Been watching a few WWE Events from the 1980's and early 90's and its reminded me how bland and boring I think Tito Santana is. Dont get me wrong he was a steady wrestler, but I just cannot see anything else him. Also the Strike Force tights he wore for years after they broke up gives me the impression that he is tighter than Mick Foley!

I doubt Scott Steiner knows what a Podcast is. I imagine him to be the kind of guy that still tapes Eastenders because he still doesn't know how to use Sky+ and refuses to learn.

Taz has his own Podcast now 'The Human Podcast Machine' with Edge as his first guest. I started the listening but it's more or less Taz kissing as so far plus he gives his views on Wrestle Kingdom 9. Wonder which next ex-talent will jump on the Podcast bandwagon?

Yeah the fans were behind Gable a lot. I don't think it's because he was against Breeze because he's usually over with the fans, well for a heel anyway. The NXT fans are generally weird anyway, they'll chant anything if they can do the 'Clap clap clapclapclap' between it.

Yeah seen that promo a few times on the Network and love it.

I don't get the whole JBL commentary on The Ascension's match. I get that they have looked shit and unimpressive so far but it should be JBL's job as a commentator to make them look good.

 

If the creative is just that everyone accepts they're shit, JBL's in on it. There always seem to be one or two lowercard heels that even the heel commentator hates, did he not do the same with 3MB?

 

I think the internal problem with The Ascension is that the company only realised really late that they'd never be good enough to shake off the "shit LOD rip-off" tag and the new direction is haphazardly trying to use that.

 

 

But you can understand him doing it to 3MB because they were pretty much a comedy gimmick anyway. I know the WWE haven't had a good tag division in years, I know they've had good teams but not a whole division. With the Ascension they should have just came out and destroyed anyone and everyone. Say Swagger and Tyson Kidd were having a match then for The Ascension just to come in and beat the crap out of them. I love NXT but there's no mystery anymore when a new guy debuts unless you stay well clear of NXT which is impossible these days. If someone appears on TV it's 'Oh it's him from NXT, bout time he came to the main roster' or 'Oh it's that shitty guy from NXT,'

Another thing for me was why feed them jobbers? I haven't seen jobbers on Raw for ages, I'm guessing a few more jobber squashes, a handful of Los Matadores and New Day matches before eventually going after the Uso's because who else is there for the tag champs to feud with that isn't Gold and Stardust for the 1000th time?

A lot of people skip leg day, Reigns skipped abs and chest day for a while. Hanging out with his cousin for a week or two would fix that problem though.

Do you reckon Horowitz plays WWE 2K15 and just lets everyone beat him? I bet he misses the thrill of patting himself on the back before being squashed by The Sultan.

I've been going through the Raws from the start on the Network. You get the odd gems and it brings back a lot of childhood memories for me. Vince McMahon called the Steiners Scott and Rob and Macho had to apologise after the commercial break which I found funny. On the last episode I watched it was the one where Rob Bartlett pretends to be Elvis Presley through the show. I can't wait to reach the episodes after he leaves because all he does is mock the wrestlers, everything he says shits on the product and you can tell Vince hates it.

I think Paige has panned out pretty well. It took her a few months but I think she's grown a lot of charisma and confidence and she is over with the fans which can't be said about most of the divas.

Cesaro's being put with Heyman after Andre battle royal win

Sasha Banks and Charlotte had a match on Main Event this week. I can see Sasha moving up to the main roster soon because it feels like she's been at development for ages, She's got the look and is a great wrestler. If they filter the Divas now and have the good wrestlers in Paige, Sasha, Noami, Natalya going for the belt and leaving Eva Marie, Cameron, Rosa, Summer doing what they do with Total Divas. 

I don't know who Rusev will face at Mania but it's a good chance that he will have his first loss there... so I'm guessing Cena.

Yeah Orton will be back, he came out to the ring after Raw went off the air this week and you know he's going to end up feuding with Rollins. Maybe Orton vs Rollins at Mania?

Album of the year for me was Monuments to an Elegy by The Smashing Pumpkins. Agreed with whoever said about The Endless River by Pink Floyd because I realltystarted enjoying the album after a few listens plus is made me also go back and listen to their classic records and appreciating them all over again.
