  1. Wreck it Ralph and I loved it. One for the young at heart who remember Pacman and Street Fighter but with a simple sugar coated plot for the under 10s as well. In a world of rehashed 80s films and sequels going into double digits its nice to see a film like this with such a fantastic original idea. Loved the Hell No anger management type support group scene. Starts off really well but goes a little flat from then on sadly, but otherwise worth a watch.

  2. I remember Maxwell's rant but thought if he's responsible for the work then its understandable if what a customer requests goes against his principles. In the same way a chef wouldn't go with the customers designs of a dish, they get what they're given.

You do realise that your comparison of a tattooist & a chef is completely ridiculous, don't you?

Gone for the shoe story although the change in shoe size makes me go WTF. If you're using that analogy, it would be like a chef not serving a main course if you hadn't already had a starter.

    Pretty much.

Its amazing when Keith Houchen says it its not ridiculous anymore.

  4. Tough one but settled on the Photoshop Challenge, some of those efforts were hilarious and it really cheered me up at the time. Want to give honourable mentions to the how Butch lives, most round head and depression discussion if I may. Also to all those who put in a lot of work for ongoing competitions/lists such as FogDude, Gladstone Small, HarmonicGenerator, they've all been fantastic threads fellas.

  5. The Last Stand. If you can get past how wooden Arnie's acting is

To think i've never had a bad word to say about you until now..

When has Arnies acting not been wooden? its part of his charm.

It seemed more so than usual, especially when you have Forest Whitaker in the movie also. Huge gulf between the two.

  6. If Rock came back looking bigger than ever, then he's marketed all over the shop in a Cena-Rock II at Mania it would mean a definite end to the smaller guys main eventing. Ryback, Cena, Rock and Lesnar's success this year spells the end for the smaller guys. I hope I'm wrong!

  7. A lot of blokes could look as good as ShortOrderCook if they put as much effort in on fitness as they do X box.

    *sigh*

How often are you down the gym?

Gyms are too expensive for me, I do wii fit. I'm an x box widow so its just wishful thinking.

    Gold. Pure gold.

Oh yeah haha, I'd rather use the gym don't get me wrong. If you'd rather nit pick than see my point fair enough. My b/f got a Kinect this summer to lose weight, but no never uses it and spends hours playing Assassins Creed etc.

  8. I think the best thing about The Wire is how worthy it felt. It seemed really important, like you're watching really vital stuff and getting the secret underbelly of how society works (or doesn't). Watching it, you feel like you know more and are just better than the people who don't. It's a ticket to be in a special, superior club. It's basically a Guardian subscription for the price of one illegal download.

I think Breaking Bad might be better telly, but it might just be more recent.

No no no tell me I wasn't imagining things. That word was not best.

  9. How incredible is Brad Maddox?! One of the tidiest, most confident looking young guys to appear for quite some time.

My nephew has suddenly decided that Maddox is his favourite wrestler and I've no idea why. Normally Cena is the best thing since sliced bread to him. I've only ever seen him in squash matches. What have I missed?

  10. Watched 'The Campaign' yesterday, disapointing :(

Galifianakis really is a one trick poney isn't he?
    No.
His Between Two Ferns are good, especially the one with Bradley Cooper. Even if he is a one trick pony, its still funnier than Stiller who up until Tropic Thunder (which I still can't believe he was behind) hasn't changed for over a decade.
