Neither will the next one in texas i guess. New york and especially new orleans are 2 great destinations. Couldnt we have mania in new orleans every year just for the nightlife.
-
Actually it is on the 28th June for tcw when Big Dave is booked, so he is free on that rev pro date as far as i know,
-
Chapter 18 will feature Jimmy Havoc defending the PROGRESS title in a 6-way elimination match! His five opponents are apparently four men with genuine claims at the belt, and a curveball.
Â
The first is due to be announced at 9pm, but I'm guessing Will Ospreay, Noam Dar, Rampage Brown, Dave Mastiff... and Paul Robinson.
Â
He will probably win again and then the belt will be up for grabs in the 16 man tournament in May.Â
Â
Surely he has to lose it sometime soon
-
Great show tonight, big crowd except for block 113.
-
Why were matthews & tazz commentating from a shed. Very low rent, someone should really put 50p in the meter for the lights.
-
Agreed what a match that was. Poor durrant looked a broken man in his post match interview.
Â
Adams looks a good thing tomorrow
-
I smell a swerve somewhere?
-
has the springslam weekender been confirmed yet ?Â
Â
i know they teased it with the kingdom  but wasn't sure
Â
Â
hope it is true because its just before when i'll be neck deep in dissertation so would be nice for a weekend away from it firstÂ
Â
It has definitely been confirmed, but no tickets on sale as of yet.
-
To say i have seen 4 shows in 3 days, i have got nothing bad to say about the weekend.
Â
Cole/Mastiff , Strong/London , Ligero/Ciampa , Gum/O'Reilly/Cole, Storm & Kirby were the standouts - only dud (Brodus vs Elgin)
Â
Honourable mentions to ACH & Alexander for that silence match this afternoon, Manson's gangsta impression turning rampage to bits, ACH (Top Dancer) & Bubblegum (Nice Fella).
Â
Shucky Ducky Quack Quack as Booker T would say
-
Match of the year uk wise was that last match. Just shows what a hot crowd, and a great backstory does for a match.
Â
Thumbs up from me!!
-
Got to say i thought Team 3D got possibly the loudest reaction of any import to come over. Just brilliant seeing them having fun with the crowd especially the use of Yaya/Kolo chant to their names.
Â
But even though obviously it was in the taking photos spot, that is the one match i guess half the people in the room were there for and should have gone on last.
Â
The 3 way, Ligero/Ophidian, Bubblegum/Kendrick were decent but the 2nd half felt a bit flat for me.
-
Sunday ROH show now confirmed
-
Team Single vs Team 3D at the September show just been announced.
-
It was my first time to see Progress as well on Sunday, got to say the amazing visual of seeing I can't remember if it was Havoc or the Riots but seeing 600-700 people turning their backs on them during the entrance and raising the middle finger to them was something to be seen,
Â
Can easily see Progress outgrowing the Ballroom place they are running, would recommend it to anyone to go and see. Â Â
-
I manage to tune out the crowd a lot of the time because some of the chants can be pretty unbearable to the point where they can almost ruin a show. Some of them are pretty funny, don't get me wrong, but it reaches a point where people are just trying too hard and it becomes borderline offensive. The "you fat bastard" chant directed towards Cyanide on Friday night, for example. I know he's a big lad and he's probably used to it, but the poor bloke was just standing in the corner waiting to be tagged in and suddenly a bunch of people decided to start on him. It didn't seem to have any of the underlying "love you really" sort of feeling that many of the chants are done with, either.
Â
Supershow Saturdays often seem to be the worst for this sort of thing when a fair amount of people in the crowd have probably been out drinking since lunchtime (or even since the night before, in some cases), and I know they're only trying to amuse themselves but there comes a point where you just wish someone could step in and have a quiet word. Maybe it'd help if they added "we love - and encourage - all the creative chants you guys come up with, but please keep it clean otherwise you may be asked to leave" to the bit at the start where they tell people not to use video cameras.
Â
I think it is the case as well of some people just wanting to get themselves over.

Team Single beat Legion of Boom
Bubblegum beat Mark Andrews and Kris Travis
Joey Hayes beat Danny Hope 2 falls to 1 in a best of 3 match
Â
Overall as a whole weekend it was a pretty solid 3 shows with the Saturday evening show being the best out of the 3.
Â
Highlights:
Â
Mark Andrews vs Travis (Night One)
Team Single vs reDRagon (Night One)
Low Ki vs Uhaa Nation (Day Two)
Team Single vs Legion of Boom (Night Two)
reDRagon vs Project Lucha (Night Two)
Bubblegum vs Mark Andrews vs Kris Travis (Night Two Match of the Weekend)
Uhaa Nation's music again with added dance routine
Al Snow in stitches over Danny Hope's trunks
Even Low - Ki getting the make a song up treatment
-
To add to the funny things for the night, the bellend who tried to pick a fight with bubblegum at the end of his match, bubblegum made him feel so small.
Â
If you cant take flack from a wrestler you should give up going.

Special appearance from PCW Heavyweight Champion Lionheart (?)
Â
I dont think there is a question mark, he will be there, the man has said as much on fb. Balls of fucking steel that man.
Cool. I knew he was coming to Preston, but didn't know if he would be appearing in front of the audience or just seeing friends.
Â
My predictions (though I didn't do too well with these last time):
Â
Lionheart vacates the title, which is then put up in the Rumble. Someone (possibly even the loser of the #1/#30 bout) puts in a marathon performance to take the belt, only for Joey Hayes (who might have been #30 but wasted his advantage) returns and cashes-in his briefcase, capitalises on a worn-out winner and wins the gold.
Â
See you all in a bit...
Â
Bang on the money mystic meg

Agree with the above comment about battle squad awesome, but it served a purpose like most of the stuff this weekend.
Â
Think some of the booing towards masters was because of some of the crowd wanting a british man winning.
Â
The manson/hope vs bennett/maria was just comedy perfection nice to see bennett/maria get into the spirit of things. Slo-mo chanting as well.
Â
Godfather what a nice fella, aj styles bit of a grump for me. But all in all another great weekend for pcw.
-
Looked like he landed on the back of his head/neck from a brief clip i saw on someones phone. Hope lionheart is fine.
-
Has anyone been to the specialist craft beer shop Beermoth in Manchester? I'm going to it in two months time and hope to pick up some rarities in craft beer if anyone can recommend something from its shop that would be most appreciated.
Â
Regards
Â
Tom
Â
I would definetely look for the 6 or so beers from de molen that they sell in the beermoth. Another couple i rated was fraoch heather ale and the thornbridge hall raspberry stout. Quite a lot of the expensive stuff is on the middle table but well worth the trip to it. Can easily come away spending a bit of brass but its rewarding.
-
A couple of good ales i've recently had from the Beermoth shop in Manchester if you like your strong beers:
Â
Thornbridge Imperial Raspberry Stout which is around 9% and DE Molens "Bommen and Granaten" which is a barley wine at 15.2% goes down a great treat. Also one i had in Bury this weekend that is from a new Bury brewery "Silver Street Brewery" called Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby like a red ale but very smooth.

The Final First Round match has been announced on Facebook (somebody do me a favour and upload the graphics!)
Â
Chris Masters .vs. Cyanide.
Â
Blimey that is a good match on paper
-
What were the results from the show?
Â
Martin Kirby beat Noam Dar
Team Single beat Allmark and Dynamite
Dave Rayne beat Manson, Hope and Bubblegum
Dave Mastiff beat Vader by DQ when Dave Rayne interfered
Addy Starr beat Leah Von Dutch
Doug Williams beat Uhaa Nation
Lionheart beat El Ligero
Kris Travis beat Joey Hayes
Â
Basically echo most of the comments that have already been said about the show. Good show but not outstanding like the Supershow, Ligero/Lionheart match of the night for me followed by Travis/Hayes and Kirby/Dar. As great as it was to meet Vader, sadly the match of his which in his q and a he thought Mastiff was nervous and the q and a itself which was a bit short lived 40 minute thing.
