  1. The A-Force is back in action in order to realise his destiny as he takes on Ali Adams in a 10 rounder next month. The masochist in me wants Harrison to win and then call out Tyson Fury and they can have a titantic tussle as Tyson Fury can join the real Clash of the Titans which is any combination of Harrison/Williams/Sprott/Skelton.

I hate Ordinary Harrison! Big bag of Wind & Piss!

  2. To be fair to Hankey, the crowd were giving him such a roasting. He usually scores a lot better than that, but the crowd can get to him at times. Anyway I backed him at the Bookies to win this year, I reckon the final is nailed on for him at least.

I actually thought that was a case of Hankey not having to do anymore than he was doing. Waites really didn't bring his game to the stage at all. Hankey didn't look rattled that much. He put up with much worse at the GSoD.

Last time i had a look, there was a fat bloke in pink, walking a stuffed dog?

Did you see the Ross Montgomery walk on? Jesus christ. What a dickhead.

    No, What did i miss?

  3. I watched hours of darts over Christmas & really enjoyed it. I cant watch more than 5 minutes of this BBC shite, without turning over. Last time i had a look, there was a fat bloke in pink, walking a stuffed dog? Dont know what was worse, His average or his gimmick. The BBC should drop this crap, You cant compare the two :( .

  4. I was a BDO loyalist for several years, but since about 2006 PDC really took over for me. Tony Fleet's appearance at the lakeside in 2010 was the final nail in the coffin as far as me giving half a shiny shite about the BDO went. Here's the first leg of Tony Fleet's BDO appearance for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I love the way that the only treble he hit, left him on a bogey number
  5. Early start for me this morning getting up to watch the Darts at 7am in Aus, and Ady didn't disappoint. He really has matured into a quality Dart player. He just doesn't know how to quit, and since his first round match against Nigel Heydon, he was determined to win another World title. Admittingly I'd wanted to see James Wade round off a superb Semi Final match, and at 5-1 up it looked all done and dusted. This will hurt Wadey even more so than his GSOD Final from two years ago against Scott Waites, it just has to.

As much as it was good to see a new face in the Final, I just wasn't jazzed up to see Hamilton play in it! Just another Dart player that just had a good run in a tournament. He hasn't consistently delivered in my opinion, and I would have preferred someone like Whitlock or Ando instead.

As for Hamilton picking up a wild card spot for the PL, well I don't know what he'll bring to the competition to be honest. It's hard to tell who Sky will pick. I was under the impression that the top 6 PDC ranked players were secured, and Sky get the final two picks, unless it's changed for this season. Would still like to see someone like Ted Hankey picked, purely for the pantomine each and every week. Say what you want, he's box office to watch. As the GSOD tourny progressed, the crowds did start to warm to him in his final match before being knocked out. Having Hamilton in would just be like having Webster in, no personality or any real interest. I'd go out on a limb and pick Michael Van Gerwen as one of them. Coming into some form, he can put on a display, get the crowd pumped up as he showed at the World Champs.

I'd give someone like Dean Winstanley another couple of seasons and he'll make the move across. As for Ted, it's now or never, and as Barry Hearn has alledgedly said behind the scenes this week, he'll only offer Ted a wild card via Sky if he makes a perminant move to the PDC.

Get Hankey & Nicholson. We need wankers in the PL (not just the ones in the crowd). If i was on a Desert Island with Kirk Shepard, One of us would have to die! To coexist is not an option

  6. If Hamilton plays the way he did in the Qtr Final, he's going to give Whitlock some real trouble. I can't see past Wade, but Lewis is one of them guys you can't write off. I think Wade will have too much steel for him in the end though.

I'll still agree with Whitlock vs. Wade in the final, but it's awfully hard to predict.

Wade for me! Just on the way Part threw the kitchen sink at him & he still refused to lose! Dont like much as a character though?

  7. Is it a bad dart crowd or a sign of how BAD society is getting?

    Bit OTT there.

Maybe? But it has put me off ever attending a live event! A few more developments regarding the drunken morons at the darts. Eric Bristow described the Part/Wade crowd as "A good, Loud crowd that were quiet inbetween throws"? That is 100% bollocks IMO & i rate bristow"s opinions usually? He has been in front of enough crowds to know the difference, Surely?

The presenter of the programme had a sneaky dig at Nicholson, When asking Hamilton if he was put off by the crowd & the cameras perving over the WAG. Hamilton said "No", Which came as no surprise! HE WON!

Then you had Jackpot, who i thought did brilliantly. Admitting the morons really put him off, But only really complained AFTER he won, That made him look like a class act IMO. Had he lost it would have looked like sour grapes (Nicholson?). At least now the problem might now be properly addressed, with the defending champion complaining, while still trying to defend his title? Then again, Maybe they will just let the morons keep wasting their money on tickets when they should have stayed in the pub or gone to football?

  8. Was pissed off for them booing part at a double, I go to PDC darts and really enjoy it but you attract some idiots.

Quite brilliant game and reminded me of that Taylor Barney final at the tavern. Each player just going back at each other and its what darts is all about.

Is it a bad dart crowd or a sign of how BAD society is getting? Years ago, they played to relative silence during throwing & regularly got bollocked off by the MC, for what would be laughed at today? The MC rarely addresses the crowd now, For fear of making a bad situation worse IMO?

  9. He was certainly worse than Chizzy, Last night?

He was worse than Andy Jenkins in the Grand Slam of Darts and still went onto win the tournament. He's still the best player in the world, which is why now he's out, suddenly people are saying the field is wide open.

Have you not bigged up Nicholson in one of your posts & wrote him off in another?

I haven't written him off though, have I? I've said I wouldn't be surprised if he went out to Huybrechts. I wouldn't be surprised if Nicholson won either. It's a close one to call, as both are clearly pretty good.

What I came on to say is this though... the crowd. This tourney more than ever, they are just ridiculous. They don't give a fuck about ANYTHING that's going on. That performance from Jenkins especially was a cracker, and it was just getting shat on completely. They were the same for Lewis/Jones too. Aye, the match featuring the champ.

    Ugh. Fucking morons.

But the PDC bunch have never been there specifically for the darts have they? It's always been about dressing like a twat and singing football songs while getting smashed. If you actually want to watch darts then you go to the Lakeside.

It pissed me off when they were shouting "OOOOOooooooohh" when Pipe was throwing as you could obviously tell it was putting off and cost him a set.

The morons are definately getting worse though! It was hard to tell but the night before, they seemed to be winding each other up like rival sets of Football hooligans? & What about when Anderson was playing Lewis in Scotland? That was a disgrace!

  10. Chessy?

Taylor was the way he was this time last year, and that made him beatable. He is not, however, worse than Chisnall, or anyone else for that matter.

But i cant see him getting by Anderson/Wade or maybe Jackpot?

Well, Wade and Anderson certainly have the game on a consistant basis. Wade needs to lift it just a tad I feel, but he's shown he can when he has to. Nicholson can as well though. There's a few players left that have the game to go far. And Nicholson has a real problem in the next round anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if Huybrechts, who gave Taylor a game when he was at his absolute best, walked through Nicholson and won the whole fucking thing!

He was certainly worse than Chizzy, Last night? Have you not bigged up Nicholson in one of your posts & wrote him off in another?

  11. He is only half as good as he would let you believe.

Is he half as good as the major trophy and two TV wins over Taylor would have you believe as well? As well as this mauling he's handing out to Tabern?

He's a terrific player. On a par with Taylor? Well... no. But who is?

Chessy? Nicholson is good, But i cant see him getting by Anderson/Wade or maybe Jackpot? He has played very well tonight though!

  12. No live commentary.

Is Nicholson still doing the CM Punk thing? It really is completely embarrassing.

He only half did it, But yes it is "completely embarassing". He is only half as good as he would let you believe. When he got his arse handed to himself after calling out Taylor a while back, It was even more embarrassing when The Power totally patronised him during the post mauling interview

  13. Thought the Eunbank debut was a little cringe worthy in the sense that it was built like it was almost his old man fighting & All Eubank Junior did was try to imitate him? I can understand why they did this, but even so?

Tyson Fury is no world beater, not now, not ever. I thought the ref jumped in a little quick, it was one of those fights were anything could have happened & both fighters should have been given every chance win that war. Fury may be an overrated, Gypo Nutter but you cant take away from the fact that his fights are exciting

  14. Good job, well done by Ricky Burns last night. He looked pretty relaxed and comfortable throughout.

George Groves, well it was a nice finish but not sure what else to say. He got the job done quickly.

Kirkland WTF !!! Never a dull moment eh ?

Totally agreed with your comments  . Kirkland!!!!!!! My God how did he pick himself up & do that! What a first round & what a gutsy performance by both fighters. Kirkland barely wasted a punch which i believe was the key to his win, That & having balls like grapefruits!

  15. Lewis destroys Golota.
Good Hagler interview. Love Hagler, great fighter, great look.
    hearns int.
I enjoyed all 3 links thanks  . I could not decide what was more dodgy? Hagler"s knee length white socks or the interviewers budgie smuggling shorts  .
  16. Jeezo, I'm a boring bastard who has lived no life.

    The only lowest points I can think of are;

    1) Being a cowardous bastard letting myself get the run around by a woman for three years of my life.

    2) Christmas party, after the function, outside the hotel, someone picked up the sandwiches and sausage rolls from the buffet inside and started lobbing them at me. I'm pretty sure it was martyngnr. So I pick them up and think, "Well, I'm not gonna take this" and lob them back. Only to miss him and hit some guy who was sitting inside a car parked next to the hotel enterance. If only he had his window rolled up. Got a right bollocking and being young and being in my first job and this happening in front of "superiors" in which case, the instigator of such activites was one, I felt very embarrassed and immature.

    3) Supporting Aberdeen.

So there it goes guys... I'm one crazy, weird mofo!

Sorted that one for you ;)

About 25 years ago me & my mates were pretty hardcore drinkers. We literally went out 8 times a week for a whole year (twice on a Saturday). We booked a trip on North Sea Ferries to Amsterdam, One by one, We all humiliated ourselves (two mates had a fight with each other in a cabin, one mate held up the coach as he left his luggage on the ferry, two had to sleep on the floor after i successfully nicked their keys & locked them out of the cabin). But the the most spectacular was done on the last night of the four day bender, by me!

Half of this i can remember, the other half of the story was relayed to me by witnesses. Me & my mate hit the sack in the early hours, well pissed (for a change) My so called friend said he was than woken by me, scratching at the cabin door in a pissed up/sleep walking state. So he did the decent thing & let me out!

I remember waking up at the other end of the ferry, wearing nothing but a pair of stonewashed jeans. Although it was the early hours of the morning, there was always loads of people milling around. In my almost unconscious state i remember these people pointing at me & laughing as i pissed my jeans with such a ferocity that the piss was penertrating my jeans, running down my legs & changing the colour of my strides a few shades darker!

As i regained full consciousness, i remember feeling a loneliness in my heart that was so depressing that i will never forget it. God only knows how i made it back to my cabin? I remember knocking on random cabin doors, assuming that i would get lucky? :(

You obviously gave up drinking after this incident, right?

When i read you comment i was chugging on a beer! Weird or What?
