TibBo Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 My mom actually had an option like this but it was a bit of a no-lose for her.At the end of the three years they could either choose to keep the stock, sell the stock, or just get whatever money they had invested back.So essentially, if the stock had made a profit you sold it and got a nice reward, or if it had made a loss you just asked for your money back (so all she would have lost was the interest on the cash if she had put the money right in the bank).Fortunately the stock went up pretty drastically over time and she doubled her money!
