  1. Just a quick confirmation (because I'm Lazy) but if I order a PSP game from an American website it will play on my Machine wont it? I'm looking to get Metal Gear: Portable Ops!Currently, having recently beaten Zelda I have turned my attention to Hotel Dusk on the DS! Very wordy, but interesting none the less!

  2. A massive fall from grace for yours truly :(

Join the club dude, I remember when I used to be nominated for this award for posting pictures of myself with a stuffed toy frog on my head! How internet comedy has changed! :(I voted for just me BTW, as he is the only one I can actually remember making me laugh enough to actually check out who posted the comments! Maybe because I havent been here so much I havent noticed the comedy so much!
  3. But again, thats the press! As Russel Brand points out during his stand up, they are out to sell papers, and so inconsitencies and fabrications enter the fold! How the hell are the newspapers supposed to know that she was going to tell her family shortly? She might have known, but hey, how the newspapers came up with that I don't know! For every fact in an artical such as this, theres bound to be at least two or three lies! Thats true of every thing you read in a newspaper!

  4. Took 24 back and got it replaced! Same thing happened, and then I realised after yesterdays "opperation" that I forgot to remove the extra dust that I had brushed into the disk tray! This has largely fixed the problem although I get the odd skip here and there! Im going to take it apart again later!I have to say, I'm very impressed by the game, a nice mixture of Stealth, shooting, driving, puzzle and various other game modes so far and I feel if you can get past the sometimes dodgey (if you get too close to the enemy) aiming system then this is a fairly good game! Sure the controls arn't great, but it's a very playable game and I am most definetly enjoying it!I also killed Moylesey already :(

  5. Result, taking my PS2 apart was a success, but got a bit scary when the disk tray wouldn't open !(but it turns out the screws needed to be in tight for it to work)24 still doesn't work, but that must be a game problem as everything else that didn't work before, including DVD's does!Good work Sym!

  6. See this confuses me. I'm a massive fan of 24 the series, owning every boxset and all that crap so the 24 game appeals to me so much and everybody I've talked to has loved it. But IGN and Gamespot have given it really a really shitty rating, which has put me in two minds weather to buy it or not.On the games front, I started over on GTA:SA last night and hopefully this time I'll complete it and not get bored halfway through.

Having recently got into 24, currently a third through the second series, I went out and bought the game last night! Only trouble is i'm getting a f***ing disc read error every two minutes after the first cutscene! This has led me to attempt a dustosuction of my console (but afterdark because I heared these kinda things are illegal). In the mean time, I am also playing:Gm Mode on Smackdown!Pro Evo GTA: Liberty City StoriesDonky Kong CountryThe Gettaway!

Who is the spelling bee? He has to be a past poster as I can't see anyone coming onto the forum just to correct peoples spellings!
  8. ANd theres me sitting down with a chocolate buiscuit and a cup of tea looking forward to a nice 7 page long Eddie Guerreo Discussion. Now maybe im in a shitty mood after being left on my own for Valentines day (20th year running no less) but here is my two cents on the whole thing. The two articles, as I said above were based on facts, theres no way to argue that and so at the end of the day, they are going to be at least a little similar. I mean if you go on the web tonight and dig up another article on Eddie Gurreros Carear, in all likely hood it will contain many similar aspects. Same with any article you are gonna pull up, somthing on Austin is always gonna have somthing to do with his walk out, a HHH article, somthing on his relationship with Steph. These are facts, which is what the article is basically got to contain if it is to be informative.I have read both articals and no doubt they are similar, which to be honest is to be accepted. Now as for the whole reaction to the whole thing, i was shocked in the ammount of anti Nigel comments that appeared before he even told his side of the story and feel a little sorry for him on this account. It seems to me, like many times before people seem to have jumped on the popular opinion bandwagon again in hope of making themselves seem like a better and more liked poster. I'm not meaning this as a dig to anyone, but thought that was a little unfair on Nigel. As for Nigel, I have talken to him several times on MSN and he seems like a sound guy. I usually speak to him after Raw/Smacdown each week and we have a little disscusion about where we would take the shows now. He seems really knowlegeable and has a vast wrestling knowlege and seems to know his audience. He seems very professional and I really doubt that he would have done this on purpose, that would just be stupid. This whole thread in my opinion seems to show the UKFF mentality and us such should not be put into the UKFF Gold thread as it seems to me to just be a lynching job directed towards a guy who has some very nice writing jobs which a lot of people would love to be able to do. It's also a shame that said poster may not be around much anymore due to the whole thing. I mean lets be fair, did this guy take your money? Did he promise you free tickets? This is the internet people, lets try not to take things so seriously. If i pissed anyone off sorry, but I doubt I will reply in this thread again!
