Rabbi Rafael Halperin dies at 87

In the 1950's-1960's Halperin worked for Vince McMahon Sr.'s Capitol Wrestling.

I'm pretty sure he has the credit as the first to promote a wrestling event in Israel when he wrestled Abu Antar in the sold out Yad Eliyahu arena + the man never broke kayfabe :laugh:

Here's an item from 2008 where the reporter asks who won the match between him and Abu Antar. Halperin is going nuts when he says he won the famous match from 1973 and Abu Antar says it was a draw:
