Please note that it is fine to nominate when that nomination has already been made; this will ensure that the most popular choices go in for the final voting.Once all awards have their nominations finalised, then voting will begin. Please note you can only reply to topics in this board, you cannot start topics. Sure, here is the run-down from last year:winners and runners up...Wrestling Awards:Best Wrestler of 2001Steve Austin won this award with 45% of the votes. Kurt Angle, probably the WWF's most consistent performer gets a runner up spot with 21%.Worst Wrestler of 2001Despite only being on our TV screens for a very short time, the winner with 48% of the votes is Buff Bagwell. The Undertaker's terrible performances earned him a runner up spot with 27%.Best Tag-Team of 2001In an uninspired tag-team division, the WWF's Edge & Christian win this award with 31% of the votes. Runner up is the dream team of Benoit & Jericho with 28%.Worst Tag-Team of 2001The two teams involved in the worst match of the year (see below) dominated this award, with Kronik taking away the award with 48% of the votes, followed by Undertaker & Kane with 24%.Best Match of 2001Rather depressingly, this year's best match came in February and with 49% of the votes Triple H Vs Stone Cold - Three Stages of hell @ No Way Out was not bettered for the rest of 2001. In second place is 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin Vs The Rock @ WrestleMania X7 with 19%.Worst Match of 2001Taker, Kane, Adams & Clarke managed to burn their horrific performance into our retinas in 2001, winning them this award with 48% of the votes is their encounter (Undertaker & Kane Vs Kronik) from possibly the most apt PPV Title ever; Unforgiven. Booker T Vs Buff Bagwell @ RAW (July 2001) doesn't escape without embarassment with 25% of votes, gaining Buff 'n' Booker a runners up spot.Best Card of 2001Its hardly suprising, but the winner of this award, with a whopping 78% of the votes is WWF WrestleMania WMX7. Runner up is WWF No Way Out with 18%.Worst Card of 2001This is a close one, but the WWF come out on top with 37% of the votes for their post-WrestleMania PPV, Backlash. Despite being on its very last legs, dubya-see-dubya proved that it still had the ability to stink it up; WCW Sin follows Backlash with 35%Best Angle of 2001The hardcore ECW fans among us swung this poll, with The return of ECW winning by a large margin with 42%, with no clear runner up as such.Worst Angle of 2001Chyna's Neck Injury managed to ruffle our collective vertebrae with a comprehensive 46% of votes, with Vince McMahon's (thankfully) shortlived "Kiss My Ass" club finishing with 31%. Strangely, only 13% of us thought the (much anticipated/poorly executed) Invasion was worthy of this award.Funniest Moment of 2001In biggest Awards travesty since Titanic managed to fluke its way into Channel 4's 100 Greatest Films list, the Kamala/Regal Segment from WMX7 (22%) was forgotten in favour of the Austin/Angle/Vince Cowboy Hat Segment from WWF TV, with 39% of votes. Most Memorable Moment of 2001In a year of very memorable moments (for both good & bad reasons) The WCW Nitro/WWF RAW Simulcast wins the award with 39% of the votes. The return of ECW wasn't far behind with 33%.Best Face of 2001In a very close Poll, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin wins this award with 33% of votes. In second place, by a tiny margin of 3% is The Rock, who incidentally must be the only Main Eventer to remain a Face in the WWF all year.Best Heel of 2001'Stone Cold' Steve Austin has managed to net both Best Heel & Face for 2001, scooping this prestigious UKFF Award with 40% of the votes. HHH, despite being out injured for most of the year, gets runner up with 30% - well done turtle back! The Billy Gunn AwardWithout a hint of irony whatsoever, the winner, with 44% of the votes is Billy Gunn. Dissapointingly (for me) in second place with a mere 19% is The Undertaker, lets hope this result doesn't make 'Taker out stay his welcome anymore than he already has.UK Awards:UK Wrestler of 2001Doug Williams wins this award by a mile, with 61% of votes. No clear runner-up in this one, although Alex Shane is closest with 14%.UK Rookie of 2001Gaining an impressive 51% of votes, Jack Xavier wins UK Rookie of 2001, with James Tighe close behind with 38%.UK Match of 2001Thanks to Ryan Hewson, the WrestleXpress name is associated with rip-off. However, in spite of this, the Jodie Fleisch Vs Jonny Storm encounter from that very show ran away with this award, winning 70% of votes. In second place, with 21% of votes is Scott Parker Vs Steve Corino from FWA Trick Or Treat.UK Federation of 2001If you ever want an example of a "one horse race" please make sure you credit the UKFF in full for this one. The Frontier Wrestling Alliance wins UK Federation of 2001 with 75% of votes. NWA-UK managed to win 17% of the votes, on the sly.The UKFF's own Awards:Most Memorable Post of 2001The Questions For Mark (SST) thread wins this award with 38% of votes. *That* Russo Thread's position as runner up proves that 20% of us have a decent enough memory ;) Dolt of 2001 - The most idiotic, annoying person on the UKFF this yearUnsuprisingly, Rob McKay wins the award which no-one wants; Dolt of the Year with 41% of votes, which no doubt will take pride of place on his mantlepiece (providing he hasn't urinated on it). MackemMan comes in as runner up with 27% of votes.UKFF Feud of 2001In an incredibly close poll, Terje Vs SST (39%) pipped Segaboyno Vs MackemMan (38%) to the post for Feud of the year, which proves that money does indeed talk, while bullshit (and futile bickering) walksLOL Award - Who genuinely made you laugh out loud the most this year on the UKFF?29% of us say Dean Ayass had us laughing the most on the UKFF during 2001, with Segaboyno's quick wit gaining him a respectable 24% to claim runner-upAt, not With Award - The person you laughed the most AT during 2001Rob McKay finished ahead with 30% of votes, his prize; a proper place to take a slash. Tied for runner up are Segaboyno & MackemMan, with 24% eachMost Shameless Plugger of 2001In a campaign that undoubtedly lost him more customers than it gained, Sin's Vids wins the 2001 Most Shameless Plugger Award with 47% of votes. MackemMan, despite not having any Bah God thing in particular to plug, managed to garner 33% of votesSo to summarise, the winners are as follows:Wrestling AwardsBest Wrestler: Steve AustinWorst Wrestler: Buff BagwellBest Tag-Team: Edge & ChristianWorst Tag-Team: KronikBest Match: Triple H Vs Stone Cold - Three Stages of hell @ No Way OutWorst Match: Undertaker & Kane Vs Kronik @ UnforgivenBest Card: WWF WrestleMania WMX7Worst Card: WWF BacklashBest Angle: The return of ECWWorst Angle: Chyna's Neck InjuryFunniest Moment: Austin/Angle/Vince Cowboy Hat SegmentMost Memorable Moment: The WCW Nitro/WWF RAW SimulcastBest Face: 'Stone Cold' Steve AustinBest Heel: 'Stone Cold' Steve AustinThe Billy Gunn Award: Billy GunnUK Wrestling AwardsBest UK Wrestler: Doug WilliamsBest UK Rookie: Jack XavierBest UK Match: Jodie Fleisch Vs Jonny Storm @ WrestleXpressBest UK Federation: The FWAThe UKFF's own Awards:Most Memorable Post: Questions For Mark (SST)Dolt Award: Rob McKayFeud: Terje Vs SSTLOL Award: Dean AyassAt, not with Award: Rob McKayMost Shameless Plugger: Sin's Vids
