Just wondering if anyone has read Chris Kanyon's book? Or James Dixon's Titan Sinking: The decline of the WWF in 1995? Or Hart Strings by Julie Hart?
Â
Looking for something a little bit different to read and was wondering if they were any good?

Also, I've been re-watching some Prison Breaks recently, the first few episodes are really great at setting up the show. I bloody loved the first two seasons of that show (and hated the final 2 just as much!), however watching it back, maaan a lot of it looks stupid. Mainly the actual escape parts, it's also aged terribly considering it's only 10 years old. still great fun though. I defy anyone to watch the first episode and not then want to watch the next one.
Â
Never has something been quite so true. First season = break; second season = on the run. So far so good. Third season = break, have we not been here before?
-
Watching House on Netflix. Can't wait for it to end now, I'm 6 seasons in and everything stopped being interesting around season 3. It's essentially the exact same episode on a loop.
Â
I really enjoyed the first few series, but.... I completely lost interest when he got rid of the assistant folk, only to re-hire them. Just why?

Solomon Crowe seems to have been teased, disappeared, teased, disappeared on countless occasions now. Is he not very good or do they keep changing their mind on him?
-
The tag bout involving Team 3D (Since it is spoilered, I won't mention the full match)... Who wants to see that in 2014? It's questionable if anyone wanted to see it in 2004.

Rick's last paragraph sums it up perfectly. Every time Jericho returns, he erodes what made him enjoyable. Bit by bit. I think I would be happy if I never saw him in the ring again. The idea of thinking that 10-15 years ago would have been alien to me.

His head looks further back than his body... Like his head is in the distance while his body is closer to you. Weird.
-
Must admit, I watch The Following. I would not say it is shit, although it's obviously ludicrous.
-
Is Madison Rayne 'back' then? I've not watched TNA in ages but the last time I did she was being released because she was away having a baby.
-
Gutted for Enzo. Certainly a real highlight of NXT for me.
-
If there is, I'm sure he is working on it. I actually like Low Ki but he really is not a fan of leaving on good terms, is he?
-
Loving Enzo Amore. Actually think Cas has improved since the initial weeks. Originally, he appeared to just stand there as big guy/tree. At least he seems to get involved now.
-
Even his mic work beforehand was bloody awful. Not in a heel way just in a sheer "please, shut up" sort of way. He is absolutely brutal.
-
Seconded. There just seems so little about him that is interesting. Just a horribly generic wrestler. If I thought of a wrestler it would be a guy with long greasy hair, a semi-decent physique and a bland trunks.

I was at a night in Stranraer where Paul Nicolson, Robert Thornton, Daryl Fitton and Gary Robson played against four qualifiers, through to semis and final. Between each stage Michael Van Gerwen played against guys, who either won a raffle or bid for the spot (I think). He would give guys a head start, etc.
Â
The best part was him throwing a 170 checkout with straws instead of flights. It was a great night. Well worth it.

I'm a big fan of tv series and im fast running out of things to watch.
Â
Prison break- amazing series from episode one to the end you get sucked into it.
Criminal minds- always a fun show to watch imo very psychological and makes you think.
Â
Ive just watched episode 1 of american horror story I DARE ANYONE to watch this show it is .......fucked up to say the least but im excited to see how its going to unfold because they can't just kill the family off or there wouldn't be a second series
there are some absorbing characters and im looking forward to finding out more about them.
Â
should i start boardwalk empire ?? i don't know much about it but love the main guy in it
Â
Watched American Horror Story. It's um... different but probably worth watching.

Have to agree, I would have Bully Ray a lot higher than 48. He has had some cracking promos this year, some cracking matches and got himself in shape. He'd certainly be pushing for a top ten spot.
-
Have to echo the TNA love for Garza. He could move like an X Division guy but just his smug heel-ness of looking down on the other guys was great.
Â
Edit: Send? I meant echo.

I've never seen it done... but apparently people have been known to put a wagon wheel on top of a Scotch pie.

I must admit, the magazine is stronger with the interviews. If there is someone decent being interviewed I will likely buy it.
-
Funnily enough, on Saturday Kitchen this week they showed you how to make Choux pastry. I think they even used it for Eclairs. Could be on the BBC site.
-
Agreed. He can't really play te panto villain role, then moan when he gets booed. I don't mind him at times but he needs to tone it down. There was a moment where he hit a big checkout (170?) and then the other boy hit a maximum to start the next leg and he shook his hand. That was a nice touch. He either needs to get a thicker skin or ditch a wee bit of the "character".

About halfway through Glue by Irvine Welsh. It's not bad and if you like Trainspotting or Porno, then you will like this. Hoping to get it finished by Christmas, just in time for some books no doubt!

The new Lucozade advert suprises me on a few levels and all of them are levels of crap. Firstly, a cover of a song ('Buck Rogers' by Feeder) that is on a level of piss-poority as the cover of A track 'Number One' used in Young Persons Guide To Becoming A Rock Star'
Â
Secondly, using the The James Cleaver Quintet? Screamo arsery adopting their sound for the masses, big suprise there.
Â
Thirdly, the unashamed demographic of going for what the 'kids' of today like with the skateboards and 3 wheeler! Should have done it properly, the band in front of a bored looking crowd with their arms crossed in Camden, waiting for something good to happen then walking out to the streets which are being looted and on fire.
Â
[/end vent]
Â
It really is gash, isn't it? Someone else had mentioned it and I was yet to see the ad. I saw it yesterday and just sat frozen in disgust at the sheer shiteness of it.

Genuine question... Would anyone buy into the idea of a title switching reasonably often between the same two guys? For example, basically saying that two guys in a best of seven series are so evenly matched that either one could win on the night. Or would it just completely diminish the title?
