Cheers for the heads up! I'd not been keeping up since they done their shorter 12 days episodes over the last few weeks, but it looks like we're back on track with WrestleMania 23.

I wonder how the next few will go. I doubt they're going to stop becoming funny any time soon but even the guys have on occasion now foreshadowed the potential quality going forward by explaining how after a certain point WrestleManias just blend together.

There's still plenty of huge moments but older wrestling generally lends itself better to comedy podcasting. Most of the big boys have gotten blander as they've strayed into the bland.

I still find the show hilarious myself. The christmas shows especially were great stuff. Also loving Grado and Rab's Wrestling Daft podcast at the moment. Found myself chuckling like a mad man as Grado was ripping JR for his constant plugging of viagra and manscaping products. Would recommend to all.

They had a second series (you shit!) on the table last year, and I was at a couple of shows where Alex Shane was talent scouting.

I assumed that AEW would have put paid to that, but who knows? Maybe they did very well in syndication- I know that's something they were banking on.

I assume ITV own the rights to the WOS name, so it's not like they could be picked up by another channel that easily, could they?

'If you don't take it, Sky will!'

  3. The Englishman in Southampton has cheap pints, a pool table, a jukebox and a regular with one leg who cracks blue jokes all night. That'll do for me.

  4. Great show. First time at Progress and thoroughly enjoyed. The Doug Williams retirement was moment of the night for me. Executed to perfection. Everybody knew it was coming but still had us in the palm of their hands. Had a feeling Jinny would retain too which was what won me the prediction pot for the evening. Happy days. Hopefully Charlie Morgan now breaks away from the heel group and chases Jinny for the belt. Main event was decent. Shame the place slowly emptied as it went on. Dragunov impressed me. Would like to see more of him in Progress. Enjoyed seeing Mad Man Manson make an appearance in the battle royal too.

Sorry Ricky but I just can't forgive him for costing me 8 grand on an accumulator a few years ago after scoring a late equaliser. He'll always be a heel to me.
