Okay, okay. So right now, i'm STUPIDLY excited.
Â
This month in Retro Gamer magazine, they did a feature on the making of the awesomely amazing 1987 Electric Dreams game Aliens. For those of you old enough to have played it, this was about the earliest experience i'd had of anything resembling a first person shooter and is probably the most scared i've ever been playing a game. Ever.
Â
SOMEONE ONLY WENT AND REMADE IT.
Â
Go here. NOW.
Download it and play it.
Okay, so most of you probably won't see why I love it so much. But it's ace.
Â
It's just how I remember it. I'm in love all over again.
Â
...and it has 2 PLAYER COOP!
Â
Plus, they've included a map and for anyone who did play the original, will know how important that is.

I literally cannot find words. At all.One of my favourites of all time, one of the greatest of all time, one of the reasons I started watching WCW again after Hogan and crew shat on it, one of the reasons I started paying more attention to the WWF again in 1999. Gone.

For those interested, demos of Dead Rising and Saints Row are available to download through the Xbox Marketplace.Dead Rising rocks my world, despite the demo being criminally short. Go find the trolley and bash some zombies. It might end up being a rather shallow experience, but this could easily end up being my game of the year.

Alright, so maybe this has been mentioned elsewhere on the board, but Final Destination 3 is out on DVD on Monday. However, you can now change the whole film (if you wish) and decide if somebody dies or not. You also have the opportunity to kill people who didn't die originally.I officially declare this as awesome.Maybe they could re-release the Sixth Sense with an option to have Haley Joel Osment tortured with power tools at various points in the film.

Danielson sent out an open challenge to anyone in wrestling to come and fight him for the title. Chris Hero took that opportunity and the first in-ring match in the feud took place at Hell Freezes Over in January (although many words were exchanged in the two/three weeks before this). The feud may end tonight with the Cage of Death match at Death Before Dishonor 4, but I don't think it's finished yet (since a match at the Liverpool show is advertsised at ROH vs. CZW).When did the ROH/CZW feud start and has it finished yet?
All the UK suppliers will stay 6 months behind so as not to harm the sales from ROH directly. You'll have to order from Ring of Honor themselves for the newer stuff. The service from ROHwrestling.com is fantastic however and i've haven't been stung by customs once.Where is the cheapest but most up-to-date place to order their events? I'm using A-Merchandise but they're about 6 months behind.

WWE in 2005. All of it.I can't pick that? Okay then, Tim White shooting himself at Armageddon, Randy Orton 'killing' the Undertaker, Matt Hardy/Edge, most of what Hassan did and Vince removing various objects from JR's rectum.

John Cena and the Undertaker.

Finally, somebody agrees with me.Spud, Shabazz & Stevie Lynn vs. James Tighe, Ross Jordan & Ice XVII (1PW, ACTOF) gets my vote by a country mile.1PW Six-Man Tag (the one featuring Shabazz)

SUWA, for being a total prick in his match against KENTA.CM Punk, for the best executed swerve for many a year. It takes a lot to surprise the modern day wrestling fan and he did, for many shows.JBL, for just being awesome and the closest thing we have to an 'old school' heel....apart from Tracy Smothers, who is getting a vote for managing to drag heel heat out of a clap-happy Doncaster crowd at ACTOF.
-
Just to sound like a broken record, WWE Armageddon and WWE Great American Bash.
-
Without a doubt, LOD 2005.
-
WWE.IWA:MS, for reasons of terribly poor management throughout 2005.

Doug Williams.

Why didn't I ask this fucking question before Christmas? I see them on ebay for aboutBuy a Dreamcast, everyone should buy a Dreamcast! I still use mine fairly regularly and have a great colleciton of games for it, they're pretty cheap second hand these days. If you get a DC I can lend you both Shen Mue games, then you can spend hours buying capsule toys and racing forklift trucks.

Isn't that record still held by the Warlord in the 1989 Rumble (or does one of the Bushwhackers hold that distinguished honour, I can't quite recall)?Who has lasted the shortest time in the Royal Rumble?

..and what fine company do you work for sir?I may have to pop into my local branch (of whatever), and promptly shoot my load over the carpet.Speaking of the Xbox, we got an Xbox 360 pod into work today, and I played a demo of Call Of Duty 2. The graphics are insanely good.

...and i've just remembered what a total idiot I am. The same theme was used for Perry Mason as well.It uses the first 15 or so seconds of the song before bridging into 'The Truth' by Beanie Segal.Another Kill Bill song was used at the start of CM Punk's 'Cult of Personality' theme (Bang Bang, by Nancy Sinatra) and in case anyone cares, Punk's final ROH theme was Night Train by the Bouncing Souls.
Hmmm...Must be where I'm getting confused then.,Oct 27 2005, 20:13]
Nah, he's still using the start from Ironside by Quincy Jones (which appeared on the Kill Bill soundtrack).Unless he's got new music since All-Star Extravaganza (the last RoH show I saw), then it's Perry Mason.....

I'll guess this has probably been asked at some point, but does anyone know the history behind this picture?
Â
Something about the belt looks a bit funny, don't know why, it looks as though it lacks the 'shine' of the real WWF title (might just be the picture though). Barry looks pretty old here, did Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling use a modified old WWF belt?
WHAT PLAY YOU?
