You know how Cameron specifically referenced praised that million-member Facebook group supporting the police. Oops.

Hope he learns from it in future, but is it really relevant? The actual page isn't being used by him for a platform for racist jokes, and people are joining it not because they agree with him but because they want to show support to the police.

Manchester city center is said to be calming down, still trouble in Salford though.

Liverpool looks to be the trouble spot post midnight tonight.

Looking at the news feeds a shit ton of kids out in these gatherings. Wonder if they'll be shortening summer holidays in the idea that they won't have this length of time to get bored and cause crap.

I don't want to start off a race debate or anything, but if it was mainly black kids, why would be be wrong for stating that?

Personally I don't think it would, but some idiot with no sense of perspective would go dragging the debate off in terms of racism and detract from the point these cunts are smashing up London and terrorising people.

The bystander on Sky News there just seemed to tie himself in knots to avoid going "it was the black kids!"

Its been reported that european shop keepers have been fighting back. Im pretty sure that there is a canny few shops in London.

Aye they're stood outside their shops apparently armed with baseball bats. Good to see people fighting back.

My street is normally quiet. Scary thing is the hatred that was in everyone's eyes. Not towards me or even the police, just in general.

Simply not enough Police to contain some areas. I think what Rick said about Military support is an obvious course of action.

Media's having to pull cameras out, hopefully the Police take the oppertunity to use heavier force to stop this.

And what Rick said, how this is still at zero fatalities is extraordinary.

Should have done that after the first night. Rubber bullets + Hoses, order a curfew in the troublespot areas, and go hard on anyone refusing to co-operate.

The only thing that will get through to these people is a show of force.

I thought Dillkid was 15? I thought they stopped kids leaving school at 15 years ago?

Still possible now. You can do your final exams at 15 and leave, you'll still turn 16 before the next academical year but technically finish school at 15.

If I hadn't moved on to college I would have.

Edit: Also wtf happened with Bispham then, I haven't been around here in a few years but he was an absolute quality bloke back then.

Been away this past week so I just got back and saw this.

Met him at one show in Cov a while back briefly was a friendly bloke, mostly knew him from decent posting on here.

Thoughts are with his family, as said by others, far too young an age.
