knightmare Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 WAW have been part of an experiment alongside Sincil sports college in Lincoln to bring wrestling to children with behaviour problems. All week WAW have been holding training sessions with the kids and it has proved a great success, so much so there is talk of the idea being expanded to other counties. Â The kids were taught break falls and technical wrestling by WAW coaches and even many of the teaches and support staff joined in. Even some of the kids who were reluctant to join in at first were enjoying themselves by the end of each day. Â All of us at WAW enjoyed the experience and it was good for us and Brit wrestling that the Lincs council believe we can help these kids. For along time we have had football in the community so why not wrestling, judging by the success of this weeks experiment its could become a reality.
