Does anybody know if there are any wrestling schools in the North East of England? Any help is much appreciated.
Â
There one in Newcastle where Pac first started out I believe, but I can't remember what it is called. The is also the Wrestle Zone one as well if thats still running.

Wade Fitzgerald vs Jonny Storm:
Â
Awesome stuff.

It was also the main draw of Slamboree 96, where any possibility of random drawing was completely absent, bearing in mind pretty much every match had either i) Enemies teaming ii) enemies against each other iii) regular partners ending up in a team. IIRC, it had 16 teams, with the winners progressing to another tag match, and then the finale. Combined with three or so non-tournament matches, it meant something like 16 matches on a pretty much wretched PPV. Russo brought the concept back for a tag title tournament in 1999, which was similiarly dodgy...
Â
In 96 was this not the reason Eddie Gurrerro and DDP were fueding before the nWo invasion, due to them winnning the tag tourney and DDP nicking the ring?
Â
Â
and why was the bulldog billed from leeds around 1992???Â
Im sure, as said above, because Leeds won the league in 92.

Does anyone know where i can get hold of the FWA TV Series that was on TWC a few years ago.

Has RVD done a shoot interview since he left WWE?
Â
Does anybody know the dates of the RAW's when 1, DX Vs. Kai En Tai was the main event? and 2, When they opened the show with a 4 way tag for the tag belts and the New Age Outlaws pinned each other straight away and won the match?

From what I remember from WWF magazine the original card included HBK vs Bret for the world title and Bulldog vs the mountie for the IC title. The IC title match was scrapped when the belt changed
This is correct.
Â
I think they played it out as Shawn had beat Bulldog for the IC Title and Bulldog had only beat Bret for the Title 3 months earlier. Shawn challenged Bret to the match stating if Bulldog could beat him then so could Shawn as he had beaten Bulldog for the IC Title.
Â
Or something like that.

IIRC the First Anniversary show is brilliant, with a very intense and stiff Low Ki Vs. Homicide match.
I can't really point you towards specific discs, but the series between AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels was all the rage at the time. IIRC, they did two cracking singles matches (which might not be as good as their TNA clashes, though I haven't seen them for a long while), and were also involved in a pretty great four-way with...off the top of my head I think it was Chris Sabin and Joey Matthews. So, if any of all that's on the DVDs, probably worth getting them...With the slew of 3PW DVD's out on the cheap at the mo, I'm wanting to get my hands on a couple. Can anyone recommend any of the shows?

Search Doug Williams on ebay, I'm pretty sure Mark Sloan is still selling a best of Doug in FWA on there. Is there anywehre i can get a DVD purely on Doug Williams? I know there is a shoot interview available, but i was hoping for matches.

I had a similar incident, I couldnt contain my laughter, but the thing is, do you think non wrestling people believe him when he says he is a massive world wide wrestling star? This list makes me glad I'm not working anymore, through fear I would have ended up in it. :(However, it was nice to see a few familier faces. Dan Edge for example. Now I haven't been invloved in "da biz" for a while now and I occasionally bump into old faces (not babyfaces, just faces in general), some of which are recognisable but have no clue as to what their name is or to what capacity I knew them previously. One such occasion happenend on Friday night whilst in Blockbusters. The chap who served me recognised me and I recognised him, but I couldn't remember where from. We said our hello's and then he asked If I was still wearing the lycra. This could mean 2 things, I knew him from wrestling or from another sordid affair I was once involved in. I went with wrestling and it turned out to be right. Anyways, whilst talking about old workers and people I used to know he mentioned Dan Edge. It turns out old Danny has been working in the states for a while. Getting booked left, right & centre by all the top indy companies. He's even worked for NWA. He's off to Japan soon too, they want to book him apparently.I find it funny that people still spout this shit, and even more funny that people still believe it. It also begs the question, could Dan Edge also be mentally crippled? Also, I think Dan should drop the "100%" moniker through fear of false advertising. Surely with his cripplisation he should be known as something like "78% Dan Edge".

Can somebody pm me with a decent website that is currently taking new sign ups for pwt's.

Think his old man died and he won over the crowd, or he was the suprise man in a 3 way at Survivor Series after Austin got ran down. I think. May it was the other way round.

This mans semitments.Going by this thread, which is here to promote a PTW show.Peter Stainforth is a fucking awful promoter and as this thread and his website proves is very good at making a right arse of himself, if not intentsionally. Can this thread be closed and moved to UKFF Gold just to use as a link anytime a smalltime promoter comes on here with a reaction to a very well written and constructive review of one of there shows.Seriously, what a complete arse.
It's a fan forum, intended for discussion of UK wrestling events. That doesn't mean, post about what you like and ignore what you don't like. If you put yourself out there, especially by posting threads to promote your own shows or those on which you're appearing, you open yourself to criticism. If people here see something and don't like it, they have every right to criticise it. With the individuals in question, it ain't like they're being roundly negative about everything either if you do a bit of reading around the forum.if you "hate" or "dislike" anyone/any promotion why do you all waste all your time trying to bash and criticise everything they do?

This thread gets more confusing and entertaining by the day, and Pete Stainforth stopped posting in it 3 days ago.UKFF Gold Please!!!!

Actually Mongo was the 4th member after Pillman was fired, turning on another NFL star in a tag match again The Horsemen.Malenko joined in 98 when Ric Flair returned to the company after he settled his lawsuit with WCW.Benoit was the fourth member. Malenko joined after Pillman was "fired"/erm, fired.

What episode was this on, Ive got all the nitros and wouldnt mind watching this?Just watching an old Nitro from 1998. Raven/Kanyon botch a powerbomb & neck breaker combo on one of the Villano's. He's down for ages after buggering his neck, Patrick calls for the bell and Raven breaks character to make sure he's ok. He's flat out in the ring motionless for three or four minutes. Anyone know if he wrestled again after it?

I remember mdickie from years ago, back then he was doing flash wrestling games, i dunno if it is still the same, he use to use a really simple website, think it was mdickie.com, might be worth checking out.

Is there any reason why TWC:Fight have never shown re runs of the FWA TV series?
-
Who's idea was it to bring blue meanie into wwf in 98/99?I just thought Vince always likes big muscley guys and he was pretty much a fatty until he left.
-
Does anybody know why in Regal's book he completely misses out his run in wwf when he was a real mans man? Is it just pure embaressment about the gimmick or what?
-
The only logical explanation would be that Benoit missed the house show on saturday and didnt show up to the ppv sunday, wwe not being about to get hold of anybody at there address they assume there is a family problem, hence the announcement last night, and im assuming they were only found in the last few hours for there to be no news story locally.im utterly shocked.
