  1. Is anyone from here making the trip up to Scotland for fear and loathing this year? There’s 6 of us coming up from Newcastle

there doesn’t seem as much of buzz about this years show as there has been the last few years looking on ticketmaster I don’t think ticket sales have been spectacular either there’s still seats left in every section and in almost every row even in the first tier of seating

Personally I’m really looking forward to cofffey v Coffey and the 6 man with bt, Wolfgang & Noam vs BSS

  2. Nordholm has made it pretty clear in interviews he wasn’t happy about the deal with pop and wouldn’t be re negiotiating similar terms you’ve got to think with all that’s going on they have something lined up unless of course they are happy to just take it off pop and put impact on one of there own networks in the USA

anthem have a few channels in the states most likely pursuit or gametv you’d have to imagine that would be a last resort but atleast they’d get all of the ad revenue rather than half of it

when they left spike and DA They had fairly good offers on the table from WGN would they still be interested? On the face of it Dixie not taking that deal when they joined pop was a stupid idea based on her hugely overestimating viewership and ad revenue the garaunteed money that was on the table from WGN would have been much more than they will be making now

even going back to DA shouldn’t be ruled out all was very rosey with them until Dixie started sending dodgy emails and impact was there highest rated show by a country mile I could see them wanting it back if the money was right they know the numbers it got before

  3. There’s an option to go via Detroit for only £411 return but it’s a long wait for the connecting flight

    Friday

    Heathrow 12:30>Detroit>16:20

    detroit 20:15>Nashville >21:16

if we are coming back wedneday

    Nashville 19:00>Atlanta 21:17

    atlanta 22:04>Heathrow 11:10

That’s one hell of a tight connection coming back but the price is amazingly cheap

We’ve already booked the hotel fri-wed with booking.com that was a pretty good deal too best western sunrise inn £400 for 3 of us sharing for the 5 nights not to bad at all less than £30 each per night

  4. The venues for the next sets of tapings to close out 2018 look pretty small too particularly the next one in Vegas I’ve not seen any shows from there before but some of you may have I don’t think it’s gonna look too good on tv

November 11th, 12th & 13th tv tapings from sams town casino in Vegas (2 nights of tv and 1 night taping a Ono ppv)

Then two nights in California but at different venues

    November 30th Newark pavilion

December 1st salinas youth center (this one is being advertised as a Ono event

    That’s it for 2018

then it’s the homecoming ppv at the asylum 6th January I’m hoping they hurry up and and announce tv taping days soon as I’ve held off on booking flights I’m not expecting them to be offering a travel package as  they didn’t for bound for glory

if they don’t announce taping days in the next week or two we are gonna book to return home Wednesday knowing my luck they will then announce tapings through Friday

anyone know a cheaper/faster way to Nashville than Heathrow>Toronto>Nashville £425 return only 3 of us doing it which is a huge shame there was 8 of us who went to the asylum in 2003 will be really cool going back

is anyone else on here planning to attend?

  5. Have to agree re the Allie su match wasn’t to my liking at all i wasn’t a huge fan of the broken stuff tbh but atleast that was meant to be a bit of comedy as much as anything else this just seemed like a really horribly acted low budget horror

on the plus side atleast we got the return of rosemary during the segment so she must be nearing a return from her injury

re the Aries stuff it almost certainly will be a work the way he acted during the hall of fame seemed to be along the same lines atleast we got a decent match out of it first

  6. In the announcement it says Callis will still do comentary for njpw

ryan Clark is reporting there is now a working agreement in place between impact and njpw

Callis and Lance Storm podcast opening 10 mins talking about the deal and his role aswell as a tease Jericho will be involved :)

  7. Anyone traveling to the show on Sunday might want to check rail enquiries to make sure there train is still running Cross country have just announced a late strike for Sunday and hundreds or trains are cancelled mine from Newcastle>Glasgow direct is one of them :( I’m having to go tomorrow to the ticket office and be switched onto a 2xchangeover train

  8. Enjoyed impact again this week happy there was no Alberto on the show and it flowed well without any pointless stuff it was the last part of the tapings I was at so looking forward to the next few weeks as I’ve managed to avoid spoilers

the ATT stuff was really good again and the OVE/LAX six man was wild Eli continues to nail it with what he is given but I don’t think Williams has what it takes to be main eventing not even in Canada so hopefully it will be someone else going up against him soon

All in all another solid impact nothing particular bad but nothing spectacularly great either
