Ant Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Considering buying a digital camera as going to few new places on holiday shortly, to date generally don't take many pics and if do used a traditional camera (take to shop get pics developed) or used my blackberry. Â Disc drive on computer at home is gubbed - would I need to use a disc for installing a digital camera or would it be like a blackberry, and just need to hook it up to a USB port? Â Apologies for such a basic question, but my ignorance/lack of knowledge knows no end!
Metallica Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Yeah USB would be fine and if not you could buy a USB card reader from Poundland and get your pics off the SD card that way.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted July 21, 2011 Paid Members Posted July 21, 2011 ^^^ What he said. Â Some cameras won't be recognised as external drives without software if you connect via a USB lead. Just stick the SD card in a reader to minimise fuss.
