I liked Batman Beyond. It wasn't better than batman animated but return of the joker was great. And then to tie it into the end of JLU

she is worth a mention. I mey her very briefly last year and she's just as cute in real life as she appears on camera. She also has surprisingly large breasts for such a slight girl

Glynis Barber - 53

damn that jammy Michael Brandon!

I might give that a look as I love Born

I only get the trades, so I've not read the latest. I think it's the same artist on long cold dark that did baracuda's one off. I felt it hit and miss. Not a patch on steve dillon who out did himself in the return of ma gnucchi. The look on Frank's face when the mob boss surrenders was epic

I think Ennis is aware of how one demesional Frank Castle can be, hence the captions/ tought boxes. Spotlight magent mentions the slavers. It's probably the most powerful of the max series. The scene where he repeatedly throws that woman into the bullet proof window until the frame gives. You can feel the rage coming through, yet Ennis writes just how pintless Castle's war on crime is. He mentions how can't stop all trafficking.
The Boys hasn't reached that level yet. I think Ennis enjoys the shock value of ripping into superhero mythos. Especially DareDevil for some reason (full blown aids). But I have a feeling MM's back story might just deliver on the pathos front. But personally I love Billy Butcher as a character. I haven't read Herogasm. That will come out as a trade paperback right?

have you seen the prices for all hail megatron vol.1 on amazon? Fuck! The publishers need to get off their arse
-
is it not on amazon?

my god waterboy, you've found your own Karl Pilkington. You have to sneak a recording device into your work

that's from when she was a playboy playmate. Prob early/mid 80's when that picture was taken. She still looks pretty decent theses. As does her sister Tracy

Jane Goldman's 49! I only just got over Shirley Manson being 43
-
That photo of Patricia Heaton dopper posted is the worst one of her I've ever seen, she looks constipated
Â
funny you mention that. I saw her (and that red carpet event) in some thing about fad diets and to slim down for that dress and event she had several colonic irrigations

good call on Nicola Bryant. There's plenty of life left in her rocking boobs
-
Weeks later, I penetrated her and have never forgiven myself.
Â
that's made my day that has

I liked it. Personally I enjoyed the little touches of where wolverine got his character traits from and why he has a thing for redheads. Of course this was before comics and films and tv went apeshit for fan service box ticking so it's appeal may be slightly deminished

Dead Snow, only a tenner in fop. Imagine a Scandinavian Evil Dead crossed with Wolfenstein 3D and you're pretty much there. For film with such a low budget it's quite impressive what they manage to do, There's a couple of really good gory bits and a few laughs, but it's obvious devotion to the genre (one character is wearing a t-shirt of Peter Jackson's braindead) it doesn't rise to the level if the films it pays homage to. And the sex scene in it just annoyed me, as did most of the non-zombie characters. But it does have one of the greatest tag lines of all time; EIN! ZWEI! DIE!

And Homecide: Life on the street

yeah, you can really see the effort put in by the artist to capture the look of vietnam
-
just got 'round to reading volume 3 of the boys. Funny as always (wagh mahhh hammmstergghh baaaacgh ) and really teasing us with the various motivations and back stories (or lack of).
Has anyone read the latest Punisher max; girls in white dresses? Is it worth getting after Ennis' stellar run?
-
deffo get watchmen Paul. Also, you'd might to check out Marshal Law by Nemises duo Pat Mills and Kev O'Neil, likewise The Boys by Garth Ennis. They go along a similar theme
-
Yeah, i'll agree with that but i still enjoy Sinister Dexter especially during Christmas specials where they usually inject a load of humour. Nikolai i'm enjoying now more than i did say 10 years ago. Dante the rogue is alot better than Dante the unoffical prince.
Â
yeah, the sword of the stzar thing has really been excellent and struck the right ballance between gritty action and the devil may care attitude of Dante

The Civil War collection is a bit hit and miss. I know people who love it and people who hate it. I'm not saying you shouldn't pick it up but just be aware it might come off as well as you think.
Â
Just a personal note, i've dropped the name several times now but is there no one else on this thread who reads Sinister Dexter or Nikolai Dante? Both are 2000AD creations and i love them. Especially early Sinister Dexter. The artist is incredible. Simon Davies
Â
I'm a 200ad reader. Nikolai Dante has kept strong but I feel Sinister Dexter just lost some of it's momentum after the euro crash where Demi Octavo copped it

oh yes. That's a t-shirt now. And very nice it is too. if only they would do a "I'm with rowdy yates block, who you fighting with?"

there was.And early on aquaman was scraped as a perminant member because they had a live action pilot they thought was gonna be a winner at the time. So in came hawk girl. The teen titians weren't allowed either. Although Speedy appears in one episode. Thatshow still has some of the best voice acting ever, especially Michael Rosenbaum and I loved how Batman became such a pimp
