Anyone recommend any cracking eps of nitro that are uploaded now?!
-
Great doc! Loved the bit about Rollins in nxt. I never got what credentials terry taylor ever had to relate to the jobs he's had over the years
Â
Anybody?!
-
But surely he's the only full time Powerslam employee? I'm guessing most that cash is his.
Â
Exactly! Can't see him having much overheads/costs to publish a magazine, and with minimal wages to pay - to accumulate nearly

Gutted to see it going, been a reader since 1997 but bought it out of habit since mid 2000's! FSM is vastly superior but always used to look forward to getting home from school and there would be a new issue of PS waiting, especially pre internet days. Loved the dynamite kids first interview in PS, felt groundbreaking at the time

Was listening to cornettes podcast, he said the best nwa/wcw stuff was pre 1989. Can anyone recommend me anything
-
The latest jim cornette podcast is absolutely hilarious! He goes on a huge rant regarding guns and the usa that is funny from start to finish
-
Foley whinges about however much he's earning, he's such a tight fisted git! Can you imagine how much vince et al must laugh at him due to his dress sense, he's such a scruffy bastard and takes no pride in his appearance - looking at the wrestlemania round table for example! I'd sack him for his lack of personal presentation
-
I'm on Xbox and the VOD has been working fine for me the last few days.
Â
That's what's happening to me! Some of the VOD stuff works like the ol draws and smack downs and the legends of wrestling but the ppv library is down! Just says 'no feed available'
Â
Sorry, that was in reply to Michael mush
-
Talk about a week for it to start going all funny!!
-
Anybody having problems with the network today? Can't play old ppvs but can watch the round tables and the love streaming stuff?! Weird
-
Watching an old raw, is the manhattan centre the same as the Hammerstein ballroom? Or just in the same building? The raw set up looks smaller then where the ecw one night stand ppvs were done and ROH shows too
-
I'm loving the wwe ppvs from 98-2001! Stellar action, and every match on the card had a purpose! Had a great time watching Summerslam 98
-
I'm in Canada and signed up the the network with an Apple TV and a us iTunes/DNS settings account, not a Canadian account. I got an email saying that as it isn't available in my country, I'll be getting a refund. It's still not gone yet, as my system is set up to view US Content does this mean I'll still have the network it will it just be annulled soon? Anyone had this happen?
-
All ppvs are in chronological order on the Apple TV. You can just flick between each year and it lists them in the right order
-
Kinda annoyed it doesn't have a resume button like on netflix and you have to start from the beginning of a show everytime
-
I hope they get the streaming issues sorted out before WM otherwise there are gunna be a lot of pissy posts
-
I've only got it on my Apple TV and at work at the moment! Just glad I live in Canada now and don't have to stet up at stupid o clock to watch all the live stuff
-
Jesus Christ, I can't see for looking on the wwe network, I don't know where to start, with all the content available! Just wondered what you peeps would recommend to watch first from the ppvs?! Which are the crackers of the lot, and must see ppv's?! Or any hidden gems anybody has come across and forgot about! Watched Summerslam 98 the other day and forgot how good that was. I've got a free Saturday night as the wife's out and intend to sit down with some beer and OD on wrestling. Suggestions...

Fin must be bored with it. I have no idea how much he makes from it, but there must be times he wishes he could just switch off completely from wrasslin, or at least from the responsibility of writing the chunkier articles month in month out and having overall responsibility for bringing it all together.
Â
I still buy Power Slam, have done for over 17 years, but for the first time ever I've yet to read the current issue weeks after buying it. In the pre-internet days getting Power Slam was the highlight of many months!
Â
I've never bought FSM, my perception from this forum was it was (at least historically) a glorified fanzine. However I appreciate that may not longer be the case, but I don't want to spend 3/4 quid to read about some local promotions and locker room etiquette.
Â
For what it's worth I'd guess Fin is in the same boat as many of us; trying to find a reason to stay interested.
Â
You can look at his online accounts on company check! His business account isn't doing too shabbily

Grado picks up colt cabana from the airport! Hilarious! Grado is awesome
-
Would probably ignored the Grado one if I hadn't met him at the fringe, really good listen and going to search out his videos as sound good.
Â
Watched the British wrestler doc featuring him and he's fucking brilliant! His promos are hilarious
-
Add me to the list of those who checked out the P2B podcast with Kevin Kelly. He provided a lot new stuff I hadn't heard about before. Going to check out the rest of those 1999 PPV reviews too. A great listen for two hours too.
Â
I think Martin Hines has a new episode up of his Interesting People podcast, with Peter Rosenberg who has interviewed a lot of the big WWE names in the last few years. Looking forward to giving it a listen.
Â
Listened to a bit of the 1997 stuff with Kevin Kelly today, really insightful! I still don't get why Austin wouldn't work with jarett - anyone know?!
