  2. It's sad but it looks like the end is nigh for Bryan. He's had a long career of fast paced hard hitting high impact matches. That takes it's toll on every wrestler, let alone one as small as Bryan. He's barely got any muscle to protect his neck and back, I'm not suprised he's in a right state. And he was one of the big names during the mid-2000 indy wrestling "every match needs hundreds of head drops" era. Can you imagine if the Brock Lesnar match did happen? It would have been a a genuine miracle if he didn't end up in a wheelchair afterwards. I think whoever said it above was right, an HBK style break is probably what was needed. 5 years or so off to heal and then a comeback. He's young enough to do it too.

He is 34 now , how old was HBK when he took his 5 years off ?

  3. Whilst I appreciate the promoter must have been stressed out of his tits, did he even think before tweeting this?

"PCW_UK: Hey @united need urgent help not an indian call center!! @Justin__Gabriel cant leave the USA? to come to UK never ever know this? DM me!!"

I can't imagine any service provider would start jumping through hoops to help, or point him in the right direction at receiving this request.

He had very limited time and was trying anything that might work. Big companies do not like adverse publicity on social media so chances are thet are likely to move swiftly which they actually did so maybe not such a stupid stroke after all - also bear in mind that Fludder was trying anything he could to deliver the talent that was announced and not let the fans down.

  4. Just a side note , I can tell you that Fludder was working around the clock trying to get in replacements and make sure the fans were not dissapointed , we were discussing into the small hours possible replacements and for such short notice I think he done pretty good. He tried some pretty ambitious targets as he really didn't want to let the fans down.

Also good luck to Lionheart tonight on his return to the ring !

  5. I genuinely have no idea, but my guess for the international mystery man is Johnny Gargano, who's here doing stuff for Southside and Tidal this month. He's also already known to PCW fans from when he came in to face Dar a couple of years ago.

I also reckon Lionheart's getting eliminated first round by Joey.

    Gargano has already home buddy.

I'm sure you will happy with the replacement ;)

  6. With just over 3 weeks to go and I still can't bring myself to be excited about this re-launch of Impact.

Maybe it's the old 'being burned' too many times by TNA in the past.

Apart from cosmetic changes to the show, I don't expect much to change, especially with what could be the same creative set-up, as said a page or so back. I'm expecting the stories/feuds to merely continue from where they left off on Spike TV (EC3/Spud, Wolves/Revolution, as hinted by the former, etc).

A chance taken to evaluate and refocus would be great going forward but I think things won't change at all. Pity.

From what I'm told EC3 is out for a fair while injured which is a shame.

  7.

    Great read this month :D

  8. I've been dreaming of a correctly used tag division since the Hardys, Dudleys and E&C.

Teddy, 2013 was a fantastic year for the tag division in WWE! Surely an example of the division correctly used. Tag teams have been dying out in WWE for a decade, last year saw a renaissance in my opinion.

There has been an improvement in the tag division but hardly anywhere near the glory years.

When I started watching WWF there was The Legion of Doom , Hart Foundation , Bushwakers , Demolition etc

  9. Pat Patterson is writing a book.

-Jim Ross on Pat Patterson: "I'm told Pat Patterson is writing his memoirs and after seeing much of Pat's photo collection from over his career I'm betting the book will be great. Pat has a tremendous sense of humor and was one of the best in ring performers ever along with being a tremendous wrestling strategist. Pat's journey as a gay man in a largely homophobic, alpha Caucasian male, good old boys network known as pro wrestling in the territory days is one of courage and conviction. I can't wait to read it. I learned a great deal about the wrestling biz and life from Pat."

    That should be amazing.

Seconded - would defo buy this !

  10. If you haven't read it already I highly recommend Hacksaw Jim Duggan's book its a really fun read, also the book wrote by Jimmy Snuka is a very decent read, very in depth and he talks openly about the murder case he was involved in which is an interesting read, whether you believe his story at the end is up to you however, I'm on the fence still.

    I have just ordered Hacksaw's

I agree with Herbie above regarding Holly's book . I actually enjoyed reading about other things in his life as well.

I red Lugers recently and wasn't to impressed tbh.

  11. Hey guys, shameless plug here, but I wrote this review of The Hardcore Truth if people wanna read it and give me feedback that would be awesome,

    Cheers!

I enjoyed it , furthermore I'm about to go on holiday with the book and my wife just read your review and now want's to read the book :)

  12. Just got Booker T's , Hardcore Holly's and Lex Luger's ready for my holidays.

They all seem very short and small compared to many other releases :(

  13. Slam Wrestling are doing a show around here soon. They any good? Their site is http://www.slamwrestling.co.uk Anyone there stands out as especially good/poo?

Poo.http://www.slamwrestling.co.uk/Lord Graham Thomas was the guy running that Midlands based promotion behind Corino's infamous "flight" details and the guy Kid Kash recently refused to work for after he hadn't been paid yet.Only other guy I've seen out of that lot is Rik Van Damage and he is a horrible, horrible RVD wannabe to the point it's cringe inducing.
And they remove my posters in Nottingham :(
