R.I.P John Sillett. Coventry were always the local rival for the Villa in the early 90s when the other Midlands clubs were down in the lower leagues. I always had a massive respect for what he had done at Highfield Road and he always seemed a wonderful man.Â

Ricky Hatton in the weatherspoons in Solihull a few weeks ago. Loads of 18 year olds who probably didn't have a clue who he was going up for selfies. The bloke just wanted to have a pint. But to be fair he was brilliant to all of them.Â

Yeah nonsense they can be great evenings with right people. I've been to a fair few Villa's 82 European cup winning team I think 8 of them were there was awesome for me. But the best was a evening with Barry Fry just a Hillairious Character the type you don't see in football anymore.Â

I welcome Steve Gerrard to B6 and hope he's a total success. If I was a Norwich fan I'd say Smith is the perfect choice. I won't lie I think Deano is great. And if you get relegated he's the perfect man to bring you straight back up.Â

Yeah as a Villa fan the amount of injuries has been horrendous. However they are not performing at all well and I fear for Dean Smith's job which is a shame cause he is a very likable man. But truth is Villa are in relegation scrap and the very rich owners are only going to take so much after spending £300 million.Â

Lovely stuff.
Well as a villa fan I can confirm that Paul McGrath is definitely God. Love those amazing Ghanian Villa fansÂ

Already seen idiots slagging this off. Saying he had nothing to do with AEW. it's just a classy move. Again some wrestling fans are the worstÂ

With The passing of Don Everly. I thought I'd post this really unknown belter from the later period of the Everly Brothers. This should have been a massive hit for them

Don Everley (from the Everley brothers) has died aged 84, not a bad innings but not as impressive as his mother who is still alive apparently. I had a brief obsession with the Everley brothers in the early 2000s inspired by my not so brief Harry Nilsson obsession, the harmonies were really special and they had some great songs, Walk Right Back in particular is a banger!
Â
Â
The Everlys harmonies were devine. Along with Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry and Lonnie Donegan they were probably the most important influence on the sound that happened in the next decade. His rhythm guitar was so good (Keith Richards said he was the best he ever heard) R.I.P Don. There are not many of that original bunch of Rock n Rollers left now.Â

Just finally watched it as I worked until 2am and was just too tired. But I can't say anything that others haven't said. Just an amazing moment totally perfect.Â

My favourite promo that year was Heyman's against Vince just before the Survivors Series. Absolutely unbelievable

After well over a decade, I would declare that I am now departing the Aston Villa hate bandwagon.Â

Yeah I agree. We have been boring for a decade. Last season was the first I've enjoyed since Martin O'Neil was manager (except the promotion season)Â

As a Villa fan how come? 😂😂

Surely Flair Tully and Arn as a one off would be fun especially with JJ. But not in a full time role

Tom Heston's gone to Man United with a view to moving into coaching too. He's 35 but I think he would have still been good enough to get in a few Premier League teams at the minute.
Without a doubt. Would still be Villas Number one if it wasn't for the amazing Emi MartinezÂ

I'm not a big football fan but it strikes me the current England team are just that, a team. That's not something I've ever been given the impression of for the years I can really remember well, 98 onwards, and it was alway felt like a group of big names who all wanted to be the "superstar".Â
Is that a fair assessment?Â
100% the one thing Southgate has brought is a end to the separation of players by what team they played for. I'm Proud of that England team. I'm proud of there morals and Ethics. I'm disgusted by that certain element of supporters that are just vile.Â

No Terry Funk ...bullshit list

My worst one.Â
Was in the beginning of internet dating. Id been chatting to a girl on there her pictures seemed nice and we had got along so we agreed to meet. When I met her at a shit hole of a pub she had suggested. She arrived with her toddler son and was obviously on crack or heroin. Her son then started kicking me in the shins and saying 'I don't like him mummy' she then asked me to borrow £20... I got out as quickly as possible.Â
