If it meant going, Iā€™d obviously do it, just definitely not ideal.

Iā€™d been panicking all morning, but you reckon itā€™ll be alright without the coach being used, yeah?

If you're still wondering, the below was on my ticketmaster ticket confirmation email (I didn't include coach travel):

Is there any seating chart around that gives numbers in rowsĀ

Noticed a lot more tickets have become available and in the price level I was aiming for and would like to have an aisle seat but have no idea of Wembley Stadium

    Try:Ā https://3ddigitalvenue.com/clients/sports/wembley

Type in the section, e.g. 123 and then you'll get the below screen, just hover over the seats for their row/seat numbers:

  3. I loved it!

There was nothing on the card I was especially looking forward to...and I don't like Iron Man matches but I bought the PPV anyway. They've not let me down yet and maybe it was my low expectations but I enjoyed the whole show. I even watched the Iron Man match without skipping any of it. Hot crowd all night and it didn't feel like a slog (like some AEW PPVs).

  4. Apparently NXT UK will be airing in France beginning this month...so even if BT ditch them I guess they can always fall back on leaving it on the Network.

NXT UK TO START AIRING IN FRANCE

    - NXT UK will be airing on French television starting Saturday, February 19 on AB1. The news was announced by AB1 on their social media today. AB1 already has the rights for Raw and Smackdown, airing those shows on Wednesday and Saturday respectively. NXT UK now joins their Saturday line up with Philippe Chereau and Christophe Agius doing the French commentary. The Philippines and the United Kingdom are the only two other countries where NXT UK also airs on television apart from the WWE Network, with TAP Sports airing it in Philippines and BT Sport airing it in the UK.

WWE is not over with kids according to the demos. The over 50 crowd carries WWE. AEW has more viewers per home and a younger audience.Ā

Three of my nephews (aged 6, 9 and 12) have been big WWE fans for a long time. They get to watch both WWE and AEW through WWE Network/Fite.TV (my treat :)Ā ), for their birthdays at the end of last year, they all asked for AEW wrestling figures/t-shirts (with the exception of 1 Roman Reigns tshirt) rather than the usual WWE ones. The last time I spoke with them they said they've stopped watching WWE as it's so boring. I have to admit, I was surprised by that as I assumed WWE was aimed more towards the kids. Although their parents aren't that happy with AEW in terms of the language/violence so I think that could be an issue with attracting more younger fans as some parents will be put off by that.

I hadnā€™t realised until googling it that Battle of the Belts is this weekend, I had no idea. I realise they had the first TBS show to hype, but I expected it to feel more of blockbuster than it actually does.

I was surprised to see that it was only a 1 hour show, they've been hyping Britt/Riho for a while now, with Cody/Sammy added, they'll probably add a third and final match after Dynamite.

  7. Here's the upcoming schedule for AEW, I had to look it up as they've mentioned quite a few different events recently:

AEW Dynamite - 'Holiday Bash' - Wednesday 22nd December

    • Malakai Black vs. Griff Garrison
    • CM Punk, Sting, and Darby Allin vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood) and MJF
    • Orange Cassidy vs. Adam Cole
    • Nyla Rose vs. Ruby Soho (Semi-finals of TBS title)

AEW Rampage - 'Holiday Bash' - Saturday 25th December

    • Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Cody Rhodes (TNT title match)
    • Hook vs. Bear Bronson

AEW Dynamite - 'New Years Smash' - WednesdayĀ 29th December

AEW Rampage - 'New Years Smash' - Friday 31st December

AEW Dyanmite - [FIRST SHOW VIA TBS] - Wednesday 5th January

    • Final of the TBS title tournament

AEW Rampage - [REMAINING ON TNT] - Friday 7th January

AEW Special - Battle of the Belts - Saturday 8th January (1 Hour Show)

    • Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) vs. Riho (Womens title match)

SMACKDOWN RING ANNOUNCER GREG HAMILTON RELEASED

    - PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has released Smackdown ring announcer Greg Hamilton. Hamilton, who was regarded as one of the best ring announcers currently in the business, did Crown Jewel on Thursday and Smackdown on Friday, but it looks like his legal threats on his Instagram led to his release earlier this week. During the weekend, Hamilton went on a tirade against rapper Westside Gunn, who apparently used Hamilton's voice in one of his songs. Hamilton demanded $30,000 to settle or else he threatened to sue and unleash the WWE legal team on his behalf. "Youā€™ll be paying me for years," Hamilton wrote in now deleted comments. "Apologize and Iā€™ll think about not collecting every dime for the rest of your life...or I can just get WWE lawyers...thatā€™s ok too. Settle with my lawyer. And donā€™t EVER use my voice again...so wrong." He later posted another comment asking if he's going to settle or if he wants to "dance" with the WWE lawyers. "Price goes up by the day. It was 20k, but at noon eastern it's $30k and we go to court," Hamilton continued. Hamilton had been working for WWE since 2015, starting with NXT and then moving to the main roster becoming the ring announcer for the Smackdown brand.

    GREG HAMILTON CONFIRMS WWE EXIT

    - Former Smackdown ring announcer Greg Hamilton confirmed his departure from WWE in a post on Instagram, calling this a "mutual respect departure from a great company." Hamilton noted that there was nothing but respect from both sides but this is all business and "we all know our worth." Hamilton warned fans not to get riled up over what they see on social media because "it's not real life especially for your favorite Superstars," calling his peers incredible human beings. "The hate, the bullying...that is read and internalized by real human beings...not characters. That needs to be said for my friends," Hamilton wrote.

The road to style video they have put up for Wednesday has some lovely clips of Brody with 10 harking back to the aew title match Ā . Worth a watchĀ

They always do such a good job with these videos, it makes every week feel like it's a special edition rather than just another episode:

    > SONYA DEVILLE ALSO IN BACKSTAGE ARGUMENT WITH FLAIR
    - The situation which happened on Friday between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch continued to evolve with new information coming in. PWInsider.com, which originally broke the story, said that the heated argument between the two took place in front of WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, and others who at the time were at the Gorilla position. The situation also escalated when Sonya Deville, who was part of the segment also got in on it and had a nasty argument with Flair. During their bit, Deville demanded that Flair pick up the title to get the segment back on track and PWInsider said that Deville, a former MMA fighter, was "mad enough to want to fight Flair." According to other sources, the now Smackdown Women's champion was escorted out of the building by WWE security to diffuse the situation from escalating even more. The consensus is that Charlotte was the one to blame and Lynch had every right to stand up for herself and not take crap from her former best friend. Flair has been apparently very difficult to work with lately and her attitude changed big time when her boyfriend Andrade was released.

  11. I totally forgot it was in a stadium so that was a nice surprise.

Did anyone else catch Greg Hamilton introducing the gold medal winners? Is it me or did it look like he was having some kind of medical episode? I was a little worried but he seemed fine later on.

The Belair squash was baffling, they did a great job of showcasing her at WrestleMania and trying to build on that and it feels like it was for nothing.

    > INDIE STAR ACCUSES DARBY ALLIN OF ABUSE

    - Independent wrestler Hawlee Cromwell today posted on social media that AEW star Darby Allin abused her in the past. "Iā€™m tired Iā€™m so f*cking tired and I donā€™t care anymore. Darby Allin abused me. He abused me and Iā€™m tired of being called a liar by ā€œfansā€ who have no idea the shitty person he really is," she wrote. "Somehow no one remembers, Iā€™ll never forget how you treated me like shit." In her original June 2020 post during the height of the #SpeakingOut campaign, Cromwell wrote that she would not be naming any names because she didn't feel comfortable doing so. But that changed today. In the June 19, 2020 tweet, she explained that between 2016 and 2017, she had an on-again-off-again relationship with a wrestler who ruined her mental health and she's still struggling with it. Cromwell wrote that he would get upset, scream, and yell at her and treat her like a punching bag, although she admitted that he never laid a hand on her. "It got to the point we're I was so disassociated and was walking on eggshells all the time that I didn't say much and if I didn't reply how he wanted I would get screamed at. He would tell me if I didn't do things he wanted me to he was going to leave me," she continued, adding that she lived in constant fear and still does because that experience carries on to the point that she believes if she doesn't do something someone asks her, they will leave her. "He also would threaten to leave me if I didn't have sex with him or do sexual things and preform sex acts with him. I took me a long time to realize that threatening someone to have sex with you isn't consent. It's rape. I struggle with this to this day and have so many fears around sex and around intimacy," she added.

Anybody elseā€™s Network playing silly buggers on Roku?

Anything that I try and watch it just kicks me back to the Roku Home Screen. Iā€™ve tried logging out and back in again, Iā€™ve deleted and re-added the WWE Network Channel, Iā€™ve turned it on & off again, but just kicked back to the Home Screen every timeĀ

I just testedĀ mine and it's doing the exact same thing as yours, I'm not sure how long it's been going on asĀ I haven't watched anything on there since MITB.

Pat McAfee is the most fascinating man in the company. Like a variant from another timeline, I don't know how or why he's allowed to act, talk and react like a normal human being. Is he super rich and successful elsewhere? Is that what it takes to not give a shit and just do what you want at the booth? Either way, itā€™sĀ extra weird with him sitting next to Michael Cole, spouting his lines like replicant. No-one has ever soundedĀ less sincere than Cole shouting, 'We are back and we are HOME!" at the end of this show.

This reminds me of the 'controversy' of his shorts at WrestleMania 35...he obviously isn't afraid to do his own thing, which is refreshing.

HUNDREDS OF FLOOR AND RINGSIDE SEATS REMAIN UNSOLD FOR WRESTLEMANIA

    - Not much WrestleMania tickets have moved over the past week and the company still have tickets to sell for both night one and two. Night two has less tickets remaining than night one but both nights have a big problem: hundreds of floor and ringside seats remain unsold. Night one on April 10 has a total of 387 floor seats available for sale, 137 of which are classified as ringside. Seats as close to fifth row remain for sale. Night two on April 11 has slightly less floor seats available with 297 but a higher percentage of ringside seats on sale with 115 available. Just like night one, seats as close as fifth row cane be purchased. The higher price point of these tickets is a turn off for many fans, and with no international fans splashing cash, it looks like WWE will be giving some upgrades on the two nights to fill up these seats. The highest tickets are selling for $2,000 for ringside and the cheapest floor seats are $200. There are just over 1,000 seats in total available for night one and less than 800 available for night two.

I'm surprised, IĀ thought they'd sell out pretty quick considering how long it's been for fans to attend a WWE show. I guess with the lacklustre card and COVID, it's just not enticing enough.

On the back of the above post, the actual numbersĀ (taken from the Wrestling-Online Newsletter) were...

    ACTUAL WRESTLEMANIA 37 NUMBERS PUBLISHED
    Ā
    - Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com got his hands on the actual WrestleMania numbers through a request to the Tampa Sports Authority which paint a different picture than what WWE advertised. Night one of WrestleMania had 18,328 fans physically inside the stadium. WWE officially sold 20,172 for that night and distributed a total of 21,854 tickets. Night two had an attendance of 18,924 after the company sold 20,634 tickets. 22,113 tickets were distributed in total for the second night. So for both nights, WWE had an attendance of 40,806, down from the inflated number of 51,350 which was announced for the two nights. WWE had announced that 25,675 fans attended each Mania night. In total, WWE made $6.245 million in ticket revenue over the two nights.

    Ā

Looks like there were quite a few who paid for tickets but decided not to go/couldn't make it.
