andy does not let fans down when it comes to international talent so just be patient :)

since i've been watching this again, about 8 weeks ago, Josh Matthews has been accompanied at commentary by Tazz, Tenay, Al Snow & now Elijah Burke with no explanation any time

Why is Elijah Burke back with TNA and just commentating? Last I heard wasn't he an extra on The Dark Knight Rises?
Yeah, but that wrapped up and was released a while ago.

I'll expand the question then mateyboy:

Since that movie has been released in 2012 has he done any wrestling related as it seems he name hasn't really come up since he left TNA.

And it seems a strange move though not an unusual one from TNA to go bring him back randomly like that

He worked for myself in 2013 and still looked great. TBH was always surprised ( or maybe wasn't ) that TNA dropped the ball with him. He was so over at one point. He has invested a lot in property over the years so does not need to wrestle.
