I don't even think it's really people that play the game that are mad, it's the right-wing 4channers that latched on to the novels and lore.

There was a moment last year where Twatters were up in arms about potential female Space Marines only to have an original WH artist rip them to shreds in comedic fashion, they stupidly called him a "tourist" and that he knew nothing about the game... until they realized who he was.

I was apprehensive about Civil War, not sure if it would go down the complete cartoon Trump route but it really didn't. Trailers didn't do it justice and just focused of the admittedly amazing action but it was everything in-between that also made it such a beautiful film, one of the best lookers from a pure camera work perspective I've seen in a while.

Cailee Spaeny is a star, single handedly made Priscilla good and added so much here, too.

Yeah it directly alters the code, I had some alternative device called the Xplorer on PS1 and I only ever used it to fuck with the Smackdown games. Like adding new match types that broke the game, somehow a barbed wire ropes one that looked awful and didn't really work..

I didn't have one till many years later and one came with a NES I bagged from Cash Generator, I like how they advertise one plugged into a bootleg cart here, probably one of Codemasters unofficial games.

Aside from barbed wire I'm not sure how many weapons are actually gimmicked, glass in mainstream wrestling definitely is but some of the shit in deathmatches seems to be legit.. light tubes definitely are and there are only certain sizes that many guys use. I think it's the thinner ones they usually stay away from as the way the break means you're more likely to just get impaled one on.

It does feel like a desperate attempt to get countries that were siding away from them to get back on board 'cause "Iran Bad".

I've only watched the first episode and to be honest all the "look! you know this from the games!" has put me off a tad, all that fan service isn't much different than lazy nostalgia bait to me.

That was a very slight return to form after a fair bit of middling to downright poor TV, and even then crowds were dead or tiny with no buzz around the company.

I'm not sure what the achieved aside from mockery and Punk chants, even in supposed context it's all embarrassing. If anything I hope this gets everything Phil related out of Tony's system and he can go back to trying to create a great alternative, because right now neither company is doing it for me.
