They should sign Chessman from AAA and pretend they still have Sting.

That sounds familiar

Maybe the weekend was too much for him?

Exactly what I wrote on another forum + it looks like Warrior was suffering from high blood pressure.

Sad news, Warrior was my favorite as a kid and will always be an inspiration to me for intensity and living for the moment.

Anybody ever heard of Ritual? Just found out about them a few months back, a great NWOBHM band that never got much attention. They have been around for quite a while now but only released two albums, Widow (1983) and Valley of the Kings (1993), both albums are great but I feel Valley of the Kings is the better of the two.
A true hidden gem.

Well, album of the year is sorted for me:

Brutal retro Heavy/Thrash which was recorded back in 2010 but was only released this month.

An interesting concept and a very good match, shame the commentary is annoying as hell.

A great classic heavy metal band that sounds like a modern Manowar, just brilliant stuff right here.

Nope, ORE are a droney doom band that use tubas and pretty much nothing else.

Quite bizarre but I like it.

You should check OGRE -

Beelzefuzz - anyone?
A great new band from Maryland, these guys released my favorite album this year. Here, check this out:

Anybody that likes classic Heavy Rock/Doom will get a kick from this.

One of the best matches I've seen this year:

NJPW Invasion Attack (full show)
Haven't bothered to see the whole show yet, but the main event was very good indeed. Meltzer again proves to me he's a total half wit by giving this match a 5/5 and yet for all I know he never even rated Okada vs. Naito from last year which was an amazing match and a much much better bout than this one.
