Baseball looks complicated at first but It's not really too hard to grasp. By the end of the first game you watch you can pretty much work out the scoring system and learn the difference between Strikes and Ball's etc

There's gonna be alot of controversy if you can shoot the animals, people care more about animals than people. Remember when PETA flipped out about being able to shoot dogs in Call of Duty.

Not too keen on the character but obviously its too early to make a judgment, I wasn't much of a fun of Niko Bellic either. I felt it wasn't the same as with III, Vice City and San Andreas where you just felt cool as fuck.
