I completely forgot about Bruce Almighty, fantastic feel good film. His Inside the Actors Studio is well worth a watch as well.
-
Watched Disconnect the other day which is basically Crash but related to modern technology and how much a big part of our lives its become. A cautionary tale and well acted by all, including Marc Jacobs of the fashion world and in particular a rare dramatic role for Jason Bateman.
Developed quite a crush on him in the process.

Thats awesome Astro thanks! Downloading now.
Â
Definitely his heyday films were all atrocious.Get killed!
Â
He'll never repeat the greatness of 1994. Ace Ventura, The Mask and ending the year with the masterpiece that is Dumb and Dumber! Aah...
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or haven't watched any of them since you were about ten.
I watch them every few years with absolute pleasure, Dumb and Dumber is the clear winner.
Â
Considering you probably watch RAW and Smackdown every week, I find your criticisms of my taste extra insulting!
Â
There's probably more decent films than crap films such as Eternal Sunshine, Bruce Almighty and of course the Cable Guy. Would being in Anchorman 2 make it all better?

Watched most of season four and five in the last week, so draining! The last few episodes have been probably some of the best tv I've ever seen. Emotional roller coaster stuff. The part where Holly's left with a note really got to me. It looks like both Walt and Jesse are gonners. Had to laugh at the Mr Magorium reference, I spent ages earlier this summer trying to find a copy of that DVD for my nephew and Walts got two!
-
I wish all northern towns were more like Chester. Had some fantastic little shops remember there being one pretty inconspicuous card shop having crazy swords and things in the back!
-
Good luck in your new job!
-
Thanks LaGoosh for putting it all together, it's spurred me on to want to watch The Sopranos and The Wire. Once I've caught up to Breaking Bad that is!
-
The Three Stooges... what was I thinking?
Â
About Sofia Vergara's tooters?
Larry David makes the whole thing bearable after my nephew forced me to watch it.
-
More shows that didn't make the top 50!
Rome
Â
I've had a few that didn't make it and Rome was one of them. The Newsroom that also ended up on this list but it was my number 11 choice. Adored the first series despite an annoying supporting cast. It's Daniels who steals the show time and time again. Surprised there wasn't more love for it here.
-
I miss Carlito but not the apple gimmick. Would love to have him return in good shape, and minus the afro as a much tougher character. I completely agree about the potential but with the right gimmick and the opportunity he could be the next Rock.
-
Well it only got one vote and the voter didn't specify.
Â
Sorry it was Netflix.
-
I don't know if I'm imagining things here, but wasn't there someone on here who had an almost psychopathic hatred of Punch-Drunk Love? Show yourself now so I can put you on ignore - it's one of the best films I've seen for years. There wasn't a thing about it I didn't love - until it finished and I realised how much like Barry I am
Â
If I hadn't seen the film I'd still despise Adam Sandler. It's such a beautiful film and I loved the colours used for particular scenes as the story develops. A similar film worth a look is the Station Agent which Id never heard of till I caught an episode online of Dinner for Five with Peter Dinklage in which they were raving about it.

Talking Heads
Â
Talking Heads was one of mine. For shame
Â
Â
Talking Heads- Mesmerising Monologues especially Thora Hird's Cream Cracker Under The Settee and Maggie Smith's Bed Amongst The Lentils. Utterly wonderful TV.Â
Talking Heads? FUCKING HELL. They were SO unbelievably boring. I remember my Mum watching them while doing the ironing and feeling like I was going to die. Awful. Just awful. Maybe now I'd appreciate it, but as an 8 year old it was torture, pure torture.
Â
Cream Cracker under the Settee was part of my GCSE English course *shudder*. Although at the time I thought it was original and really well acted, but so so bleak.
-
I'm sure you've all seen it by now, but if not, this is genius.
Â
Pure genius.
Â
Brilliant
Â
The "oh fuck off" cracks me up. Slightly disappointing that he won't use such language as the doctor but there's always a chance of a Comic Relief version where he might.
-
Watched The Heat which was great fun. It's not The Departed but entertaining enough for you not to really care. McCarthy is just a force of nature and has such great chemistry with Bullock who is surprisingly good in this.
-
The Internship - not quite your run of the mill buddy comedy but still fun, nice to see Vaughn and Wilson back together since Wedding Crashers they have great chemistry. Film's predictable yet entertaining with enough Google to make you want to set your home page to Yahoo!
-
People are actually going to turn up tonight?
-
An agency I have a good relationship with want to put me forward for a job that's the sort of thing I'd like to be doing in a year but I don't think I'm quite qualified for yet, what should I do?
Â
Depends on the likelihood of that sort of job coming up again in a year's time.
-
You have form for hating on Justified, Astro.
Â
I haven't seen any season 4, but 3 was wonderful.
Â
Astro is right, it probably isn't the best, but its not far off.
-
My first choices have already been mentioned but wanted to add
Â
Â
Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder, utterly disgusting but effective.
Â
Â
Terminator 2 T1000
Â
Honourable mentions for Dr Evil and the Master in Dragon *shudder*
-
So proud of my little man. I finally took the plunge and sent him to bed with no nappy on and he slept from 7.30pm to 7am without any accidents.
Â
Come back Friends Reunited, all is forgiven.
-
Its one of those rare shows where the supporting cast are outshining the main cast members time after time after time. The 4th series is fantastic not only for the development of those main characters but they certainly upped the ante on the humour (as well as the body count).
Breaking Bad - Season 5 part 2

Does anyone know which time is it on Netflix? Some are saying 2am or 5am. I'm eager to avoid spoilers so would rather watch it ASAP.
