  1. I'll try one more time....The simple fact WWE.com have linked Benoit (spelt it correctly for you) with murdering his family means that the investigators have enough evidence to suggest Chris did his family in. WWE.com could still profit from selling merchandise and the like, Chris has legions of fans, do you honestly think WWE.com would run a story like this without having enough proof? Not to mention the distress of his 2 daughters, of other wrestlers by branding him a murderer if it is infact proved that he did not do this.I'm sure alot of you are finding this hard to come to terms with, it's a shock, granted....but i'm afraid you can't hold onto this legacy of Chris Benoit, he killed his family and that's that.

WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff

  2. I couldn't care less what people who don't know me and have never met me think about me.

Well, that explains the PM threatening a libel lawsuit, then.
Different situations entirely. On a forum, it's an opinion. When you put it on BritWres, you're inferring that it's fact. And when I can disprove your 'sources' in a heartbeat, it's libel.
Did they teach you that on your criminology degree, or did they just stick to catching serial killers? On this forum, right now, my opinion is that you are a fucking moron with the potential to do untold damage to the (already tarnished) wrestling industry in this country. Please stop.
  3. Just a thought, (ill-educated speculation, if you will, with Farepak in mind) but won't the appointed insolvency practitioners discharge any commercial debt where they can before giving anything back to customers for ticket sales? It also seems strange that the aforementioned insolvency practitioners have set up a hotmail account to deal with this. I wouldn't hold my breath for ticket refunds.

  4. Children?

You've probably all heard it before at this point, but - What's pink and smells of holly?

Kudos.I've said it in every "dodgy" thread (eleven year old girl hangs herself leaps to mind) that every gag about every possible subject is fair game. Nuts deep, fellas.
  5. It's you, isn't it Kriss. Not Two Sheds as I first suspected....

"The Evolution" Kriss Sprules: Who am I? Well, that's a simple question, with an even simpler answer. I am "The Genetically Modified Monster," I am a miracle of modern science, I am a killing machine. But where did I come from? I came from science. I was created as an experiment in a genetics lab on the outskirts of Oxford to be the ultimate killing machine

  6. Are there any wrestlers left in WWE who call a match in the ring, as a recent magazine article I read claims that almost all WWE matches are choreographed move-for-move nowadays? Any specifics would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's probably true for TV matches, as things are so heavily scripted and have to be very precisely timed. On the road, guys are being encouraged to call matches on the fly more and more as it teaches them how to adapt, how to listen to the crowd, and how to cope with the unexpected. I remember Randy Orton and someone (Shelton Benjamin?) getting high praise for a completely unscripted match a while back which, for two guys with very little experience, is pretty awesome.
Funnily enough, I'm 90% certain it was Randy Orton and Maven that did the unscripted match. They let Maven go soon after :/
I thought they just though of it themselves backstage, rather than have a road agent tell them. or maybe i read the report wron,g or maybe I'm thinking of the wrong match
From what Ive heard, the road agents put the match together alongside the wrestlers involved (Im guessing the more experience they have, the more they're allowed to suggest & plan themselves), but things often go wrong in the ring. An important spot can mess up, and the wrestlers will have to improvise something new on the fly (or some make the misake of going back to the botched spot), or certain things might get forgotten about in the heat of the match (I honestly dont think I could plan & remember what would basicaly be a tight 15 minutes spot). That said, Im guessing some section of the match are just generaly planned, like say 3-4 minutes of matwork (although I have heard of people who plan down to the wristlocks and hammerlock reversals) and the more experienced wrestlers probably just have the rough structure & story of the match planned, and the rest just comes naturaly.
If I remember correctly, Ricky Steamboat said in his shoot interview that Savage demanded they plan their Wrestlemania match down to the last move, and made a numerical list that they both memorised, starting with 1. Lock up......
  7. I've just finished "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson, and it's bloody brilliant. Essentially, it's the sum of mankinds scientific endeavour "for dummies"...like me. In almost every chapter, the science is quite heavy, but there will be one sentence or paragraph that just makes you sit back and go "fuuuccckkkk.....". Seriously, even if you hate science, read it.

  8. I remember that during the time that Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans earlier this year it was reported on WWE.com that Heidenreich had not been able to locate his wife and child who lived in the area. The last thing I read was that Heidenreich went to New Orleans himself to help look for them. He has since returned to the WWE after only a very short absence so I am guessing this situation has been resolved. can anyone give me some more details please.Cheers

I believe it was reported on wwe.com that he had found them safe and well shortly after.
I thought it was the opposite. Didn't Heidenreich wrestle with a black armband for a while? And it was his father that was missing.
    Obsessed with Wrestling says:

September 6, 2005: John Heidenreich finally got in contact with his wife, children and father, who thankfully were alive and safe..

    Wiki says:

In late August 2005 Heidenreich's family was stranded in Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina hit the area, he was unable to contact them and had begun a search to find them. He finally reached contact with his wife and kids on September 6, 2005.

    Fair enough. :)
