  1. I remember when my mum and dad got upgraded to digital. The initial excitement was short lived once I realised that you could get about 1000 channels, but none of the German analogue ones were on there. I once spent ages fucking about in the settings trying to figure out if you could programme those channels back in. I don't think you could.

I still pine for viva zwei

  2. I found Inglorious Basterds to be like Tarrantino's twilight princess. In that he shoved in as much Tarrantino-esque stuff to show people he was over the grindhouse thing and tried to remind people as such with his stuff by numbers. In mi opinion anyway. I've read articles about how it's actually Tarrantino's ego in full whack. Either way, it left me cold. And I liked his previous films

  3. Enjoyed the first episode of Eastbound and Down, but it wasn't as funny as I'd hoped for.

This presentation of the show on stalking on Channel 4 right now has been lifted from Catfish to the point that I'm finding it annoying.

except it's even more suspicious. I mean she has naked pics of her posted online by her boyfriend (it's mentioned at the start so no a spoiler) then she lets channel 4 show the pics and she mentions they're on google. Seriously, this girl is at Uni? Maybe I've become a embittered, cynicle old bastard, but something -I don't know what- doesn't quite seem right

I'm sure they mentioned at some point that she was at a school for people with special needs? That's the only way you can explain anyone believing the "someone took pictures of every room in my flat" line.

Thanks, I'm glad it wasn't just me that thought "you what?!" when she said that. Frankly I'd rather of seen a repeat of catfish of "village of the dolls", was that what it was called? More4 showed it last year about a guy who got kicked to near death and took photos of a WW2 village he made for his dolls and figures

  5. THINGYBOB FLYNN?

That is... JERRY LIGHTNINGFOOT FLYNN, GOLDBERGS TOUGHEST OPPONENT AND KING OF MMA.

The only thing Juvi ever did of note was make a cunt of himself in XPW and an Australian Hotel. Jerry Flynn is fucking payday.

THAT'S HIM! Christ, I honestly couldn't remember his first name. My brain kept getting stuck on Barry

  6. The one for RF? It's ok. Thankfully, he's not wasted or anything and it's quite interesting him talking about the differences about working in the states and mexico. And how he hates thingybob Flynn for grassing him up for drink driving. But nothing really special

  7. There are no Classic Superstars now, that was a Jakks thing. Mattel has the Legends line, which bombed in shops and is now online-only (the Arn Anderson and Bundy figures are from that). Bossman is part of the standard Elite Collection line which is a big seller in shops. Since the Legends line went to shit, they've started including one or two Flashbacks per Elite series -- these are either superstars from the past, or current wrestlers in old looks. Flashbacks so far have been Papa Shango, debut Kane and Brood Edge. The current series Flashbacks are King Booker and Bossman, and the next series has Yokozuna.

yeah, I use "classics" as a genral term for retro/re-release figures (comes from collecting transformers. But thanks for thre info. I'll deffo get that bossman now

  8. that's the main problem with power slam now. It's all Fin now and no doubt he must be feeling the strain at carrying so much of the work load. A couple of years ago, you had several writers ans Stately was allowed to make jokes. The "three-ring circus" if you will. Now, I almost expect the next issue with the headline "oh, what's the bloody point?!" before finding out Martin did himself in with a overdose

  9. Live action

its like one of those programs where if it had been an inch to the left or an inch to the right it would have been a car crash. But its not, ts great!

Although its the guy that voices Joe swanson from family Guy and I cant help but imagine that the tick is Joe swansons alter ego

He'll ALWAYS be Puddy from Seinfeld

And Brock Sampson in The Venture Bros. it's a shame it got cancelled after 1 season. It could've found it feet and really gotten going. The episode where Authur gets commited is excellent

  10. Of all the years I have purveyed smut on the net, I have never come across (no pun intended) Wifey. She's great!

Not sure how true this is, but UK porn girls don't come across any where near as fucked up as their US counterparts.

    This good enough for you?

Not good at all. Vile bitch should rot in hell.

I was more thinking about the way US porn girls always look and sound like they are ripped to the tits on something, where the british ones all appear to be sober and actually enjoying it. Not being in the business, I'm probrably wrong, but it's just the impression I get.

I see what you mean. Just wait until the babe channels go HD, then you'll see the sins of man etched on a human face

  11. A lot of the visuals haven't aged too well. Like watching the first series of Red Dwarf after a few years. Mean machine and hammerstein still looks good, the lawgiver and lawmaster still look excellent and some of the sets are ok. But the only really good thing in the film is still Ian Dury's cameo. But then I'm one of those who still read 2000AD and could just about stomach Dredd taking his helmet off, but not snogging Hershey

  12. God, has it really been 10 years? I remember getting hyped for this and the wonderful way Tommy Boyd wound everyone up with his "makeup artist under the ring" theory, which spilled over into a worked shoot about how "If I see a wrestler, backstage, with a razor in ome hand. if he doesn't have a can of shaving cream in the other, he's out the door" and Alex Shane's scuffle on the radio. Instead of being pissed off I fell for Boyd's hype, I thought: if this gets a tv show, Tommy has to be the Vince McMahon character. Listened to the coverage on the radio and watched it with my little brother after convincing him it wouldn't be old blokes and rip offs of WWE stars and to give their tiny ring a chance. By the final with Dougie and Jodie, he was loving it
