  1. I do not know any people who I would call racist and do not add any person on Facebook that isn't my friend so it upsets me to see decent people posting shit from the EDL, SDL, the BNP of fucking Britain First. One guy thinks nothing of following a post about the Kriss Donald (the sort of stuff the poor boys mother wanted nothing to do with) by posting deep native American Indian script or that recent Real Men Don't Buy Girls campaign.

Another thing is that people younger than me who post that 'Who Remembers this ..........." pish. Fair enough if it is something like that "comedian" Slither from the mid eighties but Who Remembers Quavers! Really.

  2. Of the many wrestlers who have passed on too young only those of Bam Bam Bigelow and Randy Savage come close to how stunned I feel.

Similar to the Macho Man he seemed to be in a content, happy and peaceful place when he died.

    Rest in Peace Warrior

  3. Somebody did that up here in Glasgow on my Facebook list. A picture like that but saying that it was an outrage there wasn't a memorial to Kriss Donald on the River Clyde walkway. Pity there is and I've walked past it 200 times. He was quite insistent that it wasn't there.

ADDED: Really quite sick what they put that kid through.

I posted this on my Facebook a couple of months ago:

Though I love my job and have cherished the last seven years in this amazing job sometimes I truly feel that I am maybe in the wrong profession. I attended a course on challenging behaviour yesterday and was sickened by the "there is no such thing as bad behaviour" (from people with Additional Suport Needs) perspective. Should somethig happen it seems the onus; if not fiull blame falls upon staff. I thought I was an enabler; someone who assists young people with Additional Support Needs to function as part of an integrated society. Obviously I have that wrong too. I genuinely feel that I've been wasting my fucking time for the last seven years if that is the common and accepted perspective.

Five weeks later my boss approaches me and tells me a staff member had spoken to her. She asked why I made a FB comment mentioning my company (which I don't disclose), how much I hated my job and criticised the service we provide. I put all her concerns to bed by simply showing her my post and reiterating my feeling that having a "there is no such thing as bad behaviour from people with disabilities" is discriminatory.

The staff member who I think spoke to her re-posted that Kriss Donald RIP shite from the fucking English Defence League! Talk about strange priorities.

  4. I love Marston's Kentish Ale that retail in Aldi's for only a pound for a 500ml bottle.

Does anyone know why you can't buy cans or bottles of McEwans Pale Ale (60 Shilling) in off licences anymore? Pale Ale seems to be very popular and their Pale Ale is available in a lot of pubs.

  5. Surely Striker is better than Feinstein?

He's got to be. The only person I could imagine being worse than Feinstein is that No-Kayfabin guy.

That guy is the fucking drizzling shits. He conducted an interview which I say recently on YouTube that started "Sol uh. Long Pause. You did a shoot with KayFabe Commentries recently. Uh; errr. How did that go"? Talk about the perfect example of pop will eat itself.

Has Bruno Sammartino ever did a completely open shoot?

  6. More Lanny Poffo greatness.

    Lanny Poffo defends David Sammartino:

    An amazing botch:

Still has it at the age of 59 by utilising that age old wrestling trick of saying 'Yer team's shite'! Works too as the crowd really give him grief.

  7. At first I thought this was all a pish take. After searching to see if this has been posted before I present Brother Midnight.

Firstly what may be the greatest promo of all time:

Still pantless; Sweet Daddy Caddy & Brother Midnight. 2 men: no pants:

Many years before the Jobber Belt; an angle which I regard to be one of the greatest in Pro Wrestling history, it's Brother Midnight WINS, has public breakdown:

On a similar note; I'M THE BIGGEST LOSER!!! Brother Midnight vs. Tulip:

Brother Midnight promos w/some guy (some Motherfucker who seems to have mugged their TV champion for the belt):

Brother Midnight: Hard Times. The great man ripping the arse out of the likes of Jim and Tammy Bakker:

TNA need to resurrect this man. Fuck having a tournament in which the rules defeat the concept of having a fucking tournament in the fucking first place. Fuck waiting for a PPV and fuck even bothering with a title change. This man was born for the TNA title.

Finally an article in which the great man features:

  8. I really enjoyed Hardcore Justice apart from the repetition of spots in the gauntlet match and the stupid rubber guard rail that Funaki used. Are people really that upset that Taz wasn't there to piss over the show or to demean ODB who, in my view, is a completely different and underused talent.

TNA showed how they can sometimes suck dick on the last Impact. Following the final tag bout Daniels and Kazarian bout they cut from a potential break up or trouble within what are a fantastic team to needlessly repeat the finish - which I thought was brilliantly done - whilst wittering on like Les Dawson and Roy Barroclough. Then when they cut back and Daniels was raising Kaz's arm not one word was proffered. That is fucking pathetic.

Same as the ladder match at Hardcore Justice for that matter. Kazarian earned his pay with what looked like a series of painful bumps and, as someone said earlier, this was barely covered by the commentary team.

  9. I have a lot of old wrestling videos that I have just bought a video/TV combo for a ten spot to watch.

There is an ECW TV show numbered around 80 - 130 that ends with the following song played over highlights from a non ECW Arena show where there was a chairs into the ring incident where the Public Enemy (I think) were buried in white seats.

Anyone have an idea what TV show it is and what/where the show was from?

    Thanks as always

  10.

Fuck me; that spot at 03:52 is mental. Is that Clive Myers flying into the crowd? I have seen variants of that over my many years watching wresting but that is shocking; maybe because it was so unexpected within it's context and upon looking at it over and over the fans he flies over then into do not seem to be plants.

In fact here is the bout

I wish someone could post the great mans retirement bout from 1982. I always remember Dickie Davies mentioning that they were going to the wrestling at a few minutes before the usual time of 16:00 as they weere showing Mick Mcmanus' last bout and that they were interviewing him afterwards. They, quite rightly, made a big deal out of this and the interview was conducted in the dressing room after his bout - where he received a ten bell salute after the match. I seem to remember; bearing in mind this is thirty years ago and I only watched it that one time, done in a real life manner without any wrestling hyperbole. Would love to see it again.

    Thanks for posting that mate

  11. I can't believe it's seven years today since Chris Candido died.

Chris Candido Tribute Video - He looks terrible in the short clip from 02:04 yet seemingly passed away after beating his demons; something that upsets me to this day

It's also worth mentioning that today also is the eleventh anniversary of the amazing Lou Thesz's death. He certainly kept himself in shape as the follwoing short bout from when he was sixty four shows.

An even shorter profile from the mid nineties when the great man must have been touching eighty. Watching Stu Hart demonstrate always made me feel uncomfortable for some reason but Thesz seems a class act. The copy of Hooker; signed personally to myself, that Glen Radford managed to obtain for me is still a treasured possession.
