Don't leave us hanging buddy, what happened?

As far as I can make out photographer, didnt turn up and got panned and named and shamed,

I really hope this wasn't me. I know someone's mentioned me to him before and I just ignored it. I wouldn't put it past him to get it in his head someone who never answered him is doing his show then blame them when they don't show up to a job they know nothing about.

Oh and Adam don't even think about PM'ing me because I've posted here. I don't want any contact with you.

  2. Did London go to the shop next door and buy sweets mid-Rumble, with a camera following him? Hahaha That is awesome. Definitely need to buy the DVD for this show.

Looks to me like the one across the street that sells all the American stuff which actually makes it even better. The fact London strolls out of a venue in a bright orange jump suit, heads across a busy main street and into a shop to buy jellybeans before coming back to ringside still eating the jellybeans is something that makes me laugh.

  3. Always been meaning to watch some New Japan but never got round to it, Anyone get any recommendations?

Pretty much anything NJPW have done over the last couple of years has been gold. Last years Wrestle Kingdom was a good watch. The IWGP Jr Heavyweight 3 way between Low Ki, Devitt & Kota Ibushi was a good match as was Nakamura/Sakuraba in the semi main event. The Main Event its self was extremely well built up but it's still a fantastic match even without seeing any of the pre match events. Okada's entrance made him look a mega star even in defeat. This years WK was good but because the crowd weren't buying into Naito as a top guy it didn't have the special feel that last years event did although it's still worth a watch for the Hirooki Goto/Katsuyori Shibata match and Tanahashi/Nakamura main event.

Recently Jushin Liger and El Desperado have been working together recently and seem to have great chemisty.

Nakamura was a guy I used to hate for some reason but last year his matches with Shelton Benjamin of all people managed to change that. Some amazing matches during that feud and on the subject of Nakamura this match with Kota Ibushi from last years G1 is a quality match which the crowd really get in to.

  4. Judge for yourself. Here is Jericho's first theme :

Here is the theme he was using at the time in WCW :

Yeah I did check wikipedia and youtube and only came up with those 2, but it's a good editing job. It doesn't sound like it's been edited over the video at all so it threw me a bit.

  5. Sorry if this one has been asked but was Jericho's first WWE theme an alt of a WCW one? I don't remember him using anything similar but I'm watching World War 3 1998 on WWE Network and Jericho's theme sounds similar to his early WWE one, but not actually the same and I don't remember it. I thought the WWE Network was unedited footage and WWE got the rights to WCW's music when they bought everything else.

That's two really unfortunate incidents with the Styles Clash. Amazing that he's went his whole career with only notable two incidents and two happen in the space of 6 weeks. I dont blame anyone. Just really unfortunate. I dont know if its a lack of communication between when he's dropping and the opponent getting ready, but Styles is generally known as a safe worker and the opponent knows what his job is in that position. Maybe its just the natural reaction to tuck your head, but its just a real shame either way. And I'm glad nobody is chucking blame out to either of the wrestlers, because its a shitty situation as it is without shit stirring over whose fault it is.

There was the one with SJK in 1PW as well. It's just one of those things where accidents can happen but unfortunately I've seen someone come right out after the show, get straight on his laptop and blast AJ for being reckless and not checking on Lionheart (which for all we know he would have done backstage instead of shitting on a feud without knowing how bad the situation was at the time), not just on his own personal Facebook and Twitter but to public pages/forums where anybody will listen.

  7. Gary Steele won the NWA World Champ belt he beat Ogawa i think

I wouldn't count RoH as a world title, either. Any promotion can have a belt and chuck 'world' at the beginning.

I wouldn't count it either but to be fair the RoH title has been defended in pretty much every country with a decent wrestling market. Admittedly not so much for the last few years but they did make a decent effort of it.

Power UTI can defend a belt at a DDT show, a KSTAR show, a NWA Wildside show and some moody Canadian promotion and it wouldn't make the POWER NIGERIA title (yes I made that up) a legitimate world championship. Fair enough RoH tried to make it as prestigious as possible but I really don't think you can consider it a world title.

You do realize you basically repeated my point right?

  9. Probably not but has anyone given any thought to JR being the mystery man? He must have a nice little fortune saved up and has done enough jobs in WWE to have capable knowledge on how to run the place. I know he said he's done with wrestling but how many times have people said one thing in wrestling when they mean another. I'd guess a deal like this isn't something you want to leak out anyway as it could attract other interest and push the price up.

  10. Thinking about these UK tapings I think Manchester is getting a poor deal this year. It sounds like we get 7 TNA wrestlers and a UK battle royal compared to the Jokers Wild Show which will get what I assume is an 8 team tournament so 16 TNA names. By the time you add the knock outs and the semis & final to the Manchester show there isn't going to be much space to add the rest of the touring roster so do they get the night off? Hopefully its Manik and that lot that get told to do one for the night and not Daniels or Bully.

  11. You'll probably find that its not TNA who have made that, or are even aware what the poster is like. They've probably sold the show to a local who pays for the event, TNA just supply the ring, wrestlers, lighting, and book the show, it is the local mugs job to buy the promotional material and do all advertising in the hope it turns a profit which he gets to keep. They do this for house shows and with some of the decisions TNA have made recently I wouldn't be shocked if they'd started doing it with TV tapings for a higher price but it could backfire if the local can't be arsed or does a shitty job and TNA end up airing a show recorded in front of 20 people.

There's no way thats professionally made though, at least I hope not.

  12. Chris Jericho vs Ric Flair and Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge happened at consecutive PPVs, Summerslam 02 and Unforgiven 02. Only difference being, the second Jericho/Flair match was for the Intercontinental title.

That's nothing major though. Since the monthly PPV's started you'll find a lot of rematches on consecutive PPV's because it's the obvious way to carry on feuds at those bigger shows.

  13. So what you are saying is he should have been happy where he was, regardless of the opportunities he could have been presented with, of which he had many to advance his own career many times over and provide a living for his family for the rest of his life.

No. I'm just saying you can't blame the guy for staying if he was able to provide for his family and his spot was secure. He had a nice contract with TNA and was one of their bigger names. In WWE he could work his way up yet would always be expendable, with TNA they're always more likely to want to keep him as they don't have the big names or the ease of creating them that WWE do. I never said he shouldn't have taken the opportunities when they came up, just that it's understandable why he didn't.
