D'Lo was in WWE until 2003 then went to TNA when Russo was there and had a pretty good run for the year or so he was there feuding with AJ Styles for the NWA title.

What's happened over the last half a decade is that they have rushed into pushing stars and putting the belt on guys like Swagger, Ziggler, Sheamus etc and not followed up in making them constant main event stars like they did in the years before with Lesnar, Orton, Cena and Batista. You look at Swagger now and never think of him holding a World title and Ziggler seems stuck in the mid card even though he's held the big one and I hope they don't mess it up with Reigns. With one World champion now and that man being Brock Lesnar it would be the huge win that would elevate Reings to the next level. The only thing is that the fans might shit on him especially at Mania despite being behind the guy less than 12 months earlier.

Reigns who hasn't beaten anybody noteworthy.

I don't think so. After his spell with LOD 2000 he went on to basically job on Metal and Heat. I think they would have eventually had Albert maybe turn on him then fired him. The question is what would have happened to D'Lo had this not happened.

I know, he's so annoying but he was only there until April 1993. Vince and Savage ignore him most of time. The episode was alright had Bam Bam squash a young Scotty 2 Hotty, 6 man tag with Michaels and Beverly Brothers vs Nastys and Tatanka and the last match with Skinner vs Taker was cut short because the Hogan segment went too long.

Tried Watching Raw from episode 1. Got to episode 5 before jacking the idea in.

 

I'm doing the same thing. i just finished the episode where Hogan comes back to announce he's going to help Brutus take on Money INC, which I think was episode 6. 

Think i'm in the minority with this, but I wasn't into that Ryback promo at all. At least, I wasn't up until the point where he credited a fucking self help book that teaches you the power of positive thinking and harnessing good energy to get all that you desire, at which point I started pissing myself laughing.

 

I'm not his biggest fan in the first place, but sincerely going on about fucking space magic, particularly when he's supposed to be some invincible nails bastard cokehead bouncer from fucking hell, is absolutely demented. No wonder the guy seemed like such a head the ball all these years - he is.

 

He was talking about it on Jericho's Podcast recently. He has a poster on his wall with the goals he wants to achieve on them and how this self help book changed his life.

Maybe he's going to shave his beard off for Comic Relief, surprise appearance from Lenny Henry on the cards

No both men were counted out after Neville got thrown into the ringpost, Owens got in and found out he was counted out and got maaaaad

Good solid show this week again but no Zayn, Balor or Itami. No Tyler Breeze again, is he going to the main roster? Owens vs Neville was a good match, double countout didn't hurt either man and Owens again came out looking like a monster. Corbin vs Dempsey needs to happen soon though because the whole who can squash a jobber faster than the other is getting boring.

Yeah started with Kidman and Guerrero double teaming Asya and not in a two plumbers come to fix a lonely housewife's leaking sink kind of way. It was a Canadian crowd though so that explains a lot.

I am watching WCW Mayhem 1999 for the first time in years. There's a 6 man tag match between Kidman, Eddie Guerrero and Torrie Wilson going against Dean Malenko, Saturn and Asya. Guerrero and Malenko start the match off and a minute into it the fans are shouting 'BORING, BORING'. This is Eddie and Dean Malenko in the ring!! When they did it for the Evan Karagias vs Disco Inferno match I thought fair enough but these fans are just clueless it seems.

She was wearing a Paige one too and the gormless son who doesn't do anything had a Ziggler shirt

I like how WWE have chosen to forget that he ever won that Wrestlemania Battle Royal thing. 

 

 

Remember how over he was after winning the Battle royal though! Then Vince goes on Austin's podcast and says he doesn't understand why he's not getting over?! I understand he doesn't have the mic skills yet but isn't that why they stuck Heyman with him?

I don't think I could stomach a  Sheamus vs Cena feud. I can't stand Sheamus and I think he's had his time in the main event picture, he's boring and his look has become stale. Who comes out to the ring shouting 'FELLA'? It's like Wade Barrett coming out shouting 'MAAAATE'

Titus O'Neill looks absolutely massive compared to Adrian Neville.

Tyler Breeze's gimmick reminds me of the kind WCW would have put on one of their Cruiserweights in their last two years. Imagine the feuds he could have had with Lash Leroux, Lodi and Lenny Lane, The Artist, Kwee Wee etc don't get me wrong because I do like the gimmick and I think he's a good wrestler and not someone everyone loves because he's some indy darling. I hope he gets called up to the main roster soon rather than feuding with Mojo Rawley.

I get that the divas matches on NXT are better than the ones on the WWE main roster and I can understand why you hate a lot of the divas like Eva Marie, Cameron etc who are basically only there because of Total Divas now but there's Paige, AJ, Emma, Natalya and Naomi who are great in the ring and some of them even came from NXT. You've got to remember that once on the main roster it's entertainment first, wrestling second.

They really do need to unify the US and IC belts and just keep the IC now. Hopefully get Miz or Sandow to get the belt from the awful Sheamus and have a unification match with Ziggler. I know Ziggler and Miz has been done to death over the last few months but they have had some good matches and there is no need for both belts.

If it's not available through Xbox then I'm going to have to maybe get the American version
