So I doubt his parents couldn't afford to have sky and send him to private school. I am sure they prioritised his education and didn't buy everything they wanted but I think it was a bit of a daft comment to make. I know some people will say it's a wasted vote but the more people who vote the more it influences others to vote for them. They could have more influence in future elections.
