  1. The first time I had sleep paralysis was terrifying. Old hag approaching me and I couldn't move or scream. I let out a whimper afterwards and went back to sleep.

I've also had a few panic attacks. One was so bad an ambulance had to be called.

I had my first one after reading the bit in American Psycho where he kills the homeless guy.

My dad swears he walked a fairy path when he was younger and ended up miles from where he was, unable to account for lost time, but I think he was pissed at the time TBH.

I don't believe in ghosts or aliens or any of that malarkey.

I do believe in a form of reincarnation; what kind of reincarnation terrifies me.

  2. I know what you mean. Every time he talks about something current, it somehow circles back to how great something he did in the past was. Sometimes he may add in Benoit, Guerrero and Malenko as well to make it less obvious he's blowing his own horn.

Kevin Nash gets a lot of grief from people but he'll be transparent about his faults and why he's in the business. Self-deprecating, too.

Jericho and Foley are two people who stand out to me as having enormous egos but get away with it for some reason.

I remember Foley taking credit for Sting's career cos of their Beach Blast match.. please.

Anyone remember when he threw a fit because Triple H compared him to a turd floating in the bowl during a promo in 2006?

He takes himself way too seriously.

  3. Some matches from latter day WCW I watched recently, and highly recommend, are DDP v Jarrett at Slamboree, DDP v Steiner at Greed and Nash v Steiner v Goldberg at New Blood Rising; the latter match an absolute barnstormer until it was ruined by moronic booking.

DDP could really have a great match with almost anyone, always bringing the effort and intensity, something lacking in most WCW matches.

So many let downs. Bret Hart v Sting and Bret Hart v Savage come to mind. Their matches felt undercooked. Like they did the bare minimum to have a good match and nothing more.

Piper v Hogan at Superbrawl is possibly the worst high profile match I've ever seen. Worse than Butcher at Starrcade, Sting at Starrcade and Giant at Hog Wild.

  4. I was thinking about starting an unpopular opinions thread but I don't know what the rules are re: arbitrarily starting new threads, so I'll stick my unpopular opinion here instead.

Mick Foley's Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker was awful. Emphasis on the word match. As an angle I guess it further put Mick over as a stuntman who would do anything to get over.

Did he ever have a good match in WWE that didn't need bells and whistles?

HBK at Mind Games I suppose, but, I remember being underwhelmed by that when I last watched it.

  5. I saw It at the cinema tonight. I thought it suffered from the same problems a lot of movies suffer from these days; too much shake cams, jump scares and overdone CGI. I think it failed to expand on the original in any way and the humour Tim Curry brought to the role was badly missed. It was completely lacking in nuance, it had all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. I didn't feel that the children feared "Pennywise" enough. A bit of a letdown IMO.

The actor who played Richie Tozier was incredibly irritating BTW.
