Yeah I just switched over now. It's good TV, gotta admit. Get quite annoyed that so much news is London-based but I'm glad this shit doesn't go on in places closer to my heart. I like the idea of water cannons. Or maybe get Kurt Angle and his milk truck in.

I don't mind The Beatles. You know, they're just...there, always will be and it doesn't offend me. However, I believe Hey Jude is possibly the most overrated song of all time. It's terrible. The last five minutes are pointless, the first two minutes are lyrically uninspiring. I once read reviews from critics who labelled Hey Jude "engrossing", "hypnotic", and "astonishingly transcendental". Actually, it's just a pile of boring shite.

Are the mafia threads actually fun to play/read through though, if you know the rules? It seems like some sort of...procedure rather than anything entertaining. Not as entertaining as, say, that Diana at 50 thread.

How come they use White ring ropes for RAW? I know it's only a little thing but I much prefer the red ropes, and they are associated with RAW, so seems odd they now use shitty White ones. The red ropes still appear on PPVs now and again but not RAW

Because Vince liked the look of the white ropes on NXT, so gave them to Raw instead.

The ropes on NXT were yellow.

We've not had a coalition government in so long, and now it looks as though really the Lib Dems didn't push for as much as they wanted. The thing that does my head in the most though, is that almost everybody apart from die-hard Labour supporters dismissed the Labour stance on things up til the election. As soon as the election is done and dusted and the new coalition get a few months doing their biz, all of a sudden the same old idiots who we ousted - Balls, Andy Burnham, Darling, Douglas Alexander, Jim Murphy - are ALL on the television telling us, the public, that they are in the right and the new folks are wrong! If a party gets chucked from being large and in charge, why would you keep ANY of them in the frontline? At least Darling decided to take somewhat of a backseat. Ed Balls, thanks to his past, is now totally ineffectual to me and a hindrance to the Edward Milibandwagon.

Just watching this week's Raw and Cole and Lawler did a plug for Mick Foley's new book... Did I miss something or is that a little bit odd??? Anyone able to shed some light on this?

This has been mentioned over a few threads the last few days. It was plugged on SmackDown also, and there's even an interview with Foley on WWE.com for the new book. There's a thread about it if you have a quick look around. Foley and WWE seem to be on talking terms.

So how did it play out on TV though when this became obvious? Did they address it or just quietly bin it?

Did I blink and miss a ranking system for championship contenders in TNA or is that still going on, somehow? Or was it just a short-term idea? I just catch matches here and there, I don't watch full iMPACT shows because I don't enjoy headaches.

Question, can a UKFF poster flood a section with lots of threads based on a story or a game, even if only the people involved understand what's happening and would read the topic? Not that I in particular have any plans to do so at the moment, but if I did I wouldn't wanna clog up the forum with the same shit if it annoyed someone.

I've always liked Ed in interviews while he was doing the Energy lark, but he's got a hell of an upward struggle. Ed Balls is a prick but Miliband is gonna have to use him to his full prick-ish potential while taking it to the coalition government.

Didn't Jericho aim to hit Shawn Michaels though, and he just got out the way? On screen it wasn't as though Jericho was aiming to smack Mrs.Showstopper. It was an accident. Well that's how I remember it, can't be bothered watching it again. I liked it. Would it have been okay if Y2J put her in the Walls of Jericho and made her squeal like a little piggie instead?

Aye maybe it was actually. I just remember something to do with the UK version being brought up in the whole situation. Maybe they were going to keep it in but didn't. SmackDown is chopped up quite often for stuff a lot less troublesome than that usually anyway isn't it?

Hassan was fucking incredible. Mark Copani must have been shitting his keks every time he went out, because some of the reactions he got were insane.

Disgraceful, Hassan was brilliant. It doesn't matter if he had any 'decent' matches or not - when Santino was at his funniest and you wanted to see what he would come out with each week you knew you were never going to get a decent match, same with plenty of other people. It's all about character and he was different, he was a step up from the typical anti-American character, he was relevant for the time and he and Davari had perfectly fine arguments to make. And I always love JR almost exploding at the mere thought of the guy. With the reaction he was getting outside WWE it's disappointing they didn't give him a World title shot before they ditched him.

These are my two, I'm sure some will join in my the utter disappointment of the first one, a huge letdown at the end of the most mental and unpredictable Raw in history.

Both Haye and Harrison were on the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning, it was brilliant. They wouldn't sit in the same part of the studio together, wouldn't apologise for things they'd said and wouldn't confirm that they'd shake hands after the match (Haye: "It's a little hard to shake hands with someone who's being stretchered away"). It was all rather childish, more so from Haye who I thought had been a bit more respectuful to opponents up til now. Bear in mind I don't really follow boxing, that's just what I've seen over the last few days, he was being more of an arse than Audley on 5 Live the other day too.

The funniest part was Haye confirming at one point that he won't gang-rape Audley. He can't anyway, he's not the One Man Gang!

Maybe we "clownies" should just say 'You're wrong. Fuck off and die. I love Slipknot.' in every post if we want to re-create that genuine Mr Seven feel.
