I've been watching a bit of WWF 1992 recently for no real reason and was struck by the massive change up just before Summerslam.
All TV is leading to a Flair/Savage rematch, Warrior/Shango, Hart/Michael's for the IC belt, Bulldog/Repo, LOD/Beverleys and Bezerker/Taker after Beserker tried to stab Undertaker with his Giant Nordic Sword.
Then in about early July, everyone suddenly bangs on about "The Summerslam You Didn't Think You'd See", which must have been code for 'Shit, we need to change this pile'. We then get the card we end up with.
Can anyone shed any light please? Cheers.
