He must have some dirt on someone on the council to be getting hand outs like that

Nope, this Kirsty O'Callaghan has been grifting with him for years. They used to be co-owners of a mindfulness organisation but then shut down rather quickly....Once accounts went overdue and loads of money missing

  2. I think the older one was thinner so it was harder to get through. This one is too wide though and easy to skip around the Gladiators.

Do agree that Barney is awful though.

@Tim Healys Chutney Spoon - I'm the kind of person who is going to get annoyed every time they see your username simply because there's no apostrophe...bring back Big Pete!!

Moo said that the board settings wouldn't allow an apostrophe, sadly.

Might change it back on the next round of changes if Moo will allow it.

Been organising a 'money can't buy/big ticket' draw for the Air Cadet Squadron I'm involved with and not expecting a huge amount of response, I've now been able to raise over 30 items ranging from wrestling tickets to signed Oscars programmes to fly fishing lessons to £300 gift vouchers to vintage radios!

So overwhelming that local businesses and individuals would willingly donate things like this for the sole reason of raising money for young people and helping give them a chance of experiences and activities they'd not normally get.

    Thanks Dunmow and surrounding areas!

Just a small update, now onto 48 prizes including a flight sim experience in an F-4 Phantom and the offer of our Squadron being able to visit and be hosted by them in the future to try all their other Simulators out, including their F-3 Tornado that's currently being converted to sim ability.

Some of the stuff the small local business/individuals donated:

    Around £90 of jewellery,

    Pair of designer sunglasses

    £100 worth of booze

Loads of vouchers worth £75 upwards

    Free car service&MoT

Pisses me off a bit when you get the following offered by huge companies in comparison:

    Specsavers - 25% off voucher!

    Co-op - box of chocolates!

But hey ho, all the money raised will go to a good cause! Especially as a BGT winner has offered to put on a show for us for next to nothing and all proceeds will go to the Squadron too. Should nearly double the Squadron funds this year!

Big love to Renee Paquette. She adds wonderful subtleties as an interviewer that makes her seem like a human being capable of thoughts. Loved her giving Saraya the evil eye when she clocked on that they're fucking about with Ruby Soho.

Renee makes the shows for me. Utterly brilliant at subtly explaining an in joke or backstage political thing, whilst saying very very little. Plus I love the looks she gives people when they go on about Smashing up Mox...the look of 'have you met my husband?' Makes me chuckle.

Me and my daughter are watching Takeshi’s Castle at the moment but when that’s done we will give this a spin

I was obsessed with Gladiators when I was a kid! I do wonder if that was the building blocks for me getting into wrestling. Used to get so angry with Wolf that I’d almost be in tears, but then Jet would come out and all would be well

The other thing that kept me engaged was my PE teacher telling us all he was a contestant on it. Every Friday we’d be excited to see if Mr Cookson was going to be on TV that weekend….found out a while back it was all bollocks and he was just taking the piss

I happened to fall across Takeshi's Castle on Amazon with Romesh and Tom Davis doing the voiceover.....awful awful awful.

Do think they needed a female presenter though to do the 'drool over the men' shtick that Ulrikakakakaka used to do, bin off Barney and get someone in who can so subtle drooling,.but solid presenting too.
